HOW TO SUPPORT FROMIS_: A GUIDE

Here is the ultimate guide to support fromis_9 ! I know that Glass Shoes is just a predebut song but we need to stream it as hard as possible, so it will rank high on charts and fromis_9 will gain recognition!

To make it easier, this guide will be seperated in several sections. Also, it’s possible that some of these advices doesn’t work on iOS or MAC so if it doesn’t work, tell me and i’ll indicate it :)

STREAM THE MV

Probably the first thing that you think about when you hear « support ». Streaming MVs is very important, but a lot of people don’t do it correctly so their efforts are useless :( Here is some methods tested and approved for you ! Don’t forget to stream on both Youtube on Naver ! I don’t know Naver’s criterias concerning streaming but i doubt that they are stricter than Youtube’s so use the same method.

1- The easiest and laziest

With this method you can stream 24/7 without being on your computer all the time !

You will need : An auto-refresh (extension on Google Chrome), an auto-cleaner (clean cookies etc… extension), an extension to watch automatically videos in HD

♡ Search « fromis_ …. » on youtube. When you stream, don’t click on a link but search manually « fromis_9 glass shoes. » in the search bar, it’s longer but the MV will rank higher in suggestions ! Also, don’t use a private tab as it may freeze the views which is highly problematic. ♡ Watch the MV in 720p or 1080p, without PAUSING, the sound of youtube must be at his maximum and the sound of your computer AT LEAST 50%. Don’t forget to put a thumb up ! ♡ Wait a little bit, something like 1 or 2 minutes just to make sure that your view have been counted. ♡ Set your auto-refresh to 5 minutes and use your auto-cleaner ♡ Log out of your youtube account (if you use your mobile, you will need to use youtube via google, not via the app). ♡ Then, you have the choice : - log in with an other youtube account and repeat steps 1 to 3 - you don’t have an other youtube account so log out of your account, repeat step 1 to 3

Finish ! Now you can do whatever you want, just don’t forget to use your auto-cleaner often or views will not count (personally i clean them every 15 minutes)

2- A little bit more complicated, takes a lot of time

This option is the best if you stream on a computer at your school or on your family desktop (or you’re just afraid to install extensions). If you use this option, congratulations ! You are very dedicated !

You will need : nothing, just a good internet connection

♡ Search « fromis_ …. » on youtube. When you stream, don’t click on a link but search manually « fromis_9 glass shoes. » in the search bar, it’s longer but the MV will rank higher in suggestions ! Also, don’t use a private tab as it may freeze the views which is highly problematic. ♡ Watch the MV in 720p or 1080p, without PAUSING, the sound of youtube must be at his maximum and the sound of your computer AT LEAST 50%. As you don’t have an extention to set automatically the quality in HD, make sure to verify each time that you stream the MV that your quality is in HD ! Don’t forget to put a thumb up ! ♡ Wait a little bit, something like 1 or 2 minutes just to make sure that your view have been counted. ♡ Close the tab, open a new one and clean manually your cookies etc… ♡ Log out of your youtube account (if you use your mobile, you will need to use youtube via google for now, not via the app). ♡ Then, you have the choice : - log in with an other youtube account and repeat steps 1 to 3 - you don’t have an other youtube account so log out of your account, repeat step 1 to 4

TIPS !

♡ If you stream all day (and all night) and that you don’t want to hear the song, use broken headphones ! Your computer and Youtube will detect them as « normal » headphones meanwhile you will not hear the music. ♡ Playlist can help, but you have to make sure to add several different videos on the same playlist or it will not count. You only can add a video once (so don’t add fromis_9’s mv several times in the same playlist). For example : 1 - Glass Shoes MV, 2-Glass Shoes performance at MAMA and then set the playlist on repeat and don’t forget to clean your cookies often ♡ Use several devices at the same time to stream

STREAM ON MELON

This step is important but complicated for international fans as everything is in korean and you must pay pass ! If you already have some pass, you can use them for fromis_9 or give them to a fromis_9 fansite if you don’t know how to stream on melon. If you don’t have pass and absolutely want to stream on melon, you can check the tutorials below but (i shouldn’t say this ) to be honest i recommand you to spend your money on other ways if you don’t know how to do.

BUY THE SONG

We ALL say to buy the song but who does it in reality ? Quite nobody. K2NBLOG is cool but it will not help fromis_. So if you have money and want to spend it for them, here is some advices !

The song will be available on several music platforms tomorrow (30/11) at 6pm KST. It will be probably on Melon and Itunes, and perhaps on spotify. The song will not cost too much as it is a single so I think that we all can buy it if we have a credit card and it will help them a lot! Itunes only count for international charts and we should focus on build their korean fanbase but as it is only a predebut song, it would be cool to promote them intl too (because we don’t have much options to promote them in korea).

SHARE THE MV ON SOCIAL MEDIAS

Don’t underestimate the power of social medias, they proved to be very useful to promote artists, and you don’t have to pay ;) Here is my tips to promote fromis_9 on social medias (again if you want to add something, tell me i’ll add it)

-Twitter :

♡ Share the link of the MV once or several times a day (you don’t need to spam your mutuals!), your followers could be interested and watch it ! Of course as I said before it’s better to search manually the MV on youtube’ search bar but you can’t force someone to do it so giving them the link is the best option.

♡ If you are in a groupchat, ask them kindly to watch it (no need to insist)

♡ If there’s confession accs or stuff like that in your language, post a confession asking to watch the mv with a kind message (you can play with their sensibility for example « please, this is fromis_9’s predebut mv, it’s a really good song and it would be cool if you watch their mv »)

♡ Use polls acc to promote them ! You can say something as simple as « Have you watched Fromis_ predebut MV ? 1- Yes i love it !, 2- Yes, i don’t like it, 3- No but i’ll watch it ». Some people don’t know them or that they are debuting so seeing this will encourage them to watch the mv as they will be curious. Don’t forget to give the link, some people may repost the mv which make them lost views so by giving the link you’re sure that their view will count

♡ Don’t post more than 45 seconds of the MV, the longer you post the less people will watch the MV

♡ Ask fanbases to watch the MV. We tried to make an alliance with YG stans, Once, EXO-L and Miracle, I don’t know if it worked but asking them is not a waste of time (don’t forget to say that … member loves … with proofs if you need… I’m sure EXO-L will LOVE Jiheon)

-Facebook :

♡ Share the Mv’s link To be honest i don’t think you can do a lot of things on Facebook to promote them :/

-Youtube :

♡ Don’t repost the MV ! If you see someone who did it, ask kindly to remove the video

♡ Keep the comment section nice and clean. Put a thumb up to comments which support them or give informations about them. Negative comments are useful as long as they are constructive and not hating on the girls. If you see an insulting comment or a negative comment which is just here to hating on them, don’t reply and report. You might want to defend our girls, but replying gives them attention and they might rank higher than positive comments.

♡ Ask « big » youtubers who do reactions videos to react about them. Explain who they are just in case, if we are a lot to request fromis_9 there’s chances that they will react about them and trust me, big youtubers can bring a LOT of views.

♡ Reblog posts which share fromis_9’s predebut mv and/or speak about it in a positive way
