PERCUTIAN MUSIM SEJUK 2009

Part 3

Pada musim sejuk tahun 2009 itu, Jijah telah mempelawa Khairy untuk menyertai percutiannya bersama dua lagi teman rapatnya, Qistina dan Ziana. Mereka bertiga telah merancang percutian untuk menjelajah beberapa negara di sekitar benua eropah. Disebabkan mereka hanya bertiga, Jijah mencadangkan supaya Khairy turut serta. Qistina dan Ziana pada mulanya ingin membantah disebabkan tanggapan mereka terhadap Khairy. Namun terpaksa menurut jua atas sebab terdesak.

Separuh dari teman-teman mereka telah merancang untuk menjelajah benua disekitar eropah yang lain. Jadual nampaknya terlalu padat. Disebabkan itu, Jijah,Qistina dan Ziana merancang perjalanan sendiri. Mereka hanya ingin meneroka Negara Sepanyol, Itali dan Poland untuk waktu yang suntuk itu.

Khairy tidak membantah untuk turut serta dalam jelajah eropah itu. Disebabkan bimbang keselamatan tiga orang rakannya tadi. Tanpa rasa janggal Khairy akan membiasakan diri untuk bercuti bersama tiga lagi rakan perempuannya itu. Persiapan untuk perjalanan menjelajah dibincang bersama dan mereka sepakat untuk menghabiskan sekurang-kurangnya dua hari bagi setiap tempat yang dilawati.

Sungguhpun tanggapan mereka terhadap Khairy pada mulanya tidak begitu baik. Pengalaman percutian yang mereka ikuti bersama ini telah membuka mata mereka tentang diri Khairy. Terutama Qistina yang sangat kagum dengan ketegasan Khairy dalam tangungjawab melaksankan solat. Dalam diam, Qistina mula terpaut pada cara Khairy dan ketegasan dalam menunaikan hak-hak Allah menyebabkan hati Qistina terusik.

Khairy juga banyak berkongsi gadget dan lagu yang dia bawa bersama sepanjang percutian di eropah. Termasuk gadget terbarunya yang merupakan PSP-2000 yang boleh memuatkan video musik dalam bentuk MP4. Jadi video-video lagu terbaru terutama dari Katy Perry turut dimuatkan ke dalam peranti itu.

Semasa berada di Rom, Italy. Ini adalah kali pertama Qistina mengenali Khairy secara lebih dekat. Khairy sangat mementingkan kebersihan dan menjaga solat walau apa pun keadaan. Dia selalu menasihati tiga orang kawannya itu untuk tidak meninggalkan solat walau dalam apa jua keadaan dan memilih untuk bersolat sebelum meninggalkan hotel atau bilik penginapan mereka. Qistina sendiri pernah bermimpi mengenai Khairy semasa mereka berada di Rom. Raut wajah Qistina mula menampakkan perubahan, mulai menyukai watak Khairy.

Perjalanan mereka di Rom, kemudiannya diteruskan ke Venice. Disana kelihatan suasana yang sangat indah. Melihat perwatakan Khairy, Qistina seringkali mengidamkan seorang teman yang sedikit sebanyak boleh menjadi pemimpin dalam hidupnya. Dia telah berniat untuk menjadi seorang isteri yang solehah pada masa akan datang.

Selepas ke Venice, mereka ke Barcelona Sepanyol. Mereka memilih untuk tinggal di asrama awam dan seolah menimba pengalaman baru menetap di negara orang. Di sini juga mereka berempat membuka akaun Facebook dan memuat naik gambar-gambar hasil tangkapan perjalanan mereka. Terjadi satu episod yang menggelikan hati di sini, mereka ingin menggunakan dobi untuk mencuci pakaian yang sudah dipakai sebelum ini. Disebabkan mesin dobi boleh memuatkan muatan yang banyak, mereka berempat membasuh pakaian bersama. Tanpa memberitahu Khairy sebelum membasuh pakaian mereka, Qistina sebenarnya dating bulan dan telah bocor mengotori seluar jeans yang dipakainya. Selepas pakaian telah siap kering dan boleh dia ambil, barulah Qistina dan Ziana memberitahu Khairy akan perkara itu. Khairy agak terkejut tetapi dengan berseloroh dia menjawab ‘ habislah aku sudah kena jampi ‘ , sambil tertawa bertiga.

Sebelum memulakan perjalanan ke Madrid dari Bacelona, Khairy duduk disebelah Qistina dan sengaja mengajaknya mendengar lagu yang dimuat turun ke dalam PSP nya tu. Mereka berkongsi ‘earphone Panasonic’. Pada masa itu, Ziana dan Jijah pergi mencari tandas di stesyen bas Barcelona. Khairy menunjukkan video klip kegemarannya dari Katy Perry ‘I kissed a girl’. Setelah tamat video tersebut, Qistina meminta untuk memainkan lagu Katy Perry ‘Thinking of you’. Mereka dengar bersama sehingga tamat. Dalam benak fikiran Khairy, Qistina merindui teman lelakinya di Malaysia . Kelihatan pandagan Qistina ke luar tingkap bas. Dalam mata Khairy, Qistina sememangnya ayu. Khairy memandang sambal menoleh ke kiri dari sebelah kanan Qistina. Hatinya terusik.

Tiket bas sebelum ini dibeli oleh Khairy dan Jijah. Semasa proses pembelian, terjadi salah faham, tiket yang sepatutnya dibeli untuk empat orang sebenarnya hanya untuk berdua. Perkara ini tidak disedari mereka berempat. Tetapi sepanjang perjalanan ada beberapa penumpang yang bertanya nombor tempat duduk, tetapi disebabkan bas tidak penuh, ia tidak menjadi masalah. Setelah tiba di Madrid. Mereka menetap di sebuah hotel. Sambal merehatkan badan, mereka mengutarakan kejadian di dalam bas berkenaan tiket tadi. Berasa sangsi , mereka mengamati, tiket ini sebenarnya hanya untuk dua orang penumpang sahaja. Mereka berempat ketawa berdekah-dekah.

Bandar Madrid sememangnya mengkagumkan. Tetapi sayangnya masa mereka tidak begitu lama di sana, Mereka sempat meluang masa menonton perlawanan Real Madrid menentang Real Sociedad, dengan keputusan Real Madrid menang 3-0 keatas Real Sociedad. Ketika ini pemain handalan Real Madrid merupakan seorang pemain sayap kiri dari Negara Belanda ‘ Arjen Roben’ .

Khairy bukanlah setampan teman lelaki Qistina yang berada di Malaysia. Bagi Qistina, dia terpikat disebabkan hatinya yang tegas dengan perintah Allah. Tapi Qistina menyembunyikan perasaannya itu. Khairy sebenarnya sudah merasakan yang Qistina menunjukkan minat padanya. Pada mulanya Khairy hanya membalas dengan senyuman juga. Qistina nampak sangat berseri sepanjang percutian jelajah eropah ini.

Part 2

Sambung Belajar

Khairy memutuskan untuk menyambung bidang biokimia di KUKTEM, Qistina pula cuba untuk dapatkan tempat untuk menyambung pelajaran dalam bidang perubatan di universiti tempatan, namun tidak menepati mata yang diperlukan. Dia menerima tawaran untuk menyambung pelajaran dalam bidang yang sama di Indonesia (Universitas Gajahmada) dan juga tawaran ke Crimea State Medical University , Ukraine. Dia memilih untuk ke Ukraine.

Pada masa yang sama, Khairy telah mendapat informasi dari makciknya yang mengajar di University Putra Malaysia, berkenaan peluang untuk ke Crimea Medical State University dan peluang untuk mendapat pembiayaan dari Majlis Amanah Rakyah dalama bidang perubatan. Khairy tidak membuang masa dalam memilih untuk meneruskan pelajaran ke Ukraine. Suatu impian untuk bermain salji berlegar di benak fikirannya.

Pada bulan September 2004, Khairy terbang ke Ukraine bagi merealisasikan impian untuk menjadi seorang doctor. Qistina pada masa yang sama masih membuat persiapan sebelum terbang ke Ukraine.

Mereka berdua sebenarnya belum mengenali antara satu sama lain. Dengan erti kata lain, mereka masih lagi belum bersemuka.

Sebelum memulakan sesi pembelajaran di Ukraine, semua pelajar dikehendaki untuk melakukan pemeriksaan kesihatan bagi mengelakkan penularan penyakit berjangkit di kalangan para pelajar.

Sesi orientasi dan pemeriksaan dilakukan di sekitar universiti tersebut. Terdapat beberapa ‘check-point’ yang perlu dilawati oleh semua pelajar sebelum kelas bermula.

Sekali lagi Khairy terpaku apabila ternampak gadis tinggi lampai memakai ‘sweater’ Kolej Matrikulasinya dahulu. Tanpa segan silu dia menyapa si pemakai ‘sweater’. Tersentak dengan teguran itu, gadis tersebut menafikan kepunyaan ‘sweater’ terbabit, dia menuding kepada si pemilik baju tersebut. Terlihat kelibat Qistina duduk ditangga bersama rakan-rakan barunya. Dia tidak putus dengan senyuman. Pada waktu ini, Khairy faham yang baju itu kepunyaan Qistina.

Untuk beberapa tahun selepas itu, mereka belum lagi menjadi rapat. Qistina pula sudah mempunyai kekasih hati di Malaysia. Manakala Khairy pula, belum serius dalam perhubungan.

Qistina mempunyai teman rapat senegeri dengannya, Jijah yang tinggal di blok lain. Mereka selalu meluangkan masa bersama setiap hari minggu. Jijah merupakan rakan sekelas Khairy. Isu mereka sering didengari oleh Qistina. Khairy digambarkan sebagai seorang yang kasanova. Isu kemuncak Khairy dan Jijah berlaku pada tahun 2006, dimana pergaduhan besar antara mereka berdua menyebabkan Jijah tidak mahu bertegur sapa dengan Khairy.

Qistina, seperti rakan-rakan Jijah yang lain sangat membenci sikap Khairy yang dikatakan suka mempermainkan perasaan perempuan dan sentiasa menyakiti perasaan Jijah. Walaupun pada ketika ini sebenarnya Qistina tidak mengenali hati budi Khairy langsung. Justeru melabelkan Khairy atas dasar kata-kata orang sekeliling.

Masa berlalu, hubungan Khairy dan Jijah semakin baik. Teman tetapi mesra pada tanggapan Khairy, kerana dia masih tidak serius dalam hubungan mereka berdua kerana Jijah merupakan seorang yang beremosi dan kurang menghormati Khairy.

Part 1

Saat Pertemuan

Setelah melalui sebulan kehidupan di Kolej Matrikulasi , Khairy yang pada mulanya mendapat jurusan fizik telah memohoon untuk bertukar ke jurusan biologi kerana meminati bidang biokimia untuk menyambung ke peringkat ijazah sarjana muda nanti. Bermula dengan pertukaran itu dia mula mengenali ramai rakan dari kumpulan jurusan biologi. Rangkuman kenalannya jadi meluas disebabkan dia pernah menyertai kumpulan jurusan fizik.

Suatu hari yang agak terik, selepas kuliah biologi berakhir, Khairy bergegas turun dari dewan kuliah untuk membeli air di kiosk berdekatan. Terpandang sekilas susuk tubuh seorg gadis tinggi lampai berwajah ayu, memaku pandangannya sekejap. Dia pelajar jurusan akaun dari dewan kuliah berhampiran, sedang membeli bekalan untuk ke kelas seterusnya. Khairy hanya memandang gadis itu berlalu pergi tanpa menegurnya pada waktu itu. Gadis itu jalan bersama rakan baiknya yang dikenali sebagai Qistina, dari kuliah biologi 6 . Khairy pula dari kuliah biologi 5.

Ketika ini, Khairy masih belum mengenali Qistina, dia hanya berminat untuk berkenalan dengan gadis tinggi lampai tersebut. Jadi kisah mereka terhenti di situ. Selepas beberapa minggu berlalu, Khairy terserempak sekali lagi dgn gadis tersebut, Bella, nama gadis tinggi lampai itu. Qistina juga kelihatan jalan bersama Bella. Kali ini Khairy sempat bertegur sapa pada Bella, Qistina hanya senyum di tepi.

Mereka berjaya menghabiskan pelajaran di Kolej Matrikulasi dan mendapat keputusan yang agak baik. Di antara mereka bertiga, sebenarnya Qistina lebih bijak dan mendapat keputusan peperiksaan yang lebih baik.

‘DIA CINTA AWAL DAN AKHIR’

Prelog

Sisipan bunyi motosikal dari kejauhan kedengaran merentasi jambatan batu dihadapan rumahnya. Khairy berlari merapati sisip tingkap dan mengintai siapakah gerangan penunggang motosikal yang tiba.

Sekilas riang raut wajah Khairy mendapati surat disampaikan adalah milikya dari Jabatan Pelajaran Tinggi. Di sebalik sampul surat yang bertulis ‘SULIT’ . Melompat girang tanpa ragu dia berlari ke dalam rumahnya untuk membaca perkhabaran gembira itu.

Tawaran menyambung pelajaran ke Kolej Matrikulasi di sebuah negeri di utara Malaysia menjadikan hari itu penuh bermakna buatnya. Berita gembira itu disampaikan kepada ibu dan ayahnya dengan girang.

Di suatu negeri yang jauh nun di sebelah timur Malaysia,Qistina, seorang pelajar dari keluarga yang berada juga telah mendapat tawaran ke Kolej Matrikulasi yang sama.

Tanpa dirancang takdir menemukan mereka suatu hari di matrikulasi tersebut sekadar bibit-bibit perkenalan awal antara mereka.

Kisah mereka berdua tersusun panjang penuh dengan suka duka antara keduanya. Dari sekadar kawan bertukar kepada kekasih dan seterusnya bergelar suami isteri. Kisah mereka terlalu padat dengan isu semasa yang telah dilalui oleh ramai pasangan yang bercinta.

tHe sEcoNd oPeRaTioN

As time passes by, its already more than 1 year and a half since I undergone my 2nd operation (ACL recon), the details of the operation can be found on any orthopedic websites under sports medicine. The mode of anesthesia I choose is Spinal Anesthesia, as its being said, painless over 6 to 8 hrs post operation and has a very good outcome. But i also took S/C morphine on the first night post operation, due to very high pain score (7/10).

Worry not, the healing process is not as fast as i imagine, but hard work and non stop praying for the best outcome is most helpful. I manage to wean off the weight bearing crutches by 1st month post operation. Weekly physiotherapist visit is essential and daily physical training is most needed to regrow the atrophy muscles of my thigh and knee. Despite that, cold/ice compressed also helpful in term of temporary pain killer alternatives.

After 3 months of rest from work, finally I restarted back to go to work on 4th Jan 2018. How I have missed my work so much. And yeah, no more pain from my op site. 

There are few reasons why I decided for operation (ACL recon). I worked in the air conditioned environment and mostly the temperature is around 17-18 degree Celsius, after few hours in that kind of environment, my knee will feel pain and some kind of knee locking would appear or disturbing my mobility. I was diagnosed with ACL tear grade 4 by MRI taken on July 2017 and I went for operation only on 5th October 2017. How did I get the injuries? Oh well, I was not an active person per SE but that year however, I joined few futsals tournament for 3 consecutive months, the last month (April 2017) tournament, I was tackled by the opponent from inner side of my left leg.

Thats how it happen, the pain was unimaginable but the saddest part is to think cannot play these sports anymore. Even though they did not see any tears coming out from my eyes, but be certain i cried it out loud in my heart.

9 months later, I entered another tournament and won a cup (football tournament). So my advice to those who suffer the same injuries like mine, please proceed with the operation early, be strict and discipline with your physiotherapy routine and don't be afraid to start back your sport as early as you could ( get advice from your surgeon guys!! because different people have different degree of injuries and healing capabilities ).

mY FiRsT oPeRatioN (near death probably)

January 2005;Crimea Ukraine(when it was belong to Ukraine) it is starting to snow again that day ; to be exact it is on Friday afternoon;when we had our last day of class prior of short winter break (1 week time), my friend a.k.a my classmate having small potlucks, we all have to cook some dishes and we shares together for the diner. that is when it happen. i did not know i cannot tolerate any more ‘sambal’ which is super spicy, which in turn already causing harm to my GIT system.

late that night i suffered terrible stomachaches, associated with nausea, vomiting( until only water left to be thrown out) ,diarrhea (also until only water came out)-yeewwwww gross!!! i had fever and headache also, maybe due to the loss of water from my body through these series of projectiles episodes of diarrhea and vomiting.

my classmates and few friends came to visit me, they suspected i am having acute appendicitis however cannot differentiate with food poisoning, so treat it as symptomatically until we seek further help from hospital the next day.

it does not stop that night though, after nothing to throw out already, i finally able to sleep, yeah literally, because it is clear to me that i do not have energy anymore to get up.the next day i wake up as usual, but seriously dehydrated, with no appetite, drinking clear water for my breakfast and i started to feel painful over my abdomen, it cramped!! shit!i cannot move around due to this severe pain.

an ambulance was called upon. the medical team came on and have a check up on me, they diagnose me with perforated appendicitis, with urgent rush they pushed me onto the stretcher and send me to the hospital. i am no more with energy and failing to catch up what happen to me.

luckily i have had my insurance policy together with me, proceeded with open appendectomy on the day of my hospital admission. they took high risk consent from my classmate due to my last meal less than 2 hours.

the operation successfully done that day, what i remembered is the time i was send to the operation theater, that time they pushed me on the wheelchair, wearing only my underwear cover with the blanket.

the moment i closed my eyes when i was put on the operation table, i only heard a few words before i fall asleep, and the moment i got up from sleep is after extubation i guess, i did not feel anything abnormal that time only a brief of memory of having good sleep.

i was sent to general ward. and i did not realize how i have been reacting under the after effect of general anesthesia wake up later on, when they gonna serve me the analgesic and antibiotic treatment.

that when i realize the operation is really painful. it is really  pain that i do not know how to describe it. i got several shots on my buttocks for painkiller.

every time everyday the surgeon will come and see me and asking me how am i doing post operatively, i do not understand the situation fully that time, our language is really different and i was just about 6 months in Ukraine, how the hell am i gonna understand it fully.

everyday i am asking the surgeon when i can be discharge back to my colleague, my friends, i want to start study for my exam and i am really worried. after 7 days warded, i got discharged from the hospital.

recovery took a lot from me, but yeah, after more than 10 years, i write it here. i don't want to forget that. it is one of the most challenging experiences that i go through in my life. i wish i could write everything down. but it gonna take so much time. in here some occasion i skipped, because i feel i can recall it when i read this story again. i hope my next operation also will gone well.

p/s ; next operation is tomorrow. oh God please gimme strength and health and speedy recovery. thank you Lord for giving me this opportunities.

I failed to shine again The tournament end up we lost at the group stage Out of 4 matches...we won once (that was the last game in the group against the strongest team in the group-last year winner) But we knock them 2-0( they played against others n scored 4-0 each game-we manage to give dem some punch!) Previous matches we lost 1-0...too bad...

pheww…today..(suppose for exact wording is tonite)…after 2 years break from entering futsal tournament…i am goin to participate again…but not in the same team as 2 years ago…what is the result after 2 years not entering any tournament?i am wondering can i score dis time? can i do like this =>

Now is 2015, m at 30 y.o edy... N m goin to enter another futsal event...never imagine my current team will b facing my ex uni mate(jarul)..we r in da same grouping n will face each other...it's been so long since we played together...will I b able to prove him m improve a lot since the past 5 years?

29 jan 2014 this was the day (@hosp batu pahat) when i learned those practice(@hosp muar) regarding GA machine checked really a must before starting any case which required intubation or laryngeal mask. How would you know when suddenly the o2 piping supply from hosp main o2 tank finished? That was not supposed to happen! But was happening on that nite. I cant believe it too. I was a tag MO for ot call that nite when this tragedy happened(i left the anest team for 8 months for ENT after migrating back to batu pahat before joining back anest in jan 15 2014) After intubating the pt i went to discharge another pt in recovery bay(this is when the senior mo @wan nur aida) take over the pt in the OT. I was a bout to give the pt(at recovery bay) analgesic when i saw my senior are struggling to ventilate the pt.

Hooray..Chelsea Out from Champions League....

Chelsea were knocked out of the Champions League by a magnificent Inter performance, capped off by a superb display by Wesley Sneijder and a 78th minute winner from Samuel Eto'o. The main team news came from the visitors, with Jose Mourinho starting all three of his available attackers Samuel Eto’o, Diego Milito and Goran Pandev, with Sneijder in close proximity. For Chelsea, Ross Turnbull was given the nod in goal as expected.

Inter created the first half-chance in the opening moments. Maicon squared the ball for Esteban Cambiasso, whose shot from 20 yards cannoned off a defender and landed for Samuel Eto’o, but his decision to take a touch before attempting to shoot was a costly one and he was dispossessed.

Florent Malouda tried to claim a penalty for Chelsea soon after as he advanced through the centre, but after knocking the ball past Lucio, the Frenchman had run straight into the Brazilian defender.

Daylight Saving Time (DST)

Daylight Saving Time (DST) is a widely used system which adjusts the official local time forward from the official standard time during summer months, usually by one hour.

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 changed the start and end dates of Daylight Saving Time in the United States. As of 2007, DST begins on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November. The United States Department of Energy (DOE) is required to study the impact of this DST extension, and the United States Congress has retained the right to revert back to the previous DST schedule if it cannot be shown that there are significant energy savings.

In the United States, the law which governs the use of Daylight Saving Time, is known as the Uniform Time Act of 1966. This Act provided a standard for establishing the dates when DST begins and ends in the U.S., while allowing local exemptions from its observance. States that wanted to be exempt from DST could pass a law exempting the entire state. The states of Arizona and Hawaii do not observe DST. However, the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona does. In addition, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands do not observe DST.

Approximately 70 countries observe DST.

Starting in 2007, daylight time begins in the United States on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November. On the second Sunday in March, clocks are set ahead one hour at 2:00 a.m. local standard time, which becomes 3:00 a.m. local daylight time. On the first Sunday in November, clocks are set back one hour at 2:00 a.m. local daylight time, which becomes 1:00 a.m. local standard time. These dates were established by Congress in the Energy Policy Act of 2005, Pub. L. no. 109-58, 119 Stat 594 (2005).

Not all places in the U.S. observe daylight time. In particular, Hawaii and most of Arizona do not use it. Indiana adopted its use beginning in 2006.

History of Daylight Time in the U.S.

Although standard time in time zones was instituted in the U.S. and Canada by the railroads in 1883, it was not established in U.S. law until the Act of March 19, 1918, sometimes called the Standard Time Act. The act also established daylight saving time, a contentious idea then. Daylight saving time was repealed in 1919, but standard time in time zones remained in law. Daylight time became a local matter. It was re-established nationally early in World War II, and was continuously observed from 9 February 1942 to 30 September 1945. After the war its use varied among states and localities. The Uniform Time Act of 1966 provided standardization in the dates of beginning and end of daylight time in the U.S. but allowed for local exemptions from its observance. The act provided that daylight time begin on the last Sunday in April and end on the last Sunday in October, with the changeover to occur at 2 a.m. local time.

During the "energy crisis" years, Congress enacted earlier starting dates for daylight time. In 1974, daylight time began on 6 January and in 1975 it began on 23 February. After those two years the starting date reverted back to the last Sunday in April. In 1986, a law was passed that shifted the starting date of daylight time to the first Sunday in April, beginning in 1987. The ending date of daylight time was not subject to such changes, and remained the last Sunday in October. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 changed both the starting and ending dates. Beginning in 2007, daylight time starts on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November.

pheww...today..(suppose for exact wording is tonite)...after 2 years break from entering futsal tournament...i am goin to participate again...but not in the same team as 2 years ago...what is the result after 2 years not entering any tournament?i am wondering can i score dis time? can i do like this =>
