sometimes i feel like i need to remind people that nahida is very childish in nature . she has so much wisdom but barley knows how to handle any of it because she hasn't had time to grow with it . her views on things around her are very immature for that reason.

not only that , but she's very manipulative and petty && she isn't against using others to get the information she needs. we see that in the AQ multiple times .

one of my biggest examples is my personal headcanon that in the current moment if war were to break out, she would just shut sumeru down. because no one came to save her so why should she help anyone else ? that view point may change over time as she goes out and explores and gets to know others && as she grows into her position as an archon but right now in the current timeline as it stands she's just not really ready to be a leader .

it's why i end up always making a point to mention that haitham && wanderer are her left and right hand men && she goes to them for advice because ... they're a little bit more knowledgeable about this && about humanity than she is .

tulip : how does your muse view people in general ?

nahida's view on people is , really dependent on the people . most people she views as okay , good . they don't seemingly want to hurt her and for her thats enough to assume that they are good natured - or at least good natured enough for her current standards .

she doesn't understand people though so it makes it really hard for her to get a view on them . she doesn't understand their emotions or why they do certain things and so sometimes her view of them can be a bit skewered .

poppy : what comforts your muse ?

being around people she trusts , just them being in the same room can sometimes bring a lot of comfort to her seeing as she really dislikes being alone . warm blankets and drinks , open spaces where she doesn't feel closed in . sometimes being held or carried around but only when it's very specific people .

oak : who would your muse consider the strongest person they know ?

that is a tie between the traveler and wanderer . they've both been through hardships yet continue forward - yes in very different ways but still . the traveler is only a journey to find their sibling and going through all these hardships along the way && yet they're still being helpful and kind to others

wanderer , while he may have not been kind and helpful still went through so much during his life && is now attempting to be better in one way or another . he's trying to change his life and grasp onto the freedom given to him .

so she finds both of them very strong people && dear friends as well .

ㅤㅤshe's soft spoken ,,, hands flexing as she attempts to get used to movement again . she's unsure for how long she had been sitting like that ,,, she's also unsure what had caused her to dissociate . shaking her head she sighs , turning her attention to him instead .

ㅤㅤ❛❛ i think ... i think , i'll be okay . it wasn't as bad as the usual ones i have . i just felt ,, numb for a while .. ? ❜❜ she's not sure if that explains it very well , but it's her best attempt .

ㅤㅤwith that said , she pushes herself to stand - swaying for a second before moving to sit right back down next to him . she tugs her knees up to her chest , resting her head on top of them .

ㅤㅤfor a little while her focus is kept on the light in front of her , weaving simple patterns before holding it up to get a better look . she hums softly and tilts her head , eyes glancing off towards the other room they shared a wall with . she's not sure what's being said , but she knows she'll get an earful when they return to sumeru later .

it seemed that wisdom did not encompass all things,  as the concept might suggest.  being all knowing meant little if one did not know how to utilize this knowledge.  the little god weaving light beside her appeared to be as innocuous as a lamb.  her curiosity suited her childlike appearance,  as did her careless questions of whatever topics her mind raced to. were all archons young once?  it seemed nahida’s presence brought out her own curious side.  

ignoring the squabbling that could be heard from the other room,  arlecchino straightened up in her seat.  “  when somebody asks you  ‘ whats up? ‘,  they are not literally asking you what is above you.  it’s a casual way of asking how somebody is or what they’re doing.  “
