SnK Seiyuu Visit Universal Studios Japan’s 2019 SnK Exhibition

SnK seiyuu Kaji Yuuki (Eren), Ishikawa Yui (Mikasa), Inoue Marina (Armin), Mikami Shiori (Historia), Fujita Saki (Ymir), Hashizume Tomohisa (Bertholt), and Kamiya Hiroshi (Levi) visited Universal Studios Japan’s “Battle to Recapture Wall Maria” event today!

While dressed in “Survey Corps cloaks,” the seiyuu visited the Levi and Erwin Clonoids, ate at the on-site bar & grill, and watched the 3D live stage play together.

I think they were supposed to get a longer punishment, but even in canon they recognize that they couldn’t afford to cuz the entire corps was reduced to like 6 people

It’s been a while since I’ve read this portion of the manga though so feel free to correct me if I’m wrong

To be honest the choice was Levi’s and his alone and he had a full right to change his decision according to the situation and he actually didn’t even change it, as he was wanting to use it on Erwin from the get go, except as he realized there was no chance of Erwin reaching them so he can use it (Hurray plot convenience tho!) and only then did he agree to give it to Armin…

I know the kids cared about Armin so much and that it was so painful for them, but they were There when Erwin issued his order that he gives Levi the right to use the serum on whoever he deems most necessary.

Them attacking Levi was actually a big crime and they should have gotten a worse punishment than a couple of weeks in a timeout corner jail.

Random question, but do you ship Erwin with anyone???

ERWIN X BASEMENT IS THE OTP THAT WAS ALMOST CANON BUT ALAS WAS NOT MEANT TO BE!!! 😭 He yearned for Basement-san so much but in the end, chose to give up the love of his life in favour of truly living up to his leitmotif to dedicate his heart and honour his fallen soldiers while giving his living comrades a chance to advance in humanity’s cause :’) 

Okay, okay lame joke (sorta) aside, I’ve kind of thought about shipping him with Hange after reading an interesting meta about their relationship that made me go “oooh 👀” but ultimately, Mobuhan is really where my heart lies when it comes to ships involving everyone’s favourite Titan scientist. 

Besides that, this doesn’t really concern shipping, but I find the fact that he used to be in love with Marie quite endearing, and I didn’t realize how much I liked this small detail until it got cut from the anime *pouts*. Not only does it touch upon a part of his friendship with Nile and background during his cadet days, it’s also a cute detail that, in a way, helped humanize him at that time. When reading the manga for the first time, I was certainly surprised to find that the cool & imposing Commander who readily embraced ruthless tactics used to have a sweet love of his own! But I guess that just further emphasized how dedicated he was to pursuing his dream. Based on the Smartpass story that revealed how he was basically Nile’s wingman and was the one who helped write the love letters to Marie, I think if Erwin wanted to, he could have successfully courted and married Marie himself in a “what if” scenario. But in any case, it’s good that he didn’t regret anything about the path he chose in life and moved on while continuing to support and respect his old friends (or else we wouldn’t have the plot :P) 

Anyhoo, as you can see from my responses Anon, I don’t really ship Erwin with anyone except Basewin ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  I think he’s a great character on his own and has good platonic canon bonds with other characters (especially his fellow vets), that I appreciate but don’t have any shippy feels towards.

I think it’s more that the spears were blown a little further away from her by Bert’s steam, so she managed to get away with minimal injuries, while Levi was literally like a foot or two away.

That or anime convenience/plot armor.

I just noticed something.

Mikasa had Two thunder spears… Not one but Two…exploding right behind her and all she got was a bit of shrapnel injury.

While we had Levi who had One thunder spear blow up near him and he got Flung into the air and had his Fingers ripped off?

Either the thunder spears became much more powerful or i call BS.

Something the people of WV need to realize too: Coal jobs aren’t being taken away, they’re being lost because we’re running out of coal, not because The Man™ wants them to be out of work. Coal is nonrenewable. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, and there’s no bringing it back. Trump’s making empty promises to a state holding onto a dying resource out of nothing but sentimentality, and that honestly is really awful.

In WV’s case, there’s no war on coal. It’s a battle to get it to change to something else before the state itself collapses and dies.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if this was the moment that snapped Eren out of his “trance”

Eren is the only one who can save Levi’s life

Levi is alone in the forest surrounded by 30 titans.

Zeke, after transforming Levi’s comrades into titans, has stolen his weapons and has run away.

Everyone in the Scouting Legion has been arrested, so no one could ever come to his rescue.

Knowing Eren is headed to Zeke, whom he believes to be in the forest, eventually he’ll bump into Levi (assuming he’ll be still alive by then, but I have hope.)

Then Eren will probably use his power to control the titans and not having Levi eaten.

I don’t know if he is on Zeke’s side or not, but in both cases I don’t think he would ever want Levi dead.
