My journey with CAS was extremely interesting. I have become aware of situation of people that are around me, for example, foster families. Adam has taught me the patience and kindness. Moreover, I was pleased with opprotunity to help this young men.
Debating has broaden my horizons and show me that each topic is worth exploring. It has developed my oratory skills and boost my confidentiality.
Ballet has helped me with organising my minds and concentrate on development and improving, not only being sad about errors. I will definitely continue to train ballet, work with children and debate wherever I go.

CREATIVITY & ACTIVITY
Ballet is showing me that borders of my body are only in my head. It is really special moment for me in the week.
Although i have finals this year, I couldn’t leave my debate team in need, so decided to go to Poznan with them. Preparations for this took us a whole week, since the topics are revealed, one week from the tournament. They were not very interesting, but there was a lot of them, so we had tons of boring work to do. We spent 3 days to discuss every single one of them. One in particular for me was interesting, the one about final exams. It said that they should be cancelled, since they are not effective. After some time of junking I came to conclusion that although hard and nerve wrecking, they should be, since they check our knowledge.

Today, Adam has discovered that Russia and USA are so close to each other. it was so nice to see how young man is becoming aware of the fact that is obvious to me. it made me reflect more on how students are taught in Polish schools.

We met in order to discuss our upcoming debate, which topic was “chcialbym zniszczyć te świecące prostokąty”. It’s a direct quote from Taco Hemingway’s song “swiecace prostokaty”. It was one of the more difficult debates, due how abstract this topic is. We decided to focus on the idea of technological development penetrating our everyday life’s. it made me think, how much do we depend on technology nowadays, especially our phones. After digging into this topic I decided that it would be wise to put down my phone sometimes.

It is Christmas soon, so EY Foundation has organised the event for children that are part of the programme. We went to E.Wedel, where we were decorating Christmas ornaments with chocolate. Adam had a lot of fun, so I was happy too.
