learning about death as a child is stressful, but it's a natural thing, you calm down soon. learning about violent death is a little scary. learning about unpunishable violent death will never make you calm down again. political murder, shooting protesters, bombings, it takes your whole life and throws it out of the window. why would you ever think that people you see every day in your cultural landscape, you cultural area, will lie down in puddles of blood? i barely remember this first feeling because it was 10 years ago

My mom's university was damaged by russian attack, my friends' universities were damaged by russian attacks, and this night my university was damaged by russian attack.

I'm glad that none of the buildings were destroyed, but man... Attacks on Ukrainian education (and all other aspects of life) just never stop.

As of now, russians killed 7 people this night, the rescue operations are still ongoing. They took many innocent lives and destroyed a lot of infrastructure over past weeks. People's homes are gone.

ukraine has wiped out 7 billion dollars of russian nuclear bombers in one day. this is what i mean when i say even at the most cynical reason to support ukraine russia's military power and sphere of influence can be undermined with such ease if allied nations would just pull finger and hand over whatever outdated equipment is in inventory.

the bombers struck make up a large portion of russia's nuclear triad. now instead of being able to ensure a nuclear strike by land, air or sea its now much more feasible for russian nukes to be interdicted. many of the airframes are no longer in production so they are in effect irreplaceable. now when russia threatens to nuke the west every other month we can point and laugh at the piles of ashes that was their strategic fleet

we should be supporting ukraine because its the right thing to do but that is rarely the modus operandi of geopolitics. at the very least it proves if russia is going to keep threatening the world with nuclear hellfire, their toys will get taken away.

i know we want to rub it all in everyone's face but after the non-response the world had to the destruction of mariupol three years ago nothing russia does will result in more support for ukraine. only our own persistence and resistance

hey guys! i understand that i've been mostly known as an artist here, but some positive changes have happened to me during the past few months. that includes returning to one of my old passions—writing.

so, as you might assume, i want to share with you my very first finished work that absolutely wouldn't be the same without my dear coauthor, @doctahchang, and that wouldn't exist in the first place if it wasn't for his immense support.
