Okay, hear me out... about Satoru not being a precure

Disclaimer:

There is no real evidence or leak that there's a 5th yet. There are merchandise hinting a "hidden, 5th orange design" which lines up with Satoru's / Daifuku's color scheme, but ultimately we don't know what the design is, and how niko-sama is going to contribute to the story (being the power-up mascot or simply the 5th etc. etc.)

Okay here's my thought (copium):

What if Satoru is willingly being the brain and the backstage support for Precure. He's obviously not a sports person, and is an introvert. In the beginning of the season, he admitted his heart for genuinely wanting to help is really same as a Precure, convincing Me-me to let him join the crew. But! He did not become a precure.

Not saying introverts cannot be precure, but maybe Satoru is just more comfortable being the support for the girls who are in the frontline.

Maybe there could be a final push which he or Daifuku becomes one in the end.

But as much as I want them to be precure, maybe it's more in-character if they don't... And that's my copium for today.

The second ending has basically confirmed to me there will be no 5th unless I am completely wrong and they have a completely different version of the ending

Instead of sussy things we can pick up like Suite Precure or Sky Precure

They are completely symmetric with no space for a new member oops

I am seeing gossips of "Cure Together" in the jp forums. It came from a possible bait / troll who claimed it to be a real leak when the show hadn't even aired yet (mid Feb).

I will just leave the name out here for hopeful individuals and theory crafters LOL
