mercury in the houses

hey guys, in this post i'm trying something new :) i'm spending more time creating a post with all the houses instead of splitting it into two parts for your convenience. it'll take longer to get posts like this out though so be patient please!

note: i got terminated for a week so i'm reposting this post so more people will be able to see it :) -it was made right before i got terminated-

description: 🍵 you are seen as an intellectual! people see you as a very capable person when it comes to communicating with others. you might tend to have some virgo qualities like organisation. you are a very curious person and enjoy solving puzzles and mysteries by using reason and logic. a very quick mind. you have a 'cat-like' curiosity and you must know everything. information is important to you and without it you feel lost and restless. you project a smart, put together image onto the world. you may become fidgety, anxious and nervous easily. your manner and appearance will have a mercurial touch. if mercury receives positive aspects, with little interference, you will appear young even when you get to your old age. you are adaptable. very witty. can be seen as diplomatic. you are charismatic and tend to have a positive mindset unless other placements in your chart suggest otherwise. you could possibly have a noticeable voice. people, like your loved ones, will probably tell you to be quiet often. i believe that ,unless mercury is in a more introverted sign or receives negative aspects, you are prone to talking LOTS (especially if you have your first house in gemini).

introduction: 🍵 mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes and analytical abilities. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the second house represents what you find valuable, how you pamper yourself, finances and material possessions. the second house is ruled by venus and taurus. description: 🍵 you value communication and knowledge. for example, when it comes to your personal relationships you require a good amount of communication in order for the partnership to work. there is a good chance you have a pleasant voice since the second house represents the throat. this could also manifest in being very verbal similarly to having mercury in the first house. like mentioned above, you also value knowledge and information. perhaps the way you make money will be related to these things. you could use your intellect to accumulate wealth. you are usually smart when it comes to money and handling your own finances. speaking in general is a strength of yours. you are pleasant to listen to and when you speak its quite soothing. you are very logical and don't see the need to dig deep into something when the answer is right in front of you. you are very persuasive when it comes to business and also diplomatic. great negotiator. you are witty.

introduction: 🍵 mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes and analytical abilities. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the third house represents your communication style, your siblings, intelligence and how you perceive information. the third house is ruled by mercury and gemini. description: 🍵 wooow! having mercury in your third house is a powerful placement since mercury is at home here. you are a great communicator and your intellectual abilities are enhanced. you should find it easy to express what is on your mind. you might have a virgo or gemini-affected sibling. or maybe your sibling/s have mercury in their first house. you probably like to read books or enjoy to write stories yourself. you like being social and talking to people. learning new things spikes your interest. its kind of like you want a library ,full to the brim with information, in your mind so you can access that knowledge whenever you please. you tend to be good at teaching others new things as well. you might regularly take on more than you can handle and burn yourself out. gossiping may be a habit of yours since its new information. if you do find yourself gossiping a lot maybe slow down, take a few breathes and change the topic. it can become an unhealthy habit. similarly to the first house, you may get nervous and anxious easily. but enough with that negative stuff. i'm not trying to boost your ego or anything but you are most likely a god when it comes to simply getting your message across.

introduction: 🍵 mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes and analytical abilities. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the fourth house represents your family, roots, how you nurture others, your mother, home environment and things that are hidden from the rest of the world that you know about yourself. the fourth house is ruled by the moon and cancer. description: 🍵 okay i'm sorry..but i bet you really love reading. i know i'm making an assumption here and other things can change this in your natal chart but like..it makes so much sense to me. there is a good chance you are interested in history and you have the capability to be a very good researcher of somebody's family history and a historian in general. you like the idea of discovering more things about the present moment through the past. the idea of being homeschooled probably sounds good to you. without a certain amount of knowledge and education you are , possibly, going to feel uncomfortable and saddened. your emotional state depends on the amount of knowledge you hold. your mother might have a strong mercury influence or have some of her personal planets in gemini or virgo. (also a stellium in the third house could be possible for your mother) your relatives are probably quite smart and you and your family may enjoy having interesting discussions about certain topics you guys find cool. you could be the one holding your family together and making sure you are still in contact with everybody.

introduction: 🍵 mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes and analytical abilities. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the fifth house represents how you enjoy yourself, fun, children, romance (short-term things like dates, not marriage) and your hobbies. the fifth house is ruled by the sun and leo. description: 🍵 you are probably very creative and expressive when it comes to the things mercury represents as a whole. you find ways to spice up conversations on dates and in romantic settings, you also find ways to create a fun learning environment for people (especially children). i believe this placement makes for great teachers. if you have children/are thinking about having them they might possibly be affected by mercury in some way whether that be gemini/virgo personal planets or mercury in a prominent house in their chart. if you are having fun you will feel mentally stimulated (vice versa as well) hobbies of yours may consist of things that involve problem-solving like puzzles. the more i think about it the more i am convincing myself that you and others with this placement may really enjoy escape rooms since you are using your smarts while having a good time. you are social and enjoy sharing your ideas. i am going to circle back to the point i made above about you being very creative. using art to communicate a message is something that you can use your creativity for. you're very innovative as well. you may come across as playful and childish unless other aspects and placements in your chart say otherwise. for example having mercury in capricorn, in the fifth house, will tone that down a bit.

mercury in the 6th house

introduction: 🍵 mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes and analytical abilities. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the sixth house represents your daily routine, health, wellbeing, work and your duties. the sixth house is ruled by mercury and virgo. description: 🍵 when anything appears in the sixth house i believe that it will be quite apparent in your day-to-day life. you may communicate lots as part of your occupation or just in general. if you aren't the type to start tons of conversations that doesn't really matter because communication will still apparent in your routine! (maybe somebody else is starting the conversations etc) you are usually very hardworking. you tend to have a very analytic approach to things. being organised feels good to you. the sixth house is not only the house of routines, health etc, but also karma. mercury is a karmic planet for you. perhaps in a past life you spread false information around knowingly and now mercury is presenting itself in this lifetime with your negative karma. the same, of course, goes for positive karma as well. or maybe you were an unorganised, messy person in your past life and this is your wake up call. you approach things practically and are usually a logical individual. you are a p e r f e c t i o n i s t at heart. you are even more of a perfectionist if your mercury falls into virgo. if that is the case damn. if a pencil is not perfectly in-line on a desk will you instinctively go to straighten it? please let me know i need answers

mercury in the 7th house

introduction: �� mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes and analytical abilities. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the seventh house represents marriage, partnerships, what qualities others see in you (apart from the first and tenth house) and in general 'the other'. the seventh house is ruled by venus and libra. description: 🍵 its important that any long-term relationships you have been in/will get into included/or include good communication. you find that people who are smarter than average and know their stuff draw you in. for long-term, successful partnerships in your life you will ,more than likely, need some type of persistent communication. this is more specifically for long-term romantic relationships that lead into marriage. your future spouse may be affected by mercury but please don't read into this too much since your whole chart has so many hidden indications. this is a good placement for dealing with others ,especially when it comes to business, and it can also help with negotiating. in general you are usually a great communicator. others see you as a witty, intelligent person. you could potentially look at your marriage or just partnerships in your life as a puzzle that needs figuring out. occasionally remind yourself not to overthink about certain people and try to 'solve' them. for some fun, leave a few people in your life as a little bit of a mystery ;)

mercury in the 8th house

introduction: 🍵 mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes and analytical abilities. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the eighth house represents the unknown, transformation, mysteries, occult sciences, how you behave when engaging in sexual activities and death AND birth. the eighth house is ruled by pluto and scorpio. description: 🍵 the way you speak intrigues people. you are fascinated by 'the unsolved'. in my opinion this placement gives off massive detective vibes. you need to know everything about everyone. not as in basic gossip but as in knowledge-based power for your own benefit. the best part is you are very good at this. you read people well. you might have a hard time trusting others. im not too sure if i should be telling you this..but you have good potential for manipulating people. as mentioned above, you like information about other people but you don't necessarily like people knowing things about you. you tend to be a very private person with a poker face when it comes to emotions. again, you are great at reading others but its rare that somebody can read you. please open up to your loved ones. i know that people with this placement may find it hard to actually open up and become emotionally available. similarly to mercury in the seventh house, you feel the urge to 'figure' people out. the difference between this placement and the seventh house placement is that you won't let a mystery rest. another difference is that long-term partnerships is not the only thing that you feel obliged to 'solving' but basically anybody and any relationship.

introduction: 🍵 mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes and analytical abilities. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the ninth house represents travelling, foreign things, spirituality, knowledge/wisdom, writing, perspective and journeys. the ninth house is ruled by jupiter and sagittarius. description: 🍵 you may find it quite easy to learn new languages. by quite easily i mean very easily. you would make an excellent translator/interpreter. you have a natural talent for communicating with foreigners. if you travel overseas you may find that doing something like asking for directions is easy for you even if you don't speak that particular language. also, being somebody who speaks about spirituality and teaches others about higher education is something you should consider if that aligns with what you want to do in your life. others might see you as a very philosophical human being. i read an observation recently that said that individuals with jupiter in retrograde ,in their natal charts, may dislike school. judging by people i know this is true. (i don't remember the account but if you know the person who said that let me know and i'll give them their credits) the reason i mention this is because the ninth house is related to jupiter and sagittarius. if your mercury is in your ninth house, in retrograde, there could be a chance that you dislike school in some way or another as well. in my opinion the ninth house is related to your school and your school environment. (places of gaining knowledge) your peers at school might have viewed/view you as a smart and intellectual person.

mercury in the 10th house

introduction: 🍵 mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes and analytical abilities. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the tenth house represents your reputation, your public image, occupation, how work colleagues see you, the vibe you put out and what you are willing to dedicate time to. the tenth house is ruled by saturn and capricorn. description: 🍵 you know what to say in business situations. you have this sort of witty charm that gets you out of even the worst scenarios. regarding your career, you need movement. you will easily get bored and lose motivation if you aren't on the move and socialising. you usually need to be mentally stimulated in order to be at ease within your work environment. short-distance travelling could be apart of your occupation. i know somebody with this placement and they play a video game where 'trading items' is a big feature. they are very good at working their way up the ladder in the game and enjoy doing so. when it comes to your reputation you don't want to be seen as 'dumb' or 'stupid'. you want to be recognised for your smarts and more than likely will be. your career might require you to communicate with lots of people which is a great opportunity for you to network since you'll be very good at that/are already good at that. your colleagues may see you as the person who 'carries the team' since you work quite hard and show dedication. your father could potentially have a mercury affect in his natal chart since the tenth house relates to the father figure in your life. people take your words seriously and they have more weight behind them. i believe that this placement is probably present in multiple politicians' charts since being a politician is a job that involves lots of talking and persuading. you are silver-tongued. (which basically means that you are great with language)

mercury in the 11th house

introduction: 🍵 mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes and analytical abilities. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the eleventh house represents your friends, large groups of people, how you behave in society, your ambitions and your good fortune. the eleventh house is ruled by uranus and aquarius.

description: 🍵 this is a fun placement! you have an inquisitive nature. you probably have maaany social circles (or will have more in the future). you are 100% the social butterfly amongst your peers. although you may have lots of friends and acquaintances these connections could be shallow. the thing is you move around so quickly and create so many new friends you don't stop and make time to work on some connections to create deeper, more meaningful friendships. of course, there is nothing inherently wrong with this as long as everybody is enjoying themselves. you thrive in social settings with large numbers of people. you may have many goals and dreams but they could change a lot. "take opportunities and turn them into gold" may resonate with you. you admire open-minded, creative and intelligent individuals. you also have the qualities that you admire in other people. i know i keep ranting about your social circles and friends but these people that you befriend are very important you. (vice versa as well) bouncing off other people's ideas helps you come up with some really interesting ideas and insights. your friends may view you as childish in a charming way. if this placement falls into the sign gemini dAmn. you probably talk a LOT. don't worry because things you say are interesting and everybody wants to listen -usually-.

introduction: 🍵 mercury represents how you communicate with others, your logic, reason, thought process, intellectual themes, analytical abilities and can also represent your voice and how you sound. mercury rules the third house and rules the signs gemini and virgo. the twelfth house represents things that exist without physical forms like dreams, secrets, emotions, feelings, intuition and spirituality.the twelfth house is ruled by neptune and pisces.

description: 🍵 some may describe you as a visionary. you are very insightful and intuitive. sometimes you may struggle with expressing your thoughts even though the thoughts you do have are usually worth sharing! usually you are good at keeping secrets unless other placements and aspects suggest different. you may be quite private and reserved when people first encounter you. this doesn't mean you aren't social though. you prefer surrounding yourself with lots of different types of people. you have a talent for seeing through other people's bs. you tend to daydream. logic isn't something that limits you in your thought processes. your mind is full of ideas and such an amazing imagination but (again circling back to this topic) you might have trouble sharing these things to the world due to fears you might have. i saw somebody write that "these people would rather write you a love letter with a pen and paper than tell you how they feel directly" and i agree. i've seen quite a few famous singers, like beyonce, with this placement and i believe that this placement could result in somebody having an ethereal voice. you could also make a great guide for others when it comes to spirituality and aiding them on their journey (along with your own journey)

Moon in the 1st house

the moon represents our emotions, where we feel comfortable and safe, the mother figure in your life and females in general. when the moon falls into the first house you are seen as a emotional and intuitive. there is a good chance you are a good cook! if you haven't experimented with cooking i recommend it. your appearance will usually be soft and moon-like. for example a rounded face or paler skin. moon in the first house individuals usually have a healthy torso and breast area unless conflicted heavily. you look approachable and friendly. you are the friend that either needs intense emotional nurturing or gives it. these people tend to look a little ethereal (especially if the moon falls into pisces or sometimes cancer) these people are also usually family-orientated. can manifest in a more feminine vibe regardless of gender. you are seen as delicate. i'm not too sure about this theory but because women's periods are related to the moon cycle perhaps women with this placement have either painless or painful periods? let me know if your moon is in your first house and you're a female! :)

the moon represents our emotions, where we feel comfortable and safe, the mother figure in your life and females in general. when the moon falls into the second house money can make you feel comfortable and at ease. if you are financially unstable you will be emotionally unstable as well. for you these things seem to go hand in hand. stable income = happy moon in the second house individual. money isn't the only thing that makes these people relaxed and at ease but anything that they find valuable. whenever you are upset and are looking for a distraction you will probably go shopping. these people like spending their money on luxurious items. they enjoy pampering themselves. they should be careful or they may find themselves in an endless cycle of feeling upset, spending money and getting more upset because they don't have enough money thanks to their shopping spree. don't worry though because not every person with this placement spends irresponsibly. i'm just saying that when somebody relies on material possessions to be satisfied it can end badly. you guys are baddies though so treat yourself :)

the moon represents our emotions, where we feel comfortable and safe, the mother figure in your life and females in general. when the moon falls into the third house it can result in moody communication. i bet people can usually tell how you feel by the tone of your voice. some say that the third house can represent short trips and short-distance travelling. maybe when you get upset and frustrated you tend to have a fight-or-flight mentality. to feel emotionally nourished and secure you might move around a lot. loved ones will be able to tell how upset or happy you are not only based on the tone of your voice (like mentioned above) but also how much you are talking. your taste in music is probably quite emotional and soulful - although that is not always the case - these people are very receptive. also they tend to have strong connections with their siblings and a nurturing relationship with them overall. moods swings can affect your relationship with your siblings a lot if you're not careful. if you don't have any siblings you might have found yourself wishing you had some. :')

the moon represents our emotions, where we feel comfortable and safe, the mother figure in your life and females in general. when the moon falls into the fourth house it is at home. these people have a very strong connection with their mother and females in their lives. their family environment can be nurturing and emotionally supporting if aspects and other placements allow. usually though these people have a good relationship with their family in general and spend a lot of their time and energy making sure everybody in the household is okay. these people can be private to outsiders about their emotions and feelings regarding certain things. this placement is considered to be one of the best, if not best, placements for the moon because its at home and powerful in the fourth house. if your moon is in cancer this just adds even more power to this placement (and some cliche since its all at home). a downside to this placement is that if anything happens to these individual's mothers it will heavily weigh on their emotional wellbeing and could possibly destroy them. but enough with that negative stuff. you are likely to have a great childhood and throughout your life be supported by your family.

the moon represents our emotions, where we feel comfortable and safe, the mother figure in your life and females in general. when the moon falls into the fifth house house it results in feeling a need for fun in life. if these individuals don't get the fun and attention that they seek they'll be hurt emotionally. especially as a child you probably balled your eyes out if your parents cancelled the trip to the amusement park. in order to be satisfied in life you need to have a good time. kids, parties and hobbies are all things that make you feel good. when times are rough you tend to be more sensitive than usual. these natives are usually quite sensitive. another thing that is important to you is attention and self-expression. if you are restricted from expressing yourself you are going to be very upset. what makes you happy and thrive is when you express yourself through an outlet ,like drawing for example, and you get the well-deserved attention you desired in the first place. if you have kids you are emotionally attached to them. if you're female you are probably a good mother. same goes for males but the moon is a feminine planet and specifically represents motherhood.

Moon in the 6th house

the moon represents our emotions, where we feel comfortable and safe, the mother figure in your life and females in general. when the moon falls into the sixth house these individuals probably experience an emotional, up-and-down routine everyday. emotions flow daily for these people whether others realise or not. people with this placement need to be careful not to overwork because they can ruin their emotional state by pressuring themselves and by having a workaholic tendency. if you stress too much your physical wellbeing will also be afflicted. for you your emotional state goes hand-in=hand with your physical state. if you are physically unwell you'll feel saddened. if you're physically well you're mind will follow. this applies for everybody but is especially important for these natives. i believe this placement can be used amazingly or terribly. these people have the capability to achieve great things because once their mind and body are aligned they are unstoppable. if something stands in between these people's routine there is going to be an issue. routine is what reassures you. if somebody waddles on in that is heavily uranus affected you might feel slightly uncomfortable. also negative uranus transits can freak these people out a bit since they're unpredictable and usually require breaking a routine.

hey how's it going guys? (:

today i'm going to be covering the sun in the houses and what it means in each house. (houses 7 - 12 in this post) i have tried to up my game and write more for these houses.

please take everything i say with a grain of salt since i'm not a professional and am still learning astrology. :)

i didn't mention this in the other post but aspects and other planets can completely change these definitions!

Sun in the 7th house

the sun is our basic identity, our ego and where our personalities shine when talking about the houses. the seventh house represents marriage, committed partnering and is sometimes referred to as the 'house of the other'. i believe this house also shows what others see in you whether that be first impressions or long term. having your sun in this house makes you an approachable individual since the seventh house is ruled by libra. you are kind hearted and probably long for some sort of partnership. (not necessarily romantic, but commonly it is romantic) you can be quite passionate when it comes to fairness and equality in relations. people with this placement want peace and a harmonic environment. the downside to this placement could be that these people focus on creating harmony in their environments and for other people they forget to give some harmony and love to themselves. usually good health comes with this placement. most people see you as a genuine person with good intentions. i've noticed people with this placement have this sort of innocence. at the same time keep in mind this individuals can be quite confident!

Sun in the 8th house

the sun is our basic identity, our ego and where our personalities shine when talking about the houses. the eighth house represents transformation, the occult sciences, mysteries, taxes and to some extent death and sex. this house is sometimes referred to as the 'house of death and sex' which i disagree with but i'll move on. having your sun in this house makes you interested in things like..astrology..that may be why you are here. (: there is a good chance you like discovering secrets. people with this placement hold the power to discover themselves and the mysteries that lie beneath the surface. usually this placement indicates some sort of inheritance. you can be intense natured. individuals with their sun in the eighth house tend to have interesting lives since this house is about transformation. a downside to this aspect could be that these people have an obsessive nature. they can hyper focus on things like death and occult sciences. those two things combined are dangerous. i've noticed people with this placement are very secretive and you might realise you don't actually know anything about them. they can have plutonic and scorpio qualities.

the sun is our basic identity, our ego and where our personalities shine when talking about the houses. the ninth house represents travelling, foreign things, religion, philosophy, wisdom and is sometimes referred to as the 'house of higher learning'. people with this placement can have a, even if subtle, jupiter and sagittarius vibe. if you have the sun in the ninth house you can be quite spiritual or at the very least intrigued by what life has to offer and the meaning of it all. you are usually easy-going and easy to get along with. this can be an indicator for being born overseas, having a multicultural family or living overseas. you like to travel and explore new places. a potential downside to this placement is that you could be taken advantage of. people with their sun in this house are usually very generous and that can be taken advantage of. these people might have a tendency to over-do things. it is easy for these people to learn new languages and usually they do know more than one language. you are usually seen as knowledgeable.

the sun is our basic identity, our ego and where our personalities shine when talking about the houses. the tenth house represents your image, reputation, career and goals. the tenth house is things about you that are visible to the public/ other people. the fourth house is opposite the tenth and the fourth house represents what things we have that are hidden and not seen by everybody else. -eighth and twelfth houses as well but in particular fourth house-. people will view you as had-working and potentially indimatiding since you can be a threat when it comes to business. also since this house is ruled by saturn and capricorn you could be seen as serious. people with this placement are more than likely career orientated and focus lots of their energy and time towards their occupation. these people know what they want and know how to get it. you may not only have business-related goals but long-term goals in general for self-improvement. people look up to you and see you as well established. a downside for this placement could be that, again, you end up becoming too devoted to your career and image that you don't have enough time left to spend alone, with friends and family and doing the things you love. -apart from your job if you love it-

the sun is our basic identity, our ego and where our personalities shine when talking about the houses. the eleventh house represents large groups of people, colleagues, social circles, friends and is sometimes referred to as the 'house of companions'. when the sun falls into this house these people are usually quite social and love a good chat. speaking to large groups of people, perhaps you are reading a speech or presenting something, is a strength of yours. you are seen as unique and original and people enjoy listening to what you have to say. in my opinion the individuals with this placement come off as a little bit scattered because they are always moving around. they usually have multiple social circles and these social circles could all be completely different in terms of interests etc. apart from coming off as a little bit scattered these people are usually good at staying organised. you are seen as kind. a downside to this placement could be that perhaps these people struggle with making one-on-one connections since they have so many friends. not a huge issue and this is not always the case anyway. you'll tend to talk loads if your sun is in gemini!

Sun in the 12th house

the sun is our basic identity, our ego and where our personalities shine when talking about the houses. the twelfth house represents enemies, self-undoing, isolation, fantasies and is sometimes referred to as the 'house of shadows'. as scary as the twelfth house sounds it has it's positive side as well. (: people with this placement can have a wonderful imaginations and great writing skills. if you have your sun in this house you might have a great intuition and feeling things comes easier to you. you may tend to fantasize a lot. these individuals don't usually like being in the limelight and prefer being behind the scenes. some downsides that potentially come with this placement is that you could become a doormat if you don't speak up. some people may and take advantage of you. you may have secret enemies. my advice is instead of trying to act differently embrace this neptunian and pisces energy you have, even if subtle, and use it for beautiful things!

note: somebody i know has this placement but their sun is in aries suggesting that they are quite different from what i've written above. keep this in mind for yourself.
