What Do You Mean kulaBrands is Not a Multi-Level Marketing Company?
When I met kulaBrands I thought it was just another MLM. They said you can inspire people to go on the ride with you so you can all make money. To me…that meant multi-level marketing.
“NOT FOR ME!” I said. Been there…done that…no way…no how…nope!
So let’s put it all out there. Members get paid in 5 ways:
Reverse royalties for financially backing a new invention through reward-based crowdfunding
Reverse royalties for helping to brand the new invention through social media marketing and getting the word out
Reverse royalties through building the new company by helping the inventors make new business connections, become a household name, and by continuing to get the word out.
Earn the markup between wholesale and retail due to creating direct marketing avenues.
And yes…if a member influences another to join the team…there is incentive through income that is based on each new invite.
But they told me it is not a multi level marketing platform. Were they right? How was it different? So, I did my homework and this is what I found.
What Makes a Multi Level Marketing Company an MLM?
There is one major characteristic that they all have. The product that they promote must be consumable because everyone must keep buying for the people on the top to make money. So, if you have never made money in a multi level marketing company you will understand me when I say that the magic bean of an MLM is the autoship. Everyone under you buys or you die.
So, the Big Question is…Do I Have to Bring Anyone in Under Me to Make Money with kulaBrands.
I do not.  Here is why…
In kulaBrands, I collaborate with inventors and other kulaBrands members to launch and brand new products and help to build the companies that created them. I work as part of a team. We call it the kulaBrands Community. Some contribute more money than time and others contribute more time than money. Peter, one of the co-founders has a favorite quote.
A rising tide raises all ships
So we are the rising tide. Everyone’s cumulative efforts, no matter how great or small, contribute to the success of the brand. Then, as the fledgling company becomes profitable, each participating member gets reverse royalties that inevitably grows proportionately with the company we support and to what extent we work at it. That means that as long as the inventor makes money, we make money and it is fairly distributed between its kulaBrands supporters.
I look at it this way, instead of paying 1000s of dollars for marketing and support up front the inventor can focus on other very important priorities like running the business and making it profitable while we fuel the fire. Then, as the product sells they pay us a portion of EVERYTHING that sells.
That is it! That is the answer! kulaBrands IS NOT an MLM! So, I went all in!
What I have learned since then is that I love kulaBrands! I just love it! I see the income potential, and I have a vision. I get excited to let people in on my best kept secret! To understand it better…watch this video. Then contact the person who lead you to us!

Why can’t kulaBrands be like Nike?
Every great successful company starts somewhere and works hard to reach that dream of being successful. What if, in the beginning when Nike first started, they agreed to pay your company 6% of everything they make as compensation for helping them climb to the top. Here is a condensed history of Nike with that 6% cut that you would have theoretically received.
In their first year of distribution as the Nike brand shoes, the company’s new products grossed $1.96 million and the corporate staff swelled to 45. In addition, operations were expanded to Canada, the company’s first foreign market, which would be followed by Australia, in 1974. - FundingUniverse.com
Let’s see, $1,960,000 x 6% = $117,600. Who wouldn’t want a piece of that?
In 1974 BRS opened its first U.S. plant, in Exeter, New Hampshire. The company’s payroll swelled to 250, and worldwide sales neared $5 million by the end of 1974. This growth was fueled, in part, by aggressive promotion of the Nike brand name. The company sought to expand its visibility by having its shoes worn by prominent athletes, including tennis players Iike Nastase and Jimmy Connors. At the 1976 Olympic Trials these efforts began to pay off as Nike shoes were worn by rising athletic stars. - FundingUniverse.com
Now, $5,000,000 x 6% is even better. That is $300,000 to split.
So, Nike continued to aggressively market their high-quality useful product. And…
The company’s growth had truly begun to take off by this time, riding the boom in popularity of jogging that took place in the United States in the late 1970s. BRS revenues tripled in two years to $14 million in 1976, and then doubled in just one year to $28 million in 1977. - FundingUniverse.com
Now that is impressive and enticing. Six percent of that is $1,680,000 that gets dived up.
By the mid 1990s, Overseas revenues continued their steady rise, reaching nearly $2 billion by 1995 and… For the fiscal year ending in May 1997…(Nike had) record revenues of $9.19 billion. Overseas sales played a large role in the 42 percent increase in revenues from 1996 to 1997. Sales in Asia increased by more than $500 million (to $1.24 billion) - FundingUniverse.com
Wooooh! What would that be? $594,000,000 of reverse royalties would be split! Granted, it took them 23 years, a great marketing plan, the new athletic climate, connections to important people, and going international to do this. But what I didn’t tell you is that as a little baby company, before they created the Nike brand, Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS)…
…opened its doors in 1962…By the end of the decade, Knight’s venture had expanded to include several stores and 20 employees and sales were nearing $300,000. - FundingUniverse.com
So, it wasn’t so easy. What Philip H. Knight was missing was kulaBrands, the Internet, the perception of need, and people in high places.
kulaBrands Would Have Shortened That Decade To A Couple of Years
kulaBrands can accelerate the startup phase of a great invention because at the head of it are people in high places with big connections and 100s of years of combined business and entrepreneurial experience like:
Mr. Peter Gantner (Founder) - highly successful business builder and serial entrepreneur
Mr. Doug Kyle (Co-Founder) - successfully developed a very large insurance organization
Mr. Jeff Hoffman (Founding Partner) - co-founder of Priceline.com and inventor of the airport ticketing kiosks and is a self-professed serial entrepreneur that travels the world over helping others become entrepreneurs, meets with presidents of the United States, and the list goes on)
For more about the founders…
kulaBrands has a whole community that aggressively markets the new invention on the Internet both before and after the project launches and helps to make local, national, and international connections to rapidly increase the demand and brand recognition.
Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS) didn’t have any of that to begin with.
Now let’s look at the very first project kulaBrands started.
Tumblr media
The Zip n Store Story…
Zip n Store is a very practical and unique invention that was created in June of 2016, launched on Kickstarter, and raised over $150,000 within 33 days (only 1% of funded projects reach the 100K mark!).
Tumblr media
Because of the kulaBrands online marketing support before and after its launch, within 2 months of launching, Zip n Store was viewed over 25 million times on social media sites.
It is now being sold on Amazon Prime throughout the U.S. (Amazon contacted them due to the incredible Internet activity and universal interest).
With the extensive respect, expertise, and credentials of the kulaBrands founders, it is nearing completion of some multi-million dollar retailer contracts, Zip n Store’s dream is becoming a reality. And, hand in hand, they are consulting Len as he goes through the legal processes of ratifying the contracts.
At the date that I wrote this article…only 1 short year has passed. They have far outpaced the first decade that Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS) muddled through.
And, guess what? kulaBrands members that contributed to its success get paid on everything they sell, including all future developments, any Amazon sales, and all sales anywhere in the world. And that check will only get better over time!
The Answer to the Question, Why Can’t kulaBrands Be Like Nike, is simple…
Because kulaBrands has and will have many very seccessful launches of products that could potentially rise to the Nike level. And, we get involved before they hit the market. It is like Nike on steroids!

Melanin-Infused #SightSaver Computer Glasses protect against the harmful #bluelight rays generated from the hours and hours we spend in front of electronic devices.
CROWDFUNDING NOW!
How harmful is HEV (blue light)?
youtube
HEV (blue light) rays are as harmful as the better-known UVA and UVB rays we protect ourselves from by wearing sunglasses when we go outdoors.
The HEV or blue light has been linked to many potential dangers.
Advanced macular degeneration and cataracts - the rays are so small that these rays are not stopped by the lenses in our eyes. Instead they can reach to the very back of the eye and cause permanent damage.
Sleep deprivation and melatonin suppression - Blue light throws our circadian rhythm into an unbalanced state. Melatonin production is suppressed which tricks your body into thinking it should be awake when it should be asleep. Melatonin is an important hormone that helps to balance sleep messages in our brain. It also affects other processes in the form of regulating other body processes that protect us from conditions such as cancer, depression, and diabetes.
Cancer (breast and prostrate) increased by 7-fold with lack of sleep, the body’s own repair system is cheated and lacks the time it takes to fully recover and protect our long-term health.
Depression - is also significantly affected by lack of sleep
Diabetes - the lack of sleep is also a secondary cause of diabetes
How do you know if your are experiencing Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS)?
The symptoms include:
Eye fatigue
Eye strain
Blurred vision
Dry or irritated eyes
Headaches
Loss of sleep
So what is the likelihood that we can avoid CVS?
Obviously one thing that would help is to never watch a tv, smartphone, or handheld device ever again. Haaaah! That is funny! Not going to happen, right? Not for me at least…look at what I am doing now! I am writing a great article that teaches you about CVS and warns you agains reading it on your computer screen! And what are you doing?
But we are turning a blind eye (the pun is intended) to the problem. You must fight this silent, insidious, unrelenting attack on your irreplaceable eyes and help them survive the digital age.
Tumblr media
Why are these new SightSaver Computer Glasses the state-of-the-art  Professional Protection you need?
Now, you can protect yourself against it in other ways. #kulaBrands is now backing a fledging company that has developed the answer to all of our CVS problems. It is called #SightSaver and it uses an advanced technology that addresses these blue rays face on.
These lenses are infused with a scientifically proven, proprietary synthetic melanin called Melaneye. Synthetic melanin was first created in the labs at Yale Medical Research Center. Natural melanin is the body’s protection against harmful rays. In addition to our skin, it is also found in the retina of our eyes – but we lose it as we age. Use of synthetic melanin can counteract this loss.
The Melaneye infused into SightSaver lenses is what sets them apart from ordinary, colored computer glasses.
Our stylish frames are made from TR-90 – which is a high-end material usually found only in designer eyewear costing $200 to $300 and more. This material is more attractive and durable than ordinary materials.
The frames are intentionally a “wrap-around” style.  This provides maximum protection by keeping out more ambient, unfiltered light that would otherwise try to reach your eyes from around the edge of the frames.
We have a detachable inner frame that fits inside the larger frame. Those needing prescription lenses can detach this frame, take it to their optician, and have their prescription lenses placed in this frame. Then simply re-attach this smaller frame. If you don’t need the smaller, inner frame, simply detach it.
Our eyewear is designed to be for everyone.
MAKE ROYALTIES ON THIS PROJECT BY CONTACTING a kulaBrands member now. If you are going to crowdfund it, you may as well make inheritable royalties on it too.

#kulaBrands is helping to launch, brand, and build #GunBaiL
GunBaiL, as featured in the above article for its innovative and high-tech way of getting #illegalGuns off the streets and is working hard and smart to get the job done!
Here are some valuable statics:
There are an estimated 150 to 220 million guns that are unaccounted for in the US
85% of all offenders are non-violent
75% of all offenders can not afford the bail
55% of them have access to an illegal gun
This helps to resolve 2 problems:
Gun violence due to accessibility to illegal firearms
Overcrowding in the jails with non-violent offenders
GunbaiL incentivizes arrested offenders with a non-financial bail option.
One criminal owns a gun + one gun bailout = One less illegal gun on the streets. As a form of making bail, offenders can trade in their guns in exchange for freedom (in terms of paying their bail - not from the law).
Also, they have the opportunity to anonymously turn in #illegal #firearms to get them off the street before they become a problem.
See what Trevor has to say…

In May of 2017 Baltimore Councilman Brandon Scott on Monday proposed a resolution in support of #GunBail, an app that allows people to anonymously turn in any kind of working firearm in exchange for the release of an inmate.

The #kulaBrands community and I are supporting this project from the ground up. You can still add to the crowdfunding of this project, including donating to a hospital if you do not have children, friends, or family that have children that can use them. 80% of All Crowdfunding Projects Fail to Raise the Funds Necessary to Launch…Why?
Statistically, only 20% of all #crowdfunding projects will raise the necessary funds to start their business, as per Entrepreneur.com, when reviewing 5 crowdfunding sites, in 2015, including the following:
Crowdfunder.co.uk - 19%
Fundrazr.com - 26%
Indiegogo.com - 13%
Kickstarter.com - 31%
Rockethub.com - 11%
So, why is the statistic so low? What creates a successful crowdfunding campaign?
Tumblr media
There are several reasons for this. First, you have to think of your crowdfunding campaign as a marketing venture just like you would if your product were already on the market. If people do not know that you are seeking crowdfunding, they will likely not know that they can support it. Taking the same companies above and again according to Entrepreneur.com the number of backers matters. On average a project only attracts 41 backers with the highest being Kickstarter.com with 108 and the rest falling drastically behind.
Tumblr media
Second, if there is no demand for your product on the market, it will more likely not be well supported in the funding phase. So, how do you find out if there is a demand? That is a great question. We call it crowdsourcing. Crowdsourcing is the practice of obtaining information or input into a task or project by enlisting the services of a large number of people, either paid or unpaid, typically via the Internet. You need to have people test your product and give you their honest opinion on all fronts. Including:
Does it solve a problem?
Is it unique?
What level of interest would they have in it?
Would they use it?
Do you need to improve design or quality?
Is it priced right?
Just like finding viable backers, it is hard to get testers without paying a crowdsourcing company up front or doing your own outreach to find testers. It is harder than you think.
Tumblr media
Third, when you post your crowdfunding project, you have to build interest quickly, maintain the momentum, and keep the audience engaged. The biggest hoop you have to jump through is problem number one above. No one knows about your project and are not looking for it specifically. So, people have to be aware of it ahead of time to really get off to a quick start. Maintaining momentum and engaging the backers is done through a couple of different ways:
Coming in in a big way will draw attention to the project
Make your offering page convincing and professional by adding professional video, clear graphics, history of your invention, market research and probability that it will succeed, and a bit about you and your business experience.
Make sure the offerings are incentivizing and enticing (adding options during the campaign can be a good move as well). Keep some pledge amounts at a reasonable level to attract smaller investors and provide some larger ones for those with deeper pockets.
Posting updates about the company and progress or additional information that can be helpful. Posting the questions that people ask and their answers is a great strategy and will save you some time.
Tumblr media
It sounds a bit overwhelming but the good thing is that there is a community of thousands of people that are already in place that can alleviate all of these problems.
The kulaBrands community has a 4-pronged approach to helping the great innovators of today to raise significantly more funds than their goal. This happens again and again and again.
Big-name entrepreneurs such as Jeff Hoffman, founder of Priceline.com, consult with you before crowdfunding. And, after funding they have big connections and lots of experience that they share with you.
We help you to test your product by providing a ready-made crowd of eager testers with definite opinions. If there is interest within the community, there will likely be interest when you go public. When we “pre-pledge” we are committing to actually crowdfund you. And, we have an incentive to do that within the first 24 hours which creates the momentum that you need.
Our members work on digitally pre-marketing you before you go to crowdfunding, during the campaign, and after you launch your product into the market.
And, our members help you to grow your business by connecting you with potential resellers, being resellers, and promoting their own online store.
We are the crowd for crowdsourcing and crowdfunding kickoff! Our model is tried and tested. Here are some of our statistics:
100% of our projects have outpaced their crowdfunding goal and have completely funded.
Example 1: Zip-n-store - Goal of $20,000, 1584 Backers, and $152,720 total funded. (Currently on Amazon, and working on contracts with large distributors)
Example 2: GunBaiL - Goal $25,000, 479 Backers, and $46,032 fully funded. (Currently working on getting pilots in large crime infested cities.)
So, here is why our community does it…
Whether you are interested in earning reverse royalties or in being an inventor, it is a win-win setup. Watch this short video for more information.

This is Crazy! What if it is not the right time?
“As a child it fascinated me that flowers bloom every spring, even after a long cold, snowy winter. My dad told me they grew underground; and at the right time they make their appearance. I asked him how they knew the right time, and he just said "they know.” I believe things come at the right time. We need to position ourselves to take advantage of the opportunities that come our way.“ - Bridgette Little
One of the greatest challenges in life is knowing when to jump in headfirst to something that you know you will love even if it means being brave…during these moments…I take a deep breath and say…"I know.” And, then I get busy learning what I need to know. We are the inventors of every day of our lives.
After watching this video…I just knew it was time!
youtube
We help support inventors who are taking a leap of faith and they give us royalties based on their success. When Zip N Store products sell on Amazon, supporting kulaBrands members make money for doing their part.
