Baron Kelvin and the Phantomhives
I want you to read these paiges from chapter 32.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So its clear that Baron Kelvin wasnt there when the Phantomhives were attacked. He also had no clue that it happend before Joker told him.
I think the real question is: Who is that man?
Tumblr media
We never saw him before or see him again.
He said that "our buyer found him just recently" which means his chef/master found/kidnaped the twins.
So however, Baron Kelvin was super pedo but not the murderer or buyer of the phantomhive twins.

How did they become Shinigamis/Reapers?
⚠️again, manga spoilers⚠️
Tumblr media
So these are all Shinigamis we know so far.
In the green witch arc we saw this conversation, from Sascha and Rudgar, two German reapers:
Tumblr media
So reapers committed suicide in their previous lives.
Maybe they can even remember their old lives. Sascha said: "Im having much more fun than when I was human!" In this picture are also some sucides pictured, maybe these are the reapers we already know.

Cedric K Ros, aka Undertaker, is likely Celtic/Irish
Tumblr media
I was doing research about the origins of the name Cedric K Ros, and discovered it has Irish/Celtic roots.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The name Ros means 'rose'. And we often see Undertaker portrayed
with roses.

Further reinforcing this theory, I also learned that the Celtic men often wore their hair in braids such as these:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which makes Undertaker's hairstyle in the Akuma 6 art and the book of Circus art all the more interesting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The ancient Celtic belief in Ireland was that the head is the essence of one’s soul and that hair was indicative of powers.
That’s why during battles, the heads of the enemy were collected and displayed. Hair had a kind of magical symbolism, an indication of one’s supernatural connections. It was considered disgraceful to cut short one’s hair or beard. If you wanted to humiliate someone you would cut his hair and he would have to hide out and let it grow before showing his face in public again.
I found this bit especially interesting, considering how much more powerful Undertaker seems to be in comparison to the other reapers.
He collectively spanked Ronald's, Grelle's, AND Sebastian's ass red on the Campania, and he did it all single-handedly and with that head of gloriously long hair.

Celtic men also wore Unascs, which are earrings.
Historically, gold earrings were worn by high-class men to show their status. An earring was once called an Unasc, which comes from ‘u’ (the ear) and ‘nasc’ (a clasp or ring). There were several kinds of ear clasp worn by men, but it seems that the ear was not always pierced. Instead, a thin ring was clasped around the ear, and from this, another smaller ring was suspended.

After getting hooked on @azuresins theory of Our Ciel being named Fenian/Finnian, I am now seeing Celtic/Irish symbolism everywhere in the manga. 😂 But there is a lot of evidence to suggest Undertaker himself has Celtic roots.
As I delve deeper into Irish lore and culture, I'm sure I'll find even more connections and will add them to this post.
Thanks for reading! 💖

Were the midfords involved in the murder of the phantomhives?
So I read this theory on TikTok. Someone commented it under an edit of Vincent.
I dont know if the person knew of the realationship between the Midfords and the Phantomhives. Its not only Elisabeth in the Midford Family with a connection to the Phantomhives.
Frances (on the right of the photo) is Vincent's sister. So a born Phantomhive. She is married to Alexis Midford (in the middle of the photo).
Elisabeth is the second child of them and is engaged to the first child of Vincent, Ciel Phantomhive.
It becomes clear that Frances cared for Ciel and his family, like Vincent or Rachel.
⚠️spoiler warning for manga⚠️
In a Flashback of O!Ciel we saw a conversation between vincent and Frances.
Tumblr media
It becomes clear that Frances cares for the future of house Phantomhive.
Its not only Frances, her husband Alexis Midford and Vincent were both at the same school as teenagers. Vincent was the perfect of the blue house and Alexis the fag of house green.
Tumblr media
And I think Alexis and Vincent got well along with each other.
Midfords are sworn knights to queen Victoria and loyal to the crown.
Tumblr media
Phantomhives are the watchdogs of the queen and also loyal. So there are no political differences between them.
I am also pretty sure that the death of Vincent and Rachel must have been quite painful for the Midfords.
I dont think they were involved in the attack on the Phantomhive manor. There are just no signs or reasons for that.
