201 J4 stainless steel: 201 J4 stainless steel material belongs to high class of 201 stainless steel J series, suitable for deep drawing products of small angle type and deep stretching and salt spray test requirements, such as stainless steel sink, kitchenware, bathroom products, kettle, thermos cup, door hinge, cooker, etc.

From the above figure, we can see that the nickel and chromium compositions of 201 J series stainless steel products are not particularly different, or the law of increasing or decreasing. But in terms of carbon content and copper content, difference is the most obvious.
Copper content: J4 > J1 > J3 > J2 > J5;
The copper content of J4 stainless steel is in the range of 1-1.5%;
The copper content of J1 stainless steel is within 0.8-1%;
The copper content of J3 stainless steel is in the range of 0.4-0.8%;
The copper content of J2/J5 stainless steel is in the range of 0-0.4.
Copper content determines two factors of the product: rust resistance and product toughness. The higher the copper content is, the stronger the rust resistance is and the stronger the toughness, the product is more suitable for deep processing, stretching and other process ways. The price of the product is proportional to the amount of copper in the product. The higher the amount of copper is, the more expensive the price is. Stainless steel pipe with high copper content is more suitable for making stainless steel products of different shapes.
Carbon content: J5 > J2 > J3 > J1 > J4;
The higher the carbon content is, the harder the stainless steel product is, of course, also brittle, easy to crack when bending, so the same high carbon content of stainless steel pipe will be easier to rust than the low carbon content of stainless steel pipe.
Hardness arrangement: J5, J2 > J3 > J1 > J4.
