At Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh- An army training jet crashed at a school: At least 20 including children, pilot confirmed dead; 171 hospitalised

The jet first hit a high school building, then crashed into the elementary school building and burst into flames. It was right after classes ended. The kids were about to head home. The parents were waiting in front of the building.

The death toll is continuously increasing, and countless are in critical condition- including children, parents and teachers. The army is trying to hide the amount of damage- many students and parents on the spot are saying that the army attacked them. Witnesses and survivors are saying that the death toll may amount to hundreds.

These were children who were only waiting to run into their parents' arms. Head home and watch their favourite cartoons. They will now forever be waiting to go home.

The plane that crashed is an The F7 BGI. Based off a model from the 1960s- the soviet MIG-21, which many countries have already retired. It has so many safety hazards, and this isn't even the first time it crashed. Young, first time solo pilots like the one who lost his life today get put in cockpits of jets that are risks by themselves. Banglaeshi jets barely pass international safety standards. The ministries turn a blind eye as long as things seem to be active from the outside, while the public is fed fancy headlines.
