"Dont go.." Your boyfriend muttered sleepily. You smiled softly, you could easily push his hand away but you don't. You lean back resting your head on the pillows.

"You actually listened?" He questioned slightly awake now, you'd usually refuse his antics and go to work anyways even though his pout would make you want to run back into his arms.

"I had to, no? Seeing you pout like that every morning is doing something to me." You say, slightly protesting but you don't mean it. Dokeyeom smiles softly to your response, a smile that reaches his eyes. Suddenly the suns rays don't seem so blinding anymore.

Spicy foods are something that you like to try out, even if your tolerance for it isn't great, you still enjoy the way the spice hits your taste bud, inflicting pain that turns pleasure from the other flavors along with it. Which is why you find yourself in your current situation, in your apartment, prepping for your weekly spicy food review that you later on write about and post on social media – a little something you find fun in. As you put the bowl of ramyun on the coffee table, sitting on the floor comfortably with the T.V. playing a random show, you rub your hands together in excitement. Grinning, you picked up the chopsticks and brought the noodles up to your mouth – already salivating from the smell, guessing just how spicy it was.

Another thing about you is that you are stubborn. Slurping the noodles, a hum left your lips as you chew on the noodles, lips spread wide as you relish in the pain and flavors, letting the spices hit your tongue. However, as you let everything sink in, you started to notice that the pain kept increasing to the point that your tongue actually stings more than you're used to. You continue on anyway, slurping noodles once again as you start sweating, some dripping down the sides of your face. You then gather the bowl in your hands and sips the soup, closing your eyes in pain as you continue on without a break.

Your eyes were now tearing up, mixing with the sweat that slid down your cheeks. Despite all of the pain and suffering you have put yourself through, you didn't stop. 'Maybe I should've checked the spice level first...' you thought, sniffing while you put the bowl down after sipping once again. Leaning back against the couch behind you, you let your head rest on the cushion, eyes closing. You feel just how puffy your face is, especially your lips from the onslaught of pain it received, as well as the tongue. You kind of wonder how up until now, your taste buds are still intact. Maybe after you recover from this, it'll officially be lost.

As you try to calm yourself, you don't hear the door to the apartment open. Only jumping from the shock that coursed through you after a familiar voice spoke.

"Are you okay?" your boyfriend, Seokmin, asked. Voice laced with worry along with his face. Looking up at him with a pained smile, you shoot him a thumbs up, not even bothering to speak. Just looking at you tells him enough, but upon landing his eyes on the coffee table, Seokmin confirms then and there what has caused his lover to be in such a state.

Endearingly shaking his head, he smiles back at you and moves to settle beside you "You seem to be in much more pain than usual." he notes, snuggling close to you as he puts an arm around your shoulder, pulling you closer to his side. Feeling you melt in his touch, he bought up his other hand to caress your cheek, now noting the puffy lips along with the little puffs of breath you release. He finds it adorable, ignoring the fact that you're literally suffering right now. Seokmin knows you like it though, it's just a little concerning how much you were whining and breathing heavily more than usual, he knows that the spice for this one was something you underestimated.

Lips pouting, Seokmin continues caressing your cheek as he coos "Too spicy for my baby?" he asks, gazing deep in your eyes. Your lips look so kissable.

Nodding with a whine, this causes him to chuckle, thinking of just how adorable you, his lover, is being "Want me to kiss it all better, hm?" he suggests, not caring if he'll be able to taste the flavors of the noodles by pressing his lips against yours. You seem to have thought about this as well because you were about to speak, but seeing the eager look on Seokmin's eyes, another sound slipped from your lips as you nodded once again.

With the approval, Seokmin leans close and softly slots his lips on top of yours. He keeps it gentle, settling with placing soft pecks on and around the lips to really feel the puffiness in them. Why he likes the condition of your lips are in, so much? He doesn't know.

Heat spreads on your cheeks, this time because of how gentle your boyfriend is handling you. Although kissing won't ease the pain that you're feeling, it definitely helps distract you that the pain was on the back of your mind. You kisses him back every time his lips are on yours, but mostly you just sit still with your face cradled in his hands, eyes now closed while your heart flutters rapidly from the affection.

Soon a smile spreads on your lips, the giddy feeling bubbling up and showing on your face, resulting in Seokmin smiling as well. This continues on until you open your eyes, hands moving to cradle your lover's face, gazing at him lovingly. You can feel your heart swell, just like the state of your cheeks is in.

Licking his lips, Seokmin grins "We should kiss more every time you eat. It adds to the flavor." this earned him a gentle slap on his cheek, making him laugh.

"That's disgusting!" you whined, despite doing it just now.

The two of you erupted in giggles after a while, continuing the slow, soft makeout session. The heat and pain you felt gradually subsiding as it goes on.

otaku — is a japanese word that describes people with consuming interests, particularly in anime, manga, video games, or computers

sunghoon was positive that he was unlovable. he was a video game otaku who slaved away at his nine to five job and had rarely felt the touch of a woman. that was until you came along, like a bright ray of sunshine moving into his cloudy life. you were very different from him, loud and obnoxious at times with a very outgoing personality. sunghoon claimed that you weren’t his type, but the lie was long forgotten when he looked at your beaming smile and bright eyes.

for some reason that sunghoon couldn’t comprehend, you were interested in him. you talked to him first and were the reason behind the man becoming a flustered mess. sunghoon tried to tell you that being interested in him was a bad idea, his relationships never worked out because of his workaholic attitude and obsession with his handheld gaming device.

“you too? my past boyfriends never understood my obsession with mangas and idols. but it seems like you would!” you said, your voice twinged with excitement. after that you had basically proposed the idea of dating for convenience and oddly, sunghoon agreed. maybe it was because he was just lonely and severely touched starved— or maybe it was because your stunning smile made sunghoon’s heart skip a beat or two. he supposed if the two of you were dating for convenience, it wouldn’t be crazy to actually fall for one and other…right? he was your ‘boyfriend’ after all, it only made sense.

sunghoon couldn’t help himself. you were so understanding and you could relate to his lifestyle unlike people he dated in the past. you also never left sunghoon alone, even when he was furiously smashing the buttons on the controller of his gaming console. you would casually sit behind the man, legs thrown over his as you read your manga.

“you comfy back there?” sunghoon spoke up, readjusting his glasses and clearing his throat. he hoped that you couldn’t feel how hard his heart was beating or the way his body had become hotter under your touch.

“yeah i’m good.” you mumbled, a slight smile on your lips as you nuzzled the side of your face into his back. your eyes never left your manga and sunghoon could tell that you were highly invested.

“did you need anything?” you asked, surprised that sunghoon even spoke. whenever he played his game, he went silent. the only sounds that emitted from his mouth were annoyed grunts and a slew of curses.

sunghoon sighed and turned off his game, detaching himself from you to put his controller away. you whined at the loss of contact which soon turned into a gasp when sunghoon practically pounced on top of you. he took the manga from you, the book seeming so tiny in his large hands when he snapped it shut.

“m’sorry i’ve been neglecting you.” sunghoon mumbled, his glasses slowly sliding down his face. you pushed them up with your finger, smiling at the way they slid down his nose again.

“you don’t have to apologize. we decided to date because we understand how each other operates, is that not correct?” you asked, surprised that sunghoon decided to apologize. you felt it was unnecessary, you were just happy that he allowed you to be in his presence.

“but i want to. you’re…different from other girls I’ve been with…in a good way of course. and for some reason, that makes me actually want to give you my attention.” sunghoon explained, the delivery of his words sounding extremely awkward. you giggled, finding it amusing how inexperienced he was when it came to relationships, but you appreciated his honesty anyway.

“if that’s your way of saying that you’re attracted to me— then I feel the same.” you said, reaching up to mess with sunghoon’s hair. he caught your hand mid air, bringing it back down to his lap before playing with your fingers.

“yeah um, i am positive that i’ve fallen for you. i know we only dated for convenience but, i really do like being in a relationship with you.” sunghoon confessed, avoiding eye contact with you. using your free hand, you grabbed his chin, turning the man’s face to look at yours.

“i really like being in a relationship with you too, hoon.” you replied, a small smile on your face. sunghoon was sure he would’ve combusted on the spot due to the way your nickname for him rolled so easily off your tongue. the man had never felt such emotions before and he was surprised by how much of a hold you had on him. he was sure that he would get down on his knees and beg for you— if you wanted him to jump, he would ask ‘how high?’.

sunghoon smiled, an actual real smile where you could see his adorable fangs. you hadn’t seen much of the expression before, but at that moment you concluded that it was your favorite thing in the world.

“can i kiss you, sunghoon?” you asked timidly, watching as the man’s eyes widened behind the frames of his glasses.

“yeah…yeah of course you can.” he answered, his heartbeat picking up the pace by a tenfold. you smiled at his nervousness, leaning over to place a hesitant kiss on his lips. before you could pull away, sunghoon grabbed the back of your head, holding you in place as he deepened the kiss and forced you to open your mouth a bit more. you let out a low whine, the sound going straight to sunghoon’s gut. he shivered against your body, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you into his lap.

“what are you doing to me?” sunghoon groaned once he pulled away, moving his face to hide in your neck. you chuckled and patted the top of his head.

“it’s just my charm. only a select few can see it so, congratulations! you’re special!” you explained, playfully tapping the man on his nose. he scrunched it up cutely, letting out a small chuckle at your enthusiasm.

“yeah, lucky me.” sunghoon mumbled, his voice monotone as ever. to most people, it may have sounded sarcastic and as if he didn’t actually mean it. but sunghoon’s lovesick eyes said otherwise…and you knew sunghoon better than most people.

There are a lot of things that Seokmin, your lover, enjoys doing with you. One of them is simply being in each others' presence as you two do your own thing. Although you're not at that point in life yet, it feels domestic enough that Seokmin feels his heart flutter every time he's reminded of it.

Like how it is now, the two of you are in your room, with Seokmin on your bed, fiddling with his phone while you sit in front of the vanity, makeup laid out messily as you practice putting on makeup.

The man on the bed has already seen you do this a few times and despite that, the same feelings still arise from him every single time. Putting down his phone and resting his cheek with his hands that are propped on the bed as he lays on his stomach, he can't help the affectionate sigh that escaped his lips.

Eyes turning glazed as he watches you closely, how you put color on your eyelids, like how you bring colors to his life. The way you carefully draw on eyeliner with so much focus, similar to when you handle him when he's at his lowest. Patting the brush against your cheeks gently to put on blush on it, parallel to the heat you bring on his own cheeks when you do the simplest things that get his heart racing.

Seokmin doesn’t even realize that you were staring at him from how much in a daze he was, only snapping out of it when you tap his nose with your brush, giggling as his eyes widened in shock "What got you in such a deep thought, Minnie?" you asked, feeling the heat on your cheeks upon recalling how you caught him looking at you so endearingly. If you weren't wearing makeup right now, you're sure that red will still decorate your cheeks.

Shy that he got caught, Seokmin lets out a chuckle as he averts his gaze, but he can't help the way his eyes find its way back to you "Well.. I'm just appreciating you." he said, biting his bottom lip to stop the smile coming when seeing the way your own eyes look away. 'Cute.'

"Stop it, you sap." you huffed, lips curled up as a giddy feeling settled right in your heart.

With a grin, your boyfriend sat up from his position and made his way to you. Standing behind your seated form, he wraps his arms around your figure as he bends his knees to match your height, looking at you through the large mirror "Nuh uh, my baby has to know how gorgeous they look~" he coos, pressing a kiss on your forehead.

"Ahh! You just wanna see me embarrassed." you pout, hold on to his arms around you, looking back at him.

"Is that so bad? To know that I'm the reason why you're so flustered?" he questions innocently, showing a pout of his own.

As you stay silent, Seokmin can see the gears in your head turning. Smiling softly, he places another kiss on the same spot he did before and whispers in your ear "You look so beautiful, baby. Good job on the makeup, you're improving." he compliments.

He doesn't understand how much the compliment affects you, so to let him know, you turned to him and held his hands. Squeezing them, you looked up at him with a smile "Thank you, Minnie. I really appreciate that." leaning in with closed eyes, you kiss him on the lips.

Seokmin isn't the only one who enjoys being in each others' presence, you enjoy them just as much as he does. Appreciating every moment you have with him as your love for him grows every second.

When you're in love, it feels like the colors that surround your everyday life become brighter, everything shines and you view things differently – positively. That's just how it is with Seokmin, a skip on his step as he makes his way to the cafe he buys his coffee from on his way to his morning classes, looking forward to seeing someone. A special person.

Opening the door to the cafe, the bell rang above him to announce his arrival. He didn’t walk straight to the table you occupy, instead walking over to the counter to buy his drink then making his way to where you sat – busy with the book you're reading that you didn't even notice him taking a seat across from you.

Seokmin sat there for a while, admiring how focused you are. From the cute frown of your eyebrows to the slight pout on your lips, he finds it endearing how immersed you are with your book. He could sit there and just stare for hours on end, but time is ticking.

“Hey, beautiful.” 

Your focus was shattered as you slightly jumped from the shock you felt, a very familiar, soothing voice greeting you. Peeking up from your book, the shock was changed into a gentle smile as you put down the book, hand now reaching up to hold Seokmin’s own hands.

Seokmin can’t help the shy smile that replaced the look full of admiration he held, cheeks heating up as he holds your hands back. “Better, now that I’m with you.” he cheesily says, showing you that smile of his that you love so much. Eyes disappearing as his smile shows off his teeth. You can't help but think of how adorable he is.

“Too bad I won’t be with you longer.” you teased. Being in different majors can be bothersome.

A pout makes its way to Seokmin's lips “Don’t be like that! I'm trying to be romantic here.” he huffed “I told you I'll see you when we both have free time later.”

Letting out a giggle, your hand reached up to squeeze his cheek “Ah! So adorable.” Putting your book inside your bag, you took your coffee and stood up, offering a hand to him “C’mon, you promised to walk me to my class before you go to yours. I don’t want you to be late.”

Taking your hand, he smiles and squeezed yours, leading you out of the cafe. Your time together today may be unpredictable, he is certain of the life he wants to spend with you.

I think Gunwook would be one of the members that enjoys you sitting on his lap alot. I've talked about his weakness for size difference before so whenever he notices how small you actually are while sitting on his lap he just goes CRAZY.

I feel like in your relationship it wouldn't be often but not THAT rare for you to sit on his lap. Most of the time he is the one to ask/move you onto his lap.

So when you decided to be the bolder one and sit on his lap out of nowhere as he was talking about a song he was writing, he just became a flustered mess. His natural blushy cheeks became even redder and he began stuttering all over his words.

He would hide his face in the crook of your neck as you snickered at him, whining at you for teasing him. He'd have his hands around your waist, pulling you even closer to him before resting his chin on your shoulder and listening to whatever you were talking about in the moment (but tbh he's only thinking about how pretty you look on his lap so don't even try to ask him if he remembers what you talked about).
