Hello, it's been a while since I've blogged, and I'm finally back with this post after it's been sitting in a draft for a while. This time, I want to share about my first custom fake nail art design. I chose the color palette from the manga characters in Sakamoto Days, Shin Asakura and Nagumo Yoichi. Since Shin's colors are synonymous with yellow and blue, I used them as a reference, and I found Shin's design on Pinterest while looking for inspiration. I created Nagumo's design myself.

For Nagumo's design, I took the color palette from the shirt he wore on the manga voucher cover and the shirt he wore in the anime. The addition of a golden ratio tattoo indicates that he's Nagumo.

This is the initial sketch that I have made

For the thumb and middle finger, there is a glitter gradation like cat eyes. For the little finger, I took the color of the jacket in the anime as the focal point of the color.

This is the result I asked for help from a nail artist in one of the cities, I really like the results, detailed and neat. For me, from the processing time of approximately 2 weeks (because the artist uses a batch system), this is quite fast, especially since the design I requested was quite difficult (the Nagumo shirt pattern part).

My first BJD from BlindBox

Hello, it's been a while since I posted about toys. This time I want to talk about blind boxes. I originally bought them around 2020, but I only recently had the chance to open them due to my busy schedule in real life. Okay, without further ado, I'll talk about my first blind box.

I first learned about blind boxes because of a post on a Facebook channel shared by one of my online friends. The first time I saw them, blind boxes were usually in the form of figures, but this time it was different: a BJD doll. With a beautiful line-up of designs, getting one of these is definitely a no-brainer. Oh yeah, for those who don't know what a BJD is, a BJD stands for Ball Joint Doll, a type of articulated doll, meaning its body parts can be moved and positioned thanks to ball-and-socket joints.

This Blind Box is from the SIMONTOYS Sweetheart Campus series, you could say this is volume 1 of the upcoming Simontoys BJD version. Previously, there was also a Simontoys Sweetheart Campus figure (but not a bjd version) so the pose cannot be changed.

For the line-up, you can see it in this picture (aren't they all cute and adorable)

Lineup : Green Lime, Apel, Strawberry, Peach, Blueberries, Grapefruit, Matcha (Secret). As with the Blind Box, there is of course a Secret version.

The contents of this blind box also include, 5 different hand/finger poses so you can change according to the pose you want to use, a pair of shoes and socks, clothes and other accessories.

I like them all but the one that blew me away was the blueberry character, she looks so cute and funny to me, and I hope I get her.

This concludes my story about buying the BlindBox BJD Doll version for the first time. I don't think it was worth it, especially with the accessories and mementos included. The numerous joints and articulations make it fun to play with, and the poses are quite varied. Oh yeah, you can also change the head if you have a Nendroid, as the clips on the head are similar.

Hello, it's been a long time since I posted about fanmerch, this time I want to update about fanmerch from one of the fandoms, namely Wind Breaker.

One of the artists who made this fanmerch comes from the social media platform Twitter, namely lumi-nim [lumispecter]. I'm interested in the mini acrylic standee (They call it Corotto) , the design is really cute, isn't it?

I felt like taking them all home because the designs were so cute and adorable. But in the end I only took Sakura Haruka and Suo Hayato.

With the help of GO (Group Order) I managed to pick them up. Unexpectedly, the acrylic is quite thick with good picture quality too, no wonder the price is 9000 won.

Look how cute Sakura's face is with her cat ears.

I can't wait to take them out again and take lots of pictures of them with delicious food.

Hello, how are you all… I hope you are always happy and healthy. Today one of the animerch packages has arrived, I wonder which fandom it is from? Of course it is none other than the Wind Breaker fandom, this time they released merch with a marine theme. When I saw the line up and design, I immediately liked it.

They released 3 types of merch, mini acrylic standee, can badge, and acrylic keychain. However, for can badge products, they can only be purchased in bulk/not individually, for other products, they can be purchased individually.

Tadaaa~~~ Finally my package has arrived and here it is… Isn't it cute?!. I love how they draw every expression of the characters.

Due to budget constraints, I could only buy 3 characters, and the ones that caught my attention were of course Sakura Haruka, Suo Hayato and Umemiya Hajime (I don't know why, but the aura of a captain is very strong here).

I like Sakura's smirk expression, somehow it's adorable. Then Suo's expression with a smile and signature hand sign made a very elegant impression. Umemiya, with his style and smile that seems proud of the crew, gives the impression that he is the captain.

I want to take lots of photos of them, I will update again after finishing all the tasks (that is if I still remember)

Finally, after waiting a long time since the announcement on August 28, 2024, they have arrived. This time one of the merchandise is collaborating with Housei Roman. For the available character line up, there are Sakura Haruka, Suo Hayato, Umemiya Hajime, Kaji Ren. In the arm section, there are adjustable bones so they can be formed according to the desired position, isn't this very adorable?

The material is smooth, even the bottom is a bit fluffy, different from chibigurumi.

I love the expression of each character, and the details in their hair too. In terms of size, it's quite small, around 14.5 cm/ 15 cm, so it can fit in my bag when I go out.

Here are the product posts, if I had more money I would like to get Umemiya and Kaji too. Unfortunately, there were limited orders at that time, maybe some Animate Japan stores have ready stock.

After waiting for quite a long time, I was finally able to pick up Nirei home. It was delayed due to the Christmas and Chinese New Year holidays, so Nirei took quite a long time to be delivered.

So cute, her face is so adorable, her smile is so warm like the sun on a bright morning.

Hello, welcome back to Kuo's post, this time I want to share a story about merch made by one of the artists. First, I want to tell you about the package that arrived today, there are two pairs of PC holder frames and WINDBREAKER fanmerch from the Comifuro 2024 event.

Let's talk about the PC holder first, I accidentally found it on one of the local e-commerce (ID) and was immediately interested after seeing it. This frame is not only a frame but there are other details that we can add or decorate. I bought two variants, namely Red and Blue. Each gets the same details (only different colors).

I haven't removed the protective plastic yet so it might look blurry. But the quality is good, the acrylic is teal and the print is neat, the cuts are also neat. Oh yeah, each package gets its own adhesive so you don't need to worry if you want to assemble it.

Before starting to assemble I want to show something, PC fanmerch WINDBREAKER from one of the artists I met on Twitter. So as a sample to display on the PC holder I used Sakura and Suo (Actually I bought the all set PC version, I will tell you about it in another post).

For example the assembly might look like this, so I tried to put it together first before I glued it.

It turns out that in the middle there was a change in the initial design assembly, because when I tried to install the rabbit ear part at the back, it covered the back so it was difficult to remove the PC from the frame. So I had no choice but to change it so that it wouldn't be difficult.

The final result is like this, I really like the result because it gives a 3D impression too.

Finally the WIND BREAKER edition of chibigurumi or nuigurumi has arrived. This time it's Sakura Haruka and Suo Hayato. I'm also waiting for Akihiko Nirei, but Nirei was released separately from them (Sakura and Suo). Nirei was released in Volume 2. Let's wait together until Nirei arrives home safely (still on the way for worldwide shipping).

I added blush on their cheeks to make them look cuter. Their faces also present where Sakura looks cool, and look confident. Suo who smiles with a calm gaze, not forgetting the details of the eye cover and earrings accessories.

Volume 1 edition consists of Sakura Haruka, Suo Hayato, Toma Hiragi, Kyotaro Sugishita, Hajime Umemiya.

Meanwhile, vol 2 which has been released consists of Akihiko Nirei, Mitsuki Kiryu, Ren Kaji, Choji Tomiyama, Jo Togame.

This is so cute, Suo and Sakura in Little Bear Version. The Petit Bear Mascot Wind Breaker Edition have 4 variant of the characters (Haruka Sakura, Hayato Suo, Ren Kaji, and Hajime Umemiya). -. If you look closely, every detail of this bear mascot is very detailed, such as the character in the anime, Sakura who has different hair and eye colors, Suo with her eye patch and antique earrings, a corner of a wound near Umemiya's forehead and Kaji's headphones.
