I love that we saw both versions of Steven

like for SU we saw that he was a lot less mature than you’d typically expect a 12-14 year old to be, he was just a very sensitive and sweet little boy who every around him tended to look over, and then in SUF we got a young adult who was, despite having a plethora of 1000-year-old adult aliens around him, was the most mature of anyone around him. Like we went from literally the kindest, sweetest little kid I’ve ever seen in any piece of fiction EVER to that same kid but older and more mature with everyone around him acting like actual children. Actually, on that topic, they also acted like children when he was a child, but it was less obvious. (I don’t like the characterization in SUF by the way, just saying it was an interesting juxtaposition.)
