Adjusting the AT-LP60 Turntable
A friend recently gifted me an Audio-Technica AT-LP60 turntable, and I found myself needing to adjust the speed for 33.3rpm records - the calibration at the time was coming out to about 34.6rpm (as measured by the RPM app), and records were playing at a noticeably higher tempo.
There wasn't much information out there on these things, so here's my experience.
Adjusting the belt
This bit is pretty standard for a belt-drive turntable. There's an inner lip under the platter that the belt runs around, and a spindle that the belt wraps around, which drives the belt. This YouTube video is a good primer on what the insides of a belt-drive looks like:

Before making any other adjustments, you'll want to make sure that your belt is in good order. You can confirm that your belt is connected properly to the motor by inspecting the spindle. The belt should rest in the notch of the spindle, like so:
If everything looks good, you can move onto the next part, adjusting the motor speed.
Adjusting the motor speed
Directly below the spindle and motor, on the underside of the turntable, there are two holes, labeled 33 and 45. These are the adjustment ports!
They're protected by rubber sheath things (presumably to protect the motor), which initially made me think I was breaking something. I used a 1.4mm flathead screwdriver from my Tarvol precision screwdriver set (the 2mm one was too big) to access the adjuster.
Other places (including Audio-Technica) say there's screws inside the sheath. My 1.4mm screwdriver stuck inside the adjuster, against gravity, so I'm fairly sure it was more than just a screw... I think they're actually some type of notch potentiometer knob, like you'd find on a guitar pickup:

These things were really sensitive - I think I reached both ends of the adjustment range, it was about 20 degrees of turning between the ends.
I sat the turntable on the edge of my table, instead of turning it upside down, and cued a record I knew well so I could tune the speed by ear. It took about 10 minutes to get it right, but the RPM app was reading 33.3 on the nose once I was finished.
Hopefully this helped someone with an AT-LP60.
Cheers!
