Hajime blinked at Kuzuryuu and the (belated) birthday gift that was offered to him. The arguably dumb look on his face was soon replaced by a huge grin when a familiar scent reached his nose.
“Can I open this?” Hajime asked just to be polite. Not that he needed to open his gift to know what Kuzuryuu had given him. This kusamochi smelled really good.
At Kuzuryuu’s outburst, Hajime changed his attitude as well. He channelled his inner drama queen before giving the performance of his life.
“I have been so lonely without you. In my every waking moment I was thinking of you, waiting for you. My dearest... My dearest friend. You were in my thoughts the whole time, and yet you didn’t come. How I wished to see you.”
As if a switch had been flipped, Hajime suddenly changed back to his “normal” self.
“Nah, it’s fine. I saw your text. You were welcome to come visit me without a gift, though. I had some datemaki, the good ones.”
@kusamochilover
A new year might’ve arrived, but he was no closer to figuring out how to get out of this city.
However! This was not what was on his mind today! What was on his mind instead, was the fact that he was a day late. He hadn’t forgotten, he swears- but the thing he was looking for was nowhere to be found, and to show up empty-handed was in extremely poor taste. As he couldn’t find anything to give yesterday, he figured it would be best to arrive a day late with something instead.
Thankfully, today he was able to find what he’d been looking for, so with the gift neatly wrapped in a decorative cloth, he knocked on the door in front of him until it opened.
“… I’m a day late, but, happy birthday, Hinata,” he held out the gift he’d been trying so hard to find, a box of, hopefully, good quality kusamochi, “you probably get this a lot so sorry for the uncreativity, but I hope it’s good anyways.”
“I swear I hadn’t forgotten, by the way! But it was impossible to find this yesterday, which is fucking ridiculous! And showing up without anything just looks pathetic, right?!”
It’s no custom made cake, though to be fair, he doubted his ability to make something like that himself- he didn’t eat anything with lactose in it, anyways, and teaching himself how to make lactose-free variants hadn’t crossed his mind basically ever, so he hoped that just giving Hajime’s favourite kind of mochi would be considered thoughtful enough.

“Happy birthday to me.”
Hajime couldn't have thought he would stay in Stella City long enough for his birthday to come around. He still despises that he is stuck here, but at the same time, he is grateful for the peace and all the different people he has met here. “I hope this year will be a good one.”

It was good that Fuyuhiko hadn’t caught the sheep looking, because that might’ve turned into an argument that may or may not have ruined at least Hinata’s day. To Fuyuhiko it would’ve been business as normal, but, you know, maybe getting sent out of rides and the like wasn’t a usual happening for Hinata.
He’d gotten pretty excited thinking about the prospect of going on all the rollercoaster rides available, so it took him a moment to register what Hinata had said.
“Wait what do you mean ‘no promises’-” the car was launched off at great speed before he could finish his sentence, however, so instead he had to try and recover as quickly as he could before they went through the first loop.
He managed somehow, and even he couldn’t help but laugh a little at the end of the ride over the fact they had launched off with so little warning. He’d caught his breath at least before the harnesses released again, looking at Hinata.
“Huh, look at that. No vomit from the entire car, even so early in the morning! That’s something, you know.”
He’d seen plenty of people going on rides right away even when they couldn’t stomach them from the times Natsumi forced him along throughout entire amusement parks. Pretty gross- but kinda funny at times, too, when it’s someone else.
“Let’s not celebrate too early,” Hajime laughed as he rose to his feet and stepped out of the rollercoaster car. He offered Kuzuryuu a hand and smiled. “This was our first of the many rollercoaster rides we’re doing today. Better to not jinx it.”
And they sure did ride many rollercoasters. Stella World had plenty of them. Hajime thought all of them were fun, but his favourite remained the first rollercoaster ride because of how fast that one was.
They had gone into every rollercoaster ride Stella World had to offer at least once by the time they decided it was time for a lunch break. The food here was overpriced, but seeing as they had used free tickets to get into the park Hajime couldn’t say he minded it too much. Still, all the choices were a bit overwhelming.
“Could I get uhhhh...” Hajime had a look at the menu displayed above the counter. The sheep cashier seemed to get increasingly more impatient as Hajime’s 'uhh’ went on. Hajime shot a glance at Kuzuryuu, almost like a silent plea for help. When that help didn’t come, Hajime had no other choice than to do the unthinkable to his best friend. “I will have whatever you are having.”

“The sheep like me here, you know.” Nagito started explaining as he took a few mushrooms in his hands and examined them closely. The sheep had for some bizarre reason, been kind to him. The sheep from Toffee Tours had taken him to explore more of Stella City and its history, told him about the tragic story behind the Ram, the hope The Rock brought them, and the past behind the mysterious remnants of the walls. It felt enjoyable to a degree.
He had bonded with the sheep, too. Nagito loved the experience he got with all three of the tour sheep. He had enjoyed Choco’s sassy nature as she sneered at Nagito and pulled his leg a few times too often. Then there was Crois, who was serious and hardworking, and wanted to make sure Nagito got the full experience of Stella City’s experience, even if it came at the expense of ordering Nagito around to see certain things. All to receive a soft finish by being led around by the sheep called Coco, who was timid and shy, but their eyes sparkled when they told Nagito about the smallest details of the city. Ah.. this city surely must have resembled Hope to them.
It all went fine, until Nagito got pointed towards Wonderland Woods in the evening and was told about the mushrooms that grew there at this time of year. Apparently they had special side effects, but Nagito didn’t care to listen and plucked them at random. The place he found himself in may have changed from a tropical island to an autumn, almost winter, scene, but that didn’t stop Nagito from acting like he always would. If he were to trust anything, then it would be his own Ultimate Luck, and speaking of that–
“To think I could become even more useless than this… I was already trash, but now I am even below that. I truly am despicable… and a parasite of this earth.” He let out a soft sigh. “I must have the worst luck, Hinata-kun… could you imagine what would happen to me if, by unforeseen chance, I lost my own talent?”
His lips turned into a smirk and he raised his hands. “Wouldn’t that be remarkable? And especially if done by sheep? Therefore, Hinata-kun, surely you agree with me. There’s only one thing I have left to do.” He held out a mushroom to the brunet as he spoke.
“I just have to test my own luck, that’s all! Haha! Hahaha..!”
Knowing fully well that any discussion about how Komaeda wasn’t trash would fall on deaf ears, Hajime didn’t even attempt to bring that up. Instead, he looked down at the pile of mushrooms beside him and pulled up one eyebrow at them.
“What exactly are you trying to accomplish here? Do you know the side effects of eating those?”
Despite their appearance, the mushrooms shouldn’t be harmful. During the Pumpkin ‘n Spice Festival, the residence of Stella City had been actively encouraged to try those mushrooms. Hajime had been here long enough to know Stella and Aries wouldn’t let any harm come to their beloved citizens.
Unless Komaeda knew something that Hajime didn’t? He had mentioned just before that Stella City was frightening. That and Hajime wasn’t actually sure what would come from eating those mushrooms. Better to be safe than sorry.
“You would die just to test your luck? I don’t think that would bring any hope. If anything that would bring despair to this city. I can already imagine the headlines in the newspapers...‘Idoit found dead eating poisonous mushrooms as a midnight snack.’ ”

It brought joy to Nagito that he was even invited to come join the other, which he happily did as he dropped himself on the bench beside Hajime. He carefully glanced to the other as he listened to him speak, and met him with a smile in response, which turned into a laugh soon after.
“Do you want to know, Hinata-kun?” His mind spun as he tried recalling the events prior to this meeting in a chronological manner, but he found all of it hard to piece together. “I suppose I just ended up that way…? Ne, Hinata-kun. Would you care to listen to the things I have discovered today? I am sure it might be of interest to you too.”
Nagito trembled from the cold as he felt the temperature affecting him. Being one to realize he might not survive the conversation if he remained in this state, he started piling the collected mushrooms between them on the bench to free up use of his coat again. Once done, he put it around himself to keep himself warm. It was a meager difference, but surely one that could help him endure being outside a little longer.
“After all, even without a killing game present here… this seems like a frightening place, regardless.”
Hajime watched Komaeda pile up a bunch of mushrooms which he presumably had collected at Wonderland Woods. Hajime absentmindedly picked one mushroom up, but quickly placed it back down again once Komaeda mentioned this was a frightening place.
“Frightening how? Did something happen?” Knowing Komaeda and his luck a lot of things had probably happened to him in the short time he had been in Stella City. “Are you alright? If you need something you should come out and say it.”
Killing game or no killing game, Hajime didn’t want Komaeda to fall back into his old habits again. It was essential that Hajime kept an eye on him and made him feel like he was someone he could trust for everyone’s sake.

The splashing of the fountain behind Hajime made for a relaxing background noise as he let his mind wander. He had been fortunate to have an early shift tonight, which meant it wasn’t too late yet by a bartender’s standards. Knowing fully well that he wouldn’t be able to fall asleep now even if he tried he was in no hurry to get home.
Just as he had decided he would stay outside in this nice and quiet spot for a little while longer, his peace was disrupted. From out of the shadows and into the street light stepped a familiar face. Hajime wasn’t quite sure why Komaeda had suddenly appeared in Stella City recently, but that didn’t stop him from waving back.
“Hi,” Hajime stoically returned Komaeda’s greeting. “It’s alright. Come sit with me.”
Being away from Komaeda for almost a year had helped Hajime a lot with figuring out how he felt about the lucky student. Hajime couldn’t say he had forgiven Nagito for his actions concerning the first murder that had taken place on the island, but his presence had become a lot more bearable and perhaps even slightly desirable. If anything Hajime wanted to get to know Komaeda better now that they weren’t in a life-threatening situation which brought out the worst in him.
“...Why are your pants wet? Do I want to know?”
@kusamochilover ❀
Today had been a bit of a roller coaster ride for Nagito Komaeda. With evening fully have settled in a long time ago, he wormed a way through the woods of Stella City as he searched for many things to help him cope with his current predicament. Freshly picked mushrooms were carried in his coat as he waded his way through the river to get across, and with the cold currently numbing his legs, he felt like a part had died with him along the way.
“How beautiful…” He breathed to himself as he watched the sheep by the roads nuzzle into each other for sleep, lit by the moonlight that came piercing through the clouds. If his emotions hadn’t been torn to pieces and crushed to smithereens prior to this moment, he may have thought it was the photo copy of Hope he was gazing upon right now. Instead he felt a hollow emptiness, which he sought to fill with whatever he could get his hands on right now.
And just when he had wished upon that, he stumbled upon a familiar figure not too long after. He approached Hajime in a tired pace, wet ends of his jeans slowing him down, but he eventually managed to reach the brunet and drew a cold breath. It was cold enough for himself to see it, too, and he suddenly realized that it must be nearing winter right now, which was a massive change compared to the tropical life he had gotten used to before this. He supposed he wasn’t even lucky enough to arrive in the right season of the year.
Nonetheless, he decided to ignore all that and chose to speak to Hajime, who had been resting on a bench in front of the fountain. “How fortunate for me to find you here, Hinata-kun.” Nagito gave him a hesitant wave. “I’m sorry, am I actually bothering you? I can imagine you don’t want me intruding on your free time at a late time like this… Perhaps I should take my leave again?”

“Lucky you indeed.”
He wonders momentarily if this joke was obvious enough, or if the intent would be misinterpreted. However, this was Hinata, so either way… It wouldn’t really matter, right? Because it’d be fine.
Ah, that didn’t mean he wasn’t annoyed at being dragged around, however. Don’t misunderstand. There is, however, a rollercoaster ride in front of him, and the car is right there- so he’s more than willing to put that aside for now. Thrill rides like these… Really were the way to go, you know? Once Hinata sat down and strapped himself in, Fuyuhiko got in the seat next to him.
“Well, of course it is, you idiot.”
“It’s a rollercoaster ride, after all! If this isn’t one of the things you go to in an amusement park, then what the hell are you even doing?”
They really are the best part, you know? He pretends for a little while like he doesn’t notice his own excitement, but it’s no use- he’s actually… Looking forward to this. He sits back as the sheep behind the control panel gets up to check on everyone’s harness- it wouldn’t do if it just came loose during the ride, after all.
“… If you gotta vomit, at least turn away from me, though. These shoes probably cost more than your entire wardrobe. At least we’ll have a laugh if you hit anyone standing below.”
For someone who pretended to not care a whole lot about amusement parks, Kuzuryuu seemed to be enjoying himself a lot. This was perhaps the happiest Hajime had ever seen his best friend. Hajime would tease him about it later. After everything they had been through together, Kuzuryuu deserved to have a good time without him ruining the moment just once.
“So we are doing all the rollercoaster rides first. Noted.”
Hajime caught the sheep who was checking everyone’s harness shooting a glance at Kuzuryuu, then at the 'You must be at least this tall to get on this ride' board they had passed earlier and then back at Kuzuryuu. There was a moment of hesitation before the sheep nodded and stepped away to push the button which would start the ride.
“Here it comes! I will try to not vomit on you, but no promises.”
No sooner had Hajime said that or the ride started. This rollercoaster was special in the sense that it launched the rollercoaster car into high speed rather than using the momentum of a great fall to gain speed. Hajime yelled as the rollercoaster looped and twisted. The ride was over before he knew it, but nevertheless, he was laughing at the end of it.

There’s a moment of confusion between the time his words reach her ears and the moment he pulls her inside his room, in which her brain processes (or tries to) what is happening. She recovers quickly, though, and doesn’t try to fight it: this is just how Hajime is. And she trusts his words completely.
She looks at him for a few seconds after he asks her to explain everything. She thought he would already know by this point — she never doubted that they’d find out about it eventually — but she tells him anyway. She has to, if she is to get his trust back. Hues glued to the floor between them, she starts speaking as he wishes.
“ …Everything. “ She looks back into his eyes. “ I remembered everything, Hinata-san. Our lost school memories, about everyone attending Hope’s Peak and about… “ She gulps. She doesn’t want to admit, but she has to. She has to. “ …A-about Junko… It’s all h-her fault… “ She can feel a few tears prickling at her eyes and tries to wipe them away. “ I-I’m sorry, Hinata-san… I-I blamed you all for m-my behaviour but it was her f-fault… “
That’s right. Neither Mikan nor her classmates are to blame. It’s all her fault. They’re just victims here. Mikan continues to wipe the tears from her cheeks; she’s sad, anxious, guilty. She just wanted to be happy with her friends. That’s everything she wanted.
“A-Ah, hey...”
Tsumiki’s tears shouldn’t have caught Hajime off guard, but they did. He had no tissues on hand to offer her. Instead, after a moment of hesitation, he gently grabbed her shoulders in an attempt to calm her down.
“I don’t know who that is.” Hajime could only assume that this meant Tsumiki’s beloved was this Junko person. Something about that bothered him. Tsumiki had explained she had killed for love, but now as much as the thought of her beloved reduced her to tears? “Sorry, I’m not following. I still want you to explain, but calm down a little first.”
Hajime squeezed Tsumiki’s shoulders softly. He couldn’t believe it. Everything about her was as he remembered... except for the fact that she wasn’t dead. Was she a fake? If she was she was a very convincing one. There were too many things Hajime wanted to know all at once. Perhaps he should hit his head again to make extra sure he wasn’t asleep still.
“How is this possible? I saw you die. After we investigated the new island I somehow ended up here, but months have passed since then. All this time has passed and I still don’t know anything!”
Hajime hadn’t meant to raise his voice there, but nobody could blame him for being frustrated with himself. He bit his bottom lip hard enough to taste blood. Nothing had changed. He was still as powerless as he had been back on Jabberwock Island.

Mikan could feel the tense vibe coming from Hajime. In any other time, she would become tense and anxious (as usual) herself, but this time was different because of his words. Despite sounding very confused to her (thinking about it again, she kind of understands why he feels that way), she couldn’t help the small smile that made its way onto her features. “ I’m happy you remember me…! “ She truly was — if he remembered her, that means she was at least a little important to him, right? Just enough for him to remember after all this time, right?
Her eyes met his… face, and the smile was replaced by lips gently pressing each other. Perhaps she shouldn’t have said anything at all… The fact that he refuses to meet her gaze is enough to tell her this isn’t quite the happy reunion she’d like. No, of course it isn’t. She expected something like this deep down, but she prefered the other, happier option. But she killed, and not one, but two people — even worse, their friends. Of course this wouldn’t be like she wanted.
“ …Y-yes… “ Now it’s her time to avoid looking him in the eye — it may seem like she’s lying, but she’s just nervous. But of course, Hajime has no way of being certain unless she can convince him of it. And for that, she needs to seem more confident in her words, prove she’s not the same despair-filled Mikan he witnessed after accusing her. “ Hinata-san, i-it’s probably hard to believe me, especially after what I d-did, but… I really don’t mean any h-harm! It’s the truth, please, believe me…! “ She may have sounded desperate towards the end, but her gaze is filled with hope.
Tsumiki...
Hajime’s heart felt heavy as he listened to what she had to say. Gritting his teeth, he reminded himself he wasn’t back in that place. There was no trial or punishment, just the two of them in this empty hallway.
“It’s because I want to believe you that I will doubt your words.”
Hajime grabbed Tsumiki by her wrist and pulled her inside his room. Hummingbird Hotel’s walls were thin, but he still preferred having this conversation in an enclosed space. Once inside he let her go and closed the door behind him before turning to face her again.
“Explain it to me, what you did and why you did it.” Hajime didn’t allow anger to seep into his voice, but he probably wasn’t going to be able to keep that up for long with his emotions running high like this. “You had the Remembering Disease. What did you remember that we didn’t?”

Tut, tut, tut. It took a little more effort to fool Kokichi, you know? He knew the other knew just as much about himself as he did of Hajime. Therefore, it would take some time for either of them to gather the information about each other that they needed. Which was fine, really. Kokichi just had to make sure to gather the information faster than Hajime could.
“You don’t remember? Oh… senpai. I know that amount of alcohol is not enough to make you lose your way.” There was a snicker under Kokichi’s breath, as he made sure to time his comeback rather well.
“Unless my presence intoxicated you? In that case, you should just track me down and visit me~ You already are keeping me up late as it is.”
Damn. Seemed like Hajime had to do better if he wanted to get any actual information from not Stella. He was anything but experienced in lies and deceit so he would be having a hard time keeping up this act. Still, he was willing to keep trying if it meant he could learn something about his... whatever this person was to him
Hajime shook his head before he picked up the pace again. The sight of Hummingbird Hotel in the distance was a big relief. He couldn’t wait to be safely and warmly inside his room.
“Would you rather have me hang up the call? I don’t want to be keeping you up.” Of course, Hajime didn’t actually care about that, but he had to stay in character. “Hey babe, I don’t think I will be coming home tonight. Don’t worry your pretty little head too much about me. You can probably find me on some bench tomorrow morning.”

“You want us to have pet names now? Of the sheep who are in power?” Kokichi laughed at that, but he didn’t mind. If anything, using a fake name as such was much easier on him than something like Maki’s name. He licked his lips before he continued his trail of lies.
“Ne, ne, are you that interested in me?” He rolled over his bed and carefully ate another spoonful of ice cream. Maybe he ought to put it back in the freezer though, so he eventually got up and proceeded to do so. Tummy aches coming up, and all. Tragedy. “That’s a wild move of you, senpai. But I don’t mind indulging you, you know?”
His hands moved to place the dessert in the freezer and he simply continued, keeping the phone lovingly to his ear. “There’s nothing special about me, though? Finding you was a fortunate side effect from hacking into a certain database. To be honest, I didn’t even plan on this outcome. I had just planned to slip you some of my love potion instead.”
Kokichi slammed his hand on the blender he had been fiddling with much earlier, from way before this conversation started. A loud noise was created in the background as he was… mixing Doritos and cola. This was just a horror drink he was going to feed to someone tomorrow. Luckily that someone was not Hajime. An evil villain always had to be prepared for whoever, you know?
“And making love potions takes a certain amount of dedication, too, you know? I finally perfected my recipe. Did you know the recent mushrooms work really well to attract people? It’s true! There’s a purple one with green that’s just perfect for the job.” Was he talking about the Stellashroom? The one mushroom that apparently had no side effects whatsoever? Yes, he was.
“But enough about me. I know I don’t have to ask, but what are you up to now that you are calling with me? Are you enjoying yourself?” He could tell that Hajime had been walking, so he dared to ask; “When are you coming home?”
The things Stella was telling him over the phone, as well as the loud noises in the background, did little to soothe Hajime’s nerves. He unwittingly had started to walk even faster. There wasn’t a lot more he could handle until he would be running again.
“You’re not making any sense.” Hacking databases? Making love potions? How was Hajime to believe any of that to be true? “I’m calling you because I demand an explanation.”
Hajime froze at Stella’s last question. Being asked such a thing made him highly uncomfortable, even if he knew this was a prank and nothing more. This would have been a good time to hang up on Stella and Hajime would have if it hadn’t been for the idea which suddenly came to mind.
“How do I get home again? I might not be fully sober.”
The last part wasn’t a lie. He hadn’t consumed anything during his shift, but the fumes coming from the drinks he had been pouring all night were enough to make him slightly intoxicated.
If Hajime wanted to win this little game of theirs he had to start playing as well.
my neme, neme, oooo..

There’s a short silence in the air before he replies, but it’s long enough for her to become just a little nervous. Could he have forgotten about her? Does he hate her? These questions may not make sense, but if he did indeed hate and forget about her, she wouldn’t be too surprised ( everyone does, after all ). His calm voice snaps her out of her paranoid thoughts and she gives him her undivided attention.
Just as she’s about to reply, her expression becomes a very confused one followed by one of extreme worry. Why would he do that?! Her rising worry bring nervousness along on the ride, and she hurriedly spoke to him and tried to check his head for any injuries or bruises simultaneously.
“ H-Hinata-san, you can’t do that! Y-you’ll hurt yourself! “ After quickly confirming that there were no bruises, she speaks just as quickly as before. “ Do you n-not recognize me? I was right, you do hate me after all! I-I’ll just go away then… “
Hajime’s head was spinning. His rather ill-considered way of checking if he was still asleep was partly to blame for that. The other reason his head was hurting was a simple one: this couldn’t be real.
To have not one but two of his supposedly dead classmates appear before him in a short span of time only gave him more questions. ‘How?’ was a big question, but it was no less important than the question ‘Why?’. It had almost been a year since his arrival here at Stella City. If this place was somehow capable of resurrecting the dead then why was he starting to see these familiar faces again now?
“No, I... I remember you. You are Tsumiki.”
As for if Hajime hated her or not, he couldn’t say. His feelings towards her were complicated. On one hand, he was overjoyed to see her safe and well. On the other hand, she was the killer of Mioda and Saionji.
Hajime’s stomach dropped as he recalled Tsumiki’s confession at the end of the class trial that had led to her execution. The madness in her eyes as she had proudly claimed to have killed for love had kept him up for many nights. Fearing what he would see if he were to look her in the eye now, he avoided her gaze.
“To be able to answer you I need to ask you a question myself first.” There were a great many things Hajime wanted to ask Tsumiki, but if he wanted to make sense of all of this he had to take one step at a time. Depending on the answer Tsumiki had for him, his desire to search for the truth might die with him here. “..........Are you my friend?”

It was rare for Hajime to be up earlier than 10 in the morning nowadays. His sleeping schedule had changed quite a bit since he had become a bartender. Of course, that was to be expected when your job required you to work late hours.
What was surprising, however, was the fact that Hajime had woken up at 8 in the morning today. He had attempted to rest some more, but for some reason or another, he hadn’t been able to fall back asleep. Admitting his defeat, he had rolled out of bed and then hopped into the shower to start the day.
Feeling refreshed yet still a bit woozy after that shower, Hajime headed out of his room to get some breakfast. He had been mid-yawn when a familiar voice reached his ears. He turned to face his classmate but found himself unable to say anything for a few moments. When he did finally reply, he was calm and collected.
“Good morning,” Hajime replied while rubbing his eye. “It seems I’m not fully awake yet, so give me just a moment.”
He took one step closer to his door, placed both of his hands on it and then slammed his head against it. The pain he felt proved that he was awake, but at a great cost. Holding his head he growled something unintelligible. His eyes were wide in disbelief when he turned to face Tsumiki again.
“What’s going on here?!
She’s definitely not used to this place. At all. Her walking speed increases and decreases out of rhythm and her eyes flicker from the floor to the doors and walls in the long hallway of the hotel. Her jaw clenches more and more, her breath getting unconsciously stuck in her throat and her hands fidgeting in front of her torso. She just wants to make it to the restaurant and satiate her hunger for a healthy breakf—
“ Ah! “
The sound forces itself from her upon reaching the first floor of the building. A familiar face! Her heart races a little from the surprise and a small smile makes its way onto her lips. Every step filled with both relief and excitement, the female rapidly walks towards the male ( her friend? ) and politely greets him, like she remembers.
“ Good morning, Hinata-san…! “

There really wasn’t any timespan in which Fuyuhiko could’ve protested to being dragged along like he were a sack of potatoes or whatever. Hinata might’ve tried to be considerate in his running speed, too, but their size difference made it so Fuyuhiko had no time to protest there either since he was too busy trying not to be pulled over and slam face-first into the ground.
It wasn’t until Hinata had reached his goal - the rollercoaster - that Fuyuhiko could take a moment to try and combat his outburst.
“…”
Breathe in, breathe out. He’s doing his best here to not tear Hinata apart in the middle of an amusement park.
“Sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with you.”
That’s putting it mildly, actually. There’s a lot of times Hinata does or says things that Fuyuhiko just can’t figure out. It’s not… Necessarily a bad thing, but it’s still a thing, you know. He’s going to let it slide, as he does so often nowadays. He knows there’s no malicious intent, so… It’s fine.
“Just give me a fucking warning beforehand next time. If I’d fallen, you would not have made it through the day, let me assure you.”
At least they’re at the rollercoaster. If there’s any decent attraction to be found then it’s definitely the rollercoaster. The ones that go really fast are… Kinda fun, you know. He can’t help but try and take a look at the course of the rollercoaster, to see if there’s any loops in there. That’d be pretty cool.
Kuzuryuu was mad at him, Hajime could tell as much. He supposed Kuzuryuu’s anger was justified. Usually, it was Hajime who had to deal with being shoved from pillar to post by others, so he understood how Kuzuryuu felt. Even so, Hajime thought it was alright to push Kuzuryuu a little bit if it meant he could give him a good time.
“I will give you a warning next time. You didn’t fall so that means I get to live! Lucky me.”
The sheep behind the control panel got to work and a roller coaster car arrived at the station for them. Hajime jumped into one of the front seats as soon as the gates opened. There was a wide grin on his face as he pulled down the shoulder harness.
“This is going to be great.”

horseruler :
Oh? This person was so desperate to find out who was haunting him, but Kokichi wouldn’t allow him that pleasure. Knowing fully well that the one who asks the questions is the person who controls the conversation, Kokichi set out to ask Hajime many in return and to turn the tables to drop them both in a personal Hell he had customized for his victim.
“Heeeeeeh? You are that eager to learn about a girl? Just because I took some little interest in you? Tch, tch… such bold actions. Senpai, I really don’t know what to think of you anymore!” He was clearly having too much fun with this. “For the record: you called me. This could be considered as some kind of harassment, you know.”
Resisting a fit of giggles, Kokichi casually continued. “But you may call me… Maki-chan. My name’s Maki Harukawa.”
Hoping this action wouldn’t get him murdered later, Kokichi betted his life on an apology he would offer Maki later for this trouble.
Maki Harukawa... Hajime doubted that was the real name of whatever prankster he was on the phone with right now. The cool night air did help to calm Hajime down a bit before he continued the conversation.
“Sure, and my name is Aries. What do you need, Stella?”
As he spoke he started walking again. His stalker, or whomever this was, didn’t seem to be following him that moment, so he might as well try to get home before the clock would strike an unholy hour.
“What are you doing at this hour, babe?”
my neme, neme, oooo..
