Task 6: Object + Site
Final image of work:

Overall, I was very happy with the way this work turned out. by taking materials from the scrap boxes to nest these beautiful seeds became much more than me and Pheonix expected. We then realised that the work showed new life and the forever cycle of growth in nature. the seeds were a metaphor for new beginnings almost like an egg being the start of life. overall, I'm really happy with how the work turned out and believe the unconscious mind formed something much bigger than expected.
Sam Dougados The free man, (2017)
The free man's work follows the theme of Reuse very effectively in his works. Reusing the same beaches over and over again to create new designs and artworks that are washed away by the sea and are ecologically friendly.
Patricia Johanson Leonhardt Lagoon, (1985)
Patricia Johanson's work reused a run-down lagoon to revive it and create a beneficial site-specific work that was able to assist nature and create new habitats .

After building the materials we then made this nest with a platform for birds to rest on to match the site we are creating our work

Task 6: Object + Site

Pairing with a former student phoenix with the theme of re-use Looking in the scrap boxes to grab materials

After looking at the site we noticed all the seeds laying around the area… we then utilised them to match the theme of new life forms and the theme of the cycle of nature.

Task 5: Barrambin Site Design 'Sketch'
the final procreate work:

Vladimir Tatlin's the Monument to the Third International (1920)
The process of this work was created by a sketch similar to mine to work in its environment and to make sure its structure was able to survive in its site
Franz West Untitled (Orange) (2006)
this polyester sculpture merges both architecture and nature similar to my work.

Task 5: Barrambin Site Design 'Sketch'

I was heavily inspired by these sites so I decided to use them as the sites for my creative work

Both sketches made from the walk. I then decided to do sketch one since it seemed complementing and more connected with the theme of the site

Task 5: Barrambin Site Design

After walking around Barrambin, Victoria Park, I was heavily inspired by nature and the coexistence of both the animals of the park and humans. It dawned upon me how considerately builders and architects were able to design the pathways around the site while also allowing humans to be so close to the lakes and nests without causing discomfort and danger to the animals and habitats living there. Furthermore, as the landscape is Aboriginal land, I found that keeping it as a park and looking after the nature of the land instead of building over with large skyscrapers showed respect and understanding between all cultures even though it is so close to the city and such a large scale. Overall, I really enjoyed walking around the park as it made me understand the beauty of nature and inspired me to create works that support and capture its beauty too.

Task 4: Volume + Proportion + Site
Vo Trong Nghia Untitled (2016)
Vo Trong Nghia pavilion created from the same medium as my work describes bamboo as "the green steel of the 21st century". Make sure to utilise economically safe materials to create beautiful structures that hold plants.
Orly Genger Yellow (2013)
Orly Genger utilises lobster rope covered in yellow paint. Similar to my work, Yellow transforms regular park spaces to become part of an artwork. bright and colourful tones against natural plantations in large piles make a fenced-off-like work for audiences to admire and become aware of.

Task 4: Volume + Proportion + Site

after looking at the trees outside and thinking about how I could create my spacial artwork with the materials I have, I grabbed the materials of my choice thinking I could frame the tree to make it the main focus of the work.

Task 2- Plane + Balance + Site
Cornelia Konrads, bridge (2018)
The way in which this work visually confuses us with its illusion of falling inspired my work as it has a subjective approach to it. making audiences consider what the work is trying to present.
Olafur Eliasson, Silver orbs (2019)
when looking at the large silver orbs, I found that the similarity between my work and this work is the transformation of the structures depending on how you move around the work. the orbs have large mirrors and a reflective outside so wherever audiences view the work will never be the same based on its surroundings.

Task 2- Plane + Balance + Site

Overall, this whimsical work complements the site as its delicate form compliments the strong winds blowing through it and the shadows cast in each ribbon-like form.
