(Okay here is the rp we talked about in the dms. It is not canon to what has happened so far, but it can still involve cheesecake if you want to. TW: pricked finger and some blood drawn.)
Dr. Two Brains wiped his brow as he took a break from his latest invention. He looked up, bleary eyed at the clock on the walls in his lair, 5:55 am. Two Brains sighed in exhaustion, he spent another long, sleepless night working on his newest gadget and it was taking a toll on his already messed up sleeping habits. His Henchmen had expressed concerned when he started sleeping in late most of these days. He appreciated that his henchmen were concerned about him, but he had to get this particular gadget done in time. 'It's the only way I can find Mr. Charming and help Wordgirl put an end to this guy. If she wanted too.' Two Brains quietly scolded himself for thinking that. He didn't blame the kid for being confused and hesitant on stopping Mr. Charming now, even he wasn't sure himself if he should end the guy. It was so easy at first hating this new threat that came to terrorize everyone in Fair City. Mr. Charming had no qualms about who he hurt or blew up, he seemed to have a particular vendetta against him and the rest of the villains, but not Wordgirl, never her. It didn't make sense to anyone at the time why Mr. Charming was so hesitant to fight Wordgirl when he was more than eager to set the whole town and everyone in it on fire and watch them burn. It only made sense later when Two Brains removed his mask at the clock tower Mr. Charming was about to blow up. Even then, Mr. Charming's reveal made less sense then his mysterious persona before his mask fell off. It turned out that Mr. Charming looked and sounded exactly like the old Professor Steven Boxleitner. 'But how was that possible?' Two Brains continuously asked himself. He was Steven Boxleitner, or he used to be before the accident. But his feelings toward Squeaky and Two Brains, his intelligence and technological skills, his attitude towards Wordgirl, those were all characteristics of Steven Boxleitner. The other Steven even claimed he was somehow separated from his prisoners and tormentors and now had the chance to exact his revenge on all who failed to save him and let him rot in his mindscape, and Dr. Two Brains was at the top of his hit list. Two Brains had no idea what he was talking about or how it was possible his Steven half was ever separated from him. Did the accident cause some long term side effects, did his other self separate without him even knowing. Dr. Two Brains would have thought his other self might have been a clone, but their are too many factors of Mr. Charming that clones don't have. Two Brains rubbed his eyes trying to heal the pounding headache he was giving himself with all of these questions. He just hoped his new invention would give him and everyone else some answers. Since Mr. Charming must have some type of hideout to store his weapons or recuperate from a battle, Two Brains built a unique type of teleportation device that would allow him to locate Mr. Charming's lair and hopefully learn more about this vindictive duplicate. Dr. Two Brains gave a look over of his invention before deciding to give it a preliminary test run. He walked over to a section of the ray and pressed a button. The button opened a lid that contained a small space that was designed to store DNA. Two Brains personally designed that feature to help put an exact location on Mr. Charming. Since this villain was technically him. The DNA scanner in this teleportation ray would scan his DNA and find the other person in Fair City or near the area with an exact (or close to exact) match.
"Let's hope this works." Two Brains said to himself. He pricked his finger and squeezed out a few droplets of blood into the space. He closed the box then turned on the ray. The ray seemed to fire up well and sounded to be in working order. But as it begun to fire a beam, good old Murphy's law kicked in. The ray started to spark and light up like a christmas tree. Two Brains yelped and jumped back when a few sparks flew towards his direction. He just barely avoided getting electrocuted again. "Maybe I shouldn't have used those plutonium charges." Two Brains said in hindsight. Soon the machine grew brighter and hotter. Fearing an incoming explosion. Two Brains jumped away and ducked behind the couch. A loud boom sounded and a bright flash came from the other side of the couch, then silence. Two Brains opened his eyes a bit and waited a few moments. Sensing that the danger had passed, he slowly got up and peered over his couch. He could see the teleportation ray now a pile of melted metal and plaster. But to his surprise was the two new inhabitants in his lair now passed out a few feet from his damaged ray.
They definitely weren't the ones he was hoping for. Dr.Two-Brains hesitantly took a step closer to get a better look at the two. A damaged ray he could easily repair and handle. Yet this new unexpected turn of events left him rather frustrated. Not only did his plan not work it brought him two unwanted guests. A frown spread across his face as he got a better look at the two. His heart felt as if it stopped once he realized what he was seeing. WordGirl? She seemed different. A soft gasp of horror escaped from him once he realized why. White hair tipped him off, he didn't need to see the other side of her head to put the pieces together. That was rather upsetting to see. His attention was soon on the other inhabitant that he still didn't know who it was. Whoever it was, they were dressed in a costume similar to WordGirls signature wardrobe.
Dr.Two-Brains stood there, wondering what exactly he should do. If he moved them he could potentially wake them up while placing them somewhere else, he didn't know if they'd wake up disoriented and would attack in confusion. So moving them was definitely out. For now the mad scientist decided that he could just get a couple of spare blankets and put it on them. He disappeared for a few minutes before coming back with two blankets. Placing one on each of them.
Now what else could he do about this unexpected situation? It would be unwise to leave them unsupervised in his laboratory. So he could just stay with them until something was figured out. That would have to wait until they wake from their unexpected slumber. This just added to his feeling of uneasiness. First he had to deal with Mr. Charming now he had to deal with this. How could being a mad scientist villain be so stressful?
Dr.Two-Brains broke out his thoughts and started to clean up the mess his failed experiment caused. He would just have to make necessary adjustments to avoid this problem in the future. He'd call in his henchmen but they were on their day off and this would just cause them to worry about him all over again.
A tiny smile managed to work its way onto his expression, thinking about those two. They've become a small messed up family. Even though he does lose his temper and gets abit mean from time to time, they've never left him. They were always loyal to him and for that he was grateful. One of the nice things he had going on.
It took awhile to clean everything up, pieces of ray everywhere. The melted bits were harder to clean up but it wasn't anything he hadn't dealt with before. Plenty of failed rays could back that up. While in the midst of cleaning up the last bit of mess, he hadn't noticed that one of them had began to wake up. Too focused on the task at hand.

Wordmans Ballad
🎵What have I done?
My little hero
This horrible nightmare has begun
Plans have gone right down to zero
It haunts me so
Screams so bloodcurdling
Soul crushing guilt you'll never know
Anguish coming hurtling
Where did you go?
Please come back
My heart aches ever so
Why must you attack?
My little hero
What have I done?🎵

Mousebraingirl Au Episode 1: Of Pies and Lies - Part 2
As soon has they were far away enough and out of sight, Steven transformed into his heroic alter ego, Wordman, and Bob became Captain Huggy Face, Wordman's monkey sidekick. Huggy held on tight as Wordman flew upward then straight towards downtown. Wordman and Huggy began to scan the ground from the skies, searching for any sign of the boy genius or his robots. Wordman soon spotted a small cluster of robots gathered around Tobey who was standing on top of a building. "There he is Huggy." Wordman exclaimed as he pointed towards the boy's location, letting his sidekick no where Tobey was. Huggy nodded in confirmation with a chatter. "Let's go." Wordman said with determination as the two heroes swooped down.
Meanwhile Tobey is apparently playing a game with his robots which results in causing mindless destruction to the city. Tobey though does not care about that issue right now. "Alright now it's time for the long jump. Those who want to participate come forward." Tobey stated in a jovial tone. Three of his robots all came together in a single line, standing side to side, facing away from the boy genius but getting ready to participate in the game. Tobey smiled gleefully. "Good. Number 3, your first." Tobey then pressed a button on his remote. Number 3's red bulb eyes flashed as it then bent it's legs and leaped forward. The robot jumped high into the air and landed a good distance away on a street, creating a crater where paved cement was once laid. The robot stumbled slightly on the landing and wobbled a bit as it got up from the rubble. Tobey made a faux sympathy wince at the robot's actions. "Excellent distance and form, but I have to take off points for that shoddy landing." The robot bowed its head in shame before heading back in a moping motion to it's fellow robots. "Alright whose next?" Tobey announced. Just as he was about to press another button, a blurry gust of wind startled the boy and temporarily obscured his vision. The next thing Tobey knew his robots bodies were mangled up junkyard scraps and their heads...well their heads were clutched in the hand of one very irate male superhero known to Fair City as Wordman. Tobey gulped a bit. Wordman may only be a fairly new hero, but he had the intimidating villain tactics down pat. Tobey attempted to reclaim a sense of calm despite how nervous he felt under Wordman's intense gaze. "Ahh Wordman, hello there." Tobey waved a bit, trying to be formal. The hero said nothing as he landed right in front of the boy, causing Tobey to stumble a bit back due to Wordman's intimidating height and facial expression. Wordman released the robot's heads as Huggy jumped off of his back and landed at his side. "What frivolous task are you trying to accomplish here Tobey by sending your robots to cause havoc in the city through childish games?" Wordman asked Tobey in a demanding tone as he crossed his arms. Tobey frowned angrily at Wordman's description, making it seem like Tobey was using his robots to cause destruction for no reason other than child selfishness. Greatly insulted by Wordman's accusations, Tobey retorted back. "I am merely showing the people of this city the genius and prowess of my homemade robots." The boy genius stated with pride. His facial expression shifted as his eyes glanced sheepishly to the side and a slight red blush appeared in his cheeks. "Also to help impress a certain villainess by showing her my charm and skills." Tobey mumbled to himself, not wanting the adult hero to hear his romantic intentions for his schemes. Unfortunately for poor Tobey, Wordman did catch what the boy mumbled, or at least parts of his speech. "What." Wordman exclaimed in a demanding, almost parental tone of voice. "Nothing, it's nothing." Tobey exclaimed quickly, trying to cover up his personal thoughts. It always perplexed Tobey and other villains why the man was so defensive over Mousebraingirl, though any of their inquiries are met with pain and or a death glare. It was best not to ask they why in this case. Wordman's expression softened but a stern glare still did not leave the hero's face. "Tobey, I already took down your robots with ease, how about we do ourselves both a favor and you go home before I cart you off to jail for destruction of public property." Wordman stated in an annoyed tone as he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration with this whole situation. Tobey surprisingly smirked at Wordman's threat/request. "Oh Wordman, you really think I start causing destruction in this city with only Three robots." Tobey exclaimed in an arrogant tone. He immediately pressed another button on his remote control and seemingly out of nowhere, a large mass of giants appeared and loomed over the three on the building.

Mousebraingirl Au Episode 1: Of Pies and Lies - Part 1
(Disclaimer: Wordgirl and it's characters belong to PBS at Soup 2 Nuts. Dr. James Jenkins is an oc made by my friend Eris. The name Wordman and the Mousebraingirl au are mine.)
Steven Boxleitner never took to gardening before as much as a hobby. He never had a dislike of it per say, he just never had the time with his schedule to do it. Now if you asked Steven a while back if he wanted to try it with some others, Steven would have been normally hesitant being with a new crowd of people but would later end up eagerly getting involved and having a lot of fun with the activity. But now, Steven would view something like gardening as a frivolous activity now worth his time. Unfortunately for Steven today, his neighbor Tim Botsford did not share Steven's sentiment's about gardening.
"I'm telling you Steven, there is nothing like gardening to help you relax and relieve you from stress." Tim stated joyfully as he dug a small, linear, ditch in front of his rosebushes. "Uh huh." Steven absentmindedly replied, tuning out his neighbor's enjoyment over just digging in the dirt and planting flora that will just wither one day. Honestly Steven had better things to do today which centered around trying to figure a way to safely remove the mouse brain from Becky's head. Unfortunately Tim, in all his stubborn, overly cheerful, and annoying persistence, according to Steven, decided that his neighbor should spend this sunny day outdoors relaxing rather than having to work in a stuffy basement. Tim had also offered Mouse to join them but Mouse appeared very disinterested rather opting for one of her books and some cheese. Steven had also turned on the television for her to watch Pretty Princess as well before being led, "dragged" in Steven's mind, out to his neighbor's yard. Steven didn't want his daughter to come and start digging holes in the yard again. Tim then picked up a fertilizer bag he brought with him so he and his neighbor friend, and Bob who tagged along, could help their plants grow beautifully and brighten up the block. Tim examined the text printed on the bag as if he were reading a contract. "Enormogrow, it will help plants grow enormous. huh. Hey Steven, how much of this should I use for the plants?" Tim asked his science friend. Steven rolled his eyes. "Just pour the amount you think the plants need." Steven groaned annoyed as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. He wanted to get done as soon as possible and not waste another minute with this dumb outdoors activity. Tim did not note his tone of voice and gave Steven a thumbs up. "Righty-ho." Tim responded as he poured the whole bag onto the flowers. A sudden tremor startled the two men and monkey as a giant, monstrous flower sprouted out of Tim's rosebush and towered over the three. Steven tensed, ready to try and escape with Tim and Bob before the monster flower could attack. Bob seemed to get ready to act as a distraction for Steven in Tim as the monkey prepared to fight the creature off with the shears he was using earlier to trim the bushes. Before the giant flower could lunge, a robotic foot appeared and squished the monster along with the bushes flat as pancakes. Just avoiding harm to the three individuals. "Holy anchovies and pineapple!" Tim exclaimed in surprise and shock, a feeling that Steven and Bob also shared. The giant robot whose foot crushed the monster earlier stared at them temporarily before walking away. Steven followed the robot's direction and saw it was walking towards the downtown area of Fair City. "Tobey." Steven grumbled with an angry scowl. It looked like Tobey was causing trouble again with his giant robots. Steven's ire for the kid ignited as he recalled his last encounter with the twerp. Steven looked toward Bob with a determined expression that was shared by the monkey. "Come on Bob." Steven said to the monkey as the two began to follow the robot. "Hey where are you going?" Tim called out causing to the two to freeze. Steven turned around towards Tim and tried to come up with an excuse so he and Bob could head off to transform without creating suspicion. "Well as a scientist it is part of my job to follow giant robots and observe what they do." Steven lied, giving a fake grin. Tim luckily bought the lie as he gave a smile in response. "Okay then." Tim said. Steven clapped his hands together. "Great. Um can you do me a favor and keep an eye on Mouse while I'm gone?" Steven requested. Tim nodded. "Can do buddy." he agreed. "Thanks." Steven said quickly as he headed off to transform into Wordman. "Don't let Mouse dig any holes to the Earth's core!" Steven yelled before disappeared from Tim's sight. Tim then looked down at his yard with a frown. "Darn it, I forgot to bring my watering can from the shed."

Next gen meets mbgau rp Steven was happily whistling to himself as he was carrying the laundry basket upstairs. He liked to enjoy doing the simple, mundane, tasks of everyday life. It was something he valued and felt as a reprieve to his chaotic and suffering past. As Steven passed the bedroom of his eldest child Chase, his ears caught the sound of verbal grunting and shouting. Steven paused, a confused and worried expression now plastered on his once serene face. He stopped whistling to try and hear what was going on. "Stupid...dumb...no way...Augh! Son of a..." was all that Steven could make out. The man clearly recognized his son's voice. Steven knocked on the door gently but also with some firmness. "Chase is everything okay?" Steven called out. There was silence and faint sounds of shuffling before the door opened. Steven looked up to see his 18 year old son Chase who now was even taller than his father due to his alien genetics. Steven took mental note how puberty also affected his son's physical appearance somewhat as Chase now exhibited some of...Alex's features. Steven internally shook his head. He did not want to go on that emotional tangent right now. By the look on his son's face, Chase was clearly frustrated and upset about something, though due to his inherited Boxleitner stubbornness, it didn't seem like he was ready to come clean about his issues yet. "Oh hey dad. Uh yeah everything is fine just working on something." Chase admitted to his father. "Oh what are you working on?" Steven genuinely asked. He wondered if it had to do anything with Chase leaving for college soon. Once again, Chase seemed hesitant to give a straight answer, opting to scratch the back of his head. After a few moments of silence Chase finally opened up. "Well actually I might need some advice for something. Since I'm 18 now, I decided to change my hero name since Amazo Lad won't fit anymore. Could you help me with that dad?" Chase hesitantly asked his father. Steven beamed. "Of course I can help you son. I'm sure we can find a new hero name for you." Steven replied. He set down the laundry basket and followed his son to his desk. Steven could see there were a lot of pieces of paper tossed about. Some were crumpled, some had a lot of pencil scratches on them. Steven could tell his son had put a lot of effort into this name change. "So do you have any ideas for what you want to be called yet?" Steven asked Chase.
"that's the tough part...I don't want to let go of the name fully." Chase admits. It's was painful to guess why. Infact Steven knew exactly why. He placed a hand on his son's shoulder giving him a comforting squeeze. Steven thought for a moment. "Well we can think of something similar to Amazo..." Not Amazo guy. But Amazo something... He thought.
Something that was still connected to the roots whilst being it own thing.
He held his chin as he pondered. Walking deeper into the room.
"will tell you what we can take this and try pairing it up with some qualities about yourself. " He picked up a few of his son's crumpled up failed attempts to take a look over at them.
