I wonder if Dale Cooper always knew he was doomed. Maybe he realized as a kid that he wasn’t going to have a normal life, that one day he would be called towards something unfathomable, and he’d forfeit his future to find it. I wonder if all of those little gifts to himself, all of the moments of joyful indulgence, were preparation for the inevitable. I wonder if Dale Cooper realized that if he ever wanted to see beyond his fear of what was coming for him, he would have to fill his life with every ounce of love he could squeeze from it.

Hands down one of my favourite Twin Peaks scenes is when Cooper is walking through the woods, and Harry is lowkey making fun of him telling Coop to "Watch your step there, City Boy"

Now I'm picturing anytime Coop struggles with some Twin Peaks related peculiarities, or just the local flora and fauna Harry is standing there laughing and calling him City Boy
