“You aren’t real good at listenin’ are you?” He stepped even closer, resting the barrel of the gun against her cheek. “ Unless you wanna be blown to kingdom freakin’ come. I would REALLY  advice you to listen to me. Alright sugar?”

“An’ I’d probably be more scared if you didn’ look li’e the fat one from the blues brothers..” Frankie snipes back, lips curling into a snarl as he took a step closer, “now fuck off, you ain’t robbin’ me, try yer luck elsewhere.”

“Nah. You got me mixed up with someone, kiddo. I’ve already done my time. Five years in prison. I’m a free man” Kinda “If you were smart, you’d run along and do whatever....Thirteen year olds do. “

“More along the lines of ‘bank robber all over the news, killed a few people to death,probably shouldn’t be roaming around anymore’,kind of deal?” ..Alright, Nova, since when do superheros have conversation with criminals like this?  “You could go along easily,or you know…not.” So he wasn’t used to working with or talking to non-super powered criminals…not HIS fault he was a little awkward about it.

The look on his face was almost insulted, Staring at Santanico he snorted. “Yeah. She’s alive, AND safe. The hell do you think I’d do? Drop her off somewhere and leave?” Well. It’s not like he hasn’t  thought about it. Leaving Kate with enough money and going. She was safe, but was she living the best life? No. Being forced into  doing jobs with Seth probably wasn’t all that good on her mind, or health.

“I hesitated because I don’t want you or Richard coming up and bothering her. She’s been through enough” We both have “She doesn’t need you two showing up and making her life more shitty”

   If this was how Seth was holding himself together, Santanico almost wished    Kate was back home. They’d both lost their siblings, they shared that middle    ground, but that had to be it.

   An eyebrow had risen up on her forehead as she watched him. He hesitated,   but was it because of her location or whether or not she was truly safe. Her   concern may have be misconstrued, but that’s all it sincerely was. Had she   lived a regular life, she might have turned out like her.

“You know” He began, tilting his head up some, before reaching and shoving his  into the middle of her wrist, pulling her hand away. “I can’t say I’m real flattered you’ve heard of me when you’re choking me. I ain’t into that, sorry sweetheart”

“Awww. Is that your hubby?” Seth asked, stepping closer to her before making a bit of a face, meeting her gaze again. “I’d probably be a little more scared than I am, if y’know....I understood fully what you just said”

                         Frankie considered her options for a moment, fiddling with her ring before looking up at the man, arms folding across her chest. “Go ahead…bu’ be prepared for the inevitable manhun’ an’ I mean hun’, our Fred won’ stop an’ when he finds you he’ll spli’ you from balls to brain - bes’ you jus’ walk away, love.”

“You might have. “ Seth replied before shrugging his shoulders. “I dunno what to tell you, I’m not gonna say sorry for drinking. I like drinking, and I’m a adult. ....And it’s my money I spend..So...” He shrugged again, before looking back over “You gonna tell me a name so I know who’s being an ass to me?”

“Alright. Listen Chucky.” Seth began,looking up at her and raising a brow. Glancing back down, he fiddled with his gun. “Let me say this again. I don’t have  time  to dick around with psycho’s. So. Move, or I’ll move you. Okay?”

“No, no, no.” Ginger was blocking the doorway now. Superiority was held in her eyes and smile. “You’re not going anywhere, handsome. I still wanna play.” A finger poked at his chest. “You’re not going anywhere till I’ve had my fill.” She cocked her head to the side with a snap. “Ya got it?”
