HOOOOOO-O-O-O-O WEE!!! It’s funny you email me back now because tonight was such a CRAZY night omg omg omg omg!!!! And I was scared that I wouldn’t have anything to write back to you about hahaha!

Okay so before I say any of this… ya I know it’s reckless lol. But basically I do this thing kinda like what you do but- okay no I’m not even gonna justify this. I trespass into abandoned buildings to get some nice aesthetic pix lol. Buuuuuut we in da scene call it URBAN EXPLORATION!! If u tell anyone im doin illegal stuff like this I’ll deny it but it’s rlly fun. Maybe you’ve done it before, although I know you prefer your roads n forests :3 But this time I had someone I met recently tagged along with me for this trip bcoz liek… I WAS studying but it got boring really fast bc I forgot the thing ab academia is that you also have to do a lot of boring work -_- but then we were like FUCK THAT lets go find some buildings!!!! And we did. And when we got there, I mean, it was ALREADY creepy but then when we found this padlocked door, right? And my friend with me was looking at it and just suddenly said the guy who made the padlocked is an old guy. Like OLDDDD old guy, if you’re catching my meaning. They said the guy could be pretty much anything, so I’m def curious about that. But then while we were thinking about what to do we both got this hella bad feeling all of a sudden, like something was watching me and it just didn’t like us AT ALLL and first of all- boooooo!!!! Imagine hating women, couldn’t be me!!! And then it got super dicey bc like it felt like something was suddenly running right at us and we had to hightail it outta there until it lost track of us and like it was super scary but it was also EXHILARATING!!! And I didn’t die cuz I’m the main character and my plot armor comes in the form of a short skirt and a pink cardigan shirt <3 Anyway, now I think I wanna find out more about the place, even if it’s owned by a misogynist… magic… evil… thing. What can I say? I’m nosy lololol. I’ll be sure to study it from a distance and if I ever do return to the place I’ll have some backup, bcoz I’m not dumb enough to just go back unprepared. I know it’s reckless, but I guess this is how I’ve always been. Lots of things scare me nowadays so I kinda learned to ignore the feeling because I accepted that it’s a scary world. But a lot of the time it’s been worth being brave <3 So I’ll do just that while I do my research on this address! Anyway, my pic for today is a pic of the place I took just before I had to go. I would’ve taken more but I was basically dragged out of there before mr woman hater got my ass, so thank god haha. (It’s a weird habit I picked up… for whatever reason whenever I see something cool I can’t stop taking pics for a LOOOOOONG time. I rlly don’t know what it is lol)

Unfortunately it’s a little blurry :( but I caught how the aura changed right as misogynist magic dude got angry yknow?? It was AWESOME!! Anyway, onto answering your questions! Selene is cool, even though she curses and drinks a lot (someone here found a way to make stuff we could actually drink which is awesomeeee). She’s been patient with me even though I get up to shenanigans like this all the time… Sometimes I think I can see a vein bulging in her forehead when I explain stuff like the above to her and she takes a minute to step outside and yell haha. But she’s nice to me at least so I like her :3 The camp counselor thing was mostly a position I took up so that I could get my community service hours back in high school, so it was mostly me and like 10 little kids singing the same campfire songs over and over, collecting leaves, making smores etc… mosquitoes LOVED me back then so I was always covered in bites (ha, the irony) but it was worth it. As for your offer… I’ll think about it :3 As for my advice? For new friends, I’d just talk about whatever comes to mind, like the type of stuff you do and the things we talk about! (well, not all of them obviously, secrets are secret for a reason haha) But that’s kind of vague so I’ll just say- as crazy as the earth can be, most people are actually nice. If you show that you’re happy to see them, they’ll most likely be happy to see you too! Compliment them, ask about what they’ve been up too lately, tell a joke, etc. Maybe we’re not warm in a literal sense but I think you are! And I think people will be able to see that in you! So I wouldn’t worry :) Also, thank you for the stamp pic! I’m glad u were thinking of me and it is such a pretty stamp <33333 I appreciate it very much, so thank uuuuuuuu! And ofc, I wouldn’t let any email of mine be finished without a good, non-blurry photo for the viewing pleasure haha. So here u go! Took this after the two of us processed everything that happened. Haiiiiii Alice!! Glad ur back! Hope that the whole trek wasn’t too much trouble. I had complications like that once in Crescent City CA with a… companion of mine, except it was more a money issue rather than a gas one, so we ended up getting into a crazy situation trying to find some shade. But that’s a story for another day- but the lesson here is always go cash only. Although I’m sure you know that by now lol. Seattle is nice! Although it’s different now coming back after spending a year doing… well, what I was doing my first year. I’m not sure if that’s because I’m different or because the city’s different. Although it’s nice finally being able to come back. And yeah, I agree with you on the Twilight thing- that’s set in Forks about three hours from here, so I always have a soft spot in my heart for it since sometimes I’d go there in high school to be a summer camp counselor. There’s surprisingly a little bit here that’s similar to Twilight- tho I WISH I only sparkled in the sun… alas. -_- Right now I’m continuing my major in photography! The people here were nice enough to give me a different name and place online to post my portfolio (Although I still can’t scroll… feels like I’m stepping into a time machine every time I have to post through some jailbroken laptop instead of my phone haha). It’s still difficult getting used to answering by a different name. I liked my old one </3 oh well. There’s not much of a difference anyway. As for more recent news… I suppose I have made another friend. Basically, others here say I need someone to look after me because the first guy who was supposed to… um. Let’s just say we didn’t get along! Long story haha,,, ^^;; Her name’s Selene and she cusses a lot- Brujah, if you couldn’t guess. I wasn’t sure about her at first but she’s nice! It’s easier to be completely isolated than to be with everyone else like you, I’m finding. It feels like everyone either likes me, thinks I’m naive or something, or kinda wants to eat me (more than kinda sometimes)… but at least I have… three people I like! And ur one of them! Even tho ur all the way in the southwest (le sigh)... So you’ll never have to worry about me seeing you the way your Monty says we do– honestly, maybe you have the right idea lol. Idk. Oh yeah I forgot to mention but Carrie has a gf!!! Her name is Evie Cruz!! Ain’t she purty :3

They’ve been best friends since they were kids and she was the first one Carrie rushed over to after the unfortunate circumstances of her embrace. Carrie always had feelings for her but only admitted it under these circumstances because of all the feelings bubbling back to the surface.

Usually when it comes to Kindred, people tend to say romantic/sexual feelings are dulled and less common and overall that’s been true for Carrie. Except with Evie, those feelings pretty much tripled in size. What HAD once been a crush that she was scared to admit turned into straight up obsession post embrace and it’s endearing but also terrifying. Just know that if anything happens to her Carrie is killing everyone in the room and then herself lol.

They’ve pretty much been through hell together and while Carrie doesn’t like other people knowing about Evie, she would literally kill and die for this woman <3 I have literal chapters about their relationship (which I still have to finish and edit) and there are entire paragraphs about how codependent they are on each other lol

As for me, I usually type my emails and stuff from this extremely jailbroken phone (I’m actually rather new at this and apparently I’m not supposed to regularly post on social media anymore bcoz of the data n location trackers and stuff. Which like. Fine but I’m soooooooo bored bc now I can’t look at memes or tiktok or anything  -_-). Rn I’m in the great city of Seattleeeee (my home!) and just wandering around the city as per usual, trying to make new friends. I’ve kind of had to start all over with my friend group recently due to some complications… long story. I miss having a group to hang out late with on weekends after some long college classes tbh :( so ur gal is kinda lonely too. But it’s okay! Bc now I have you! If you want, I can keep sending you photos of this place too!! You’ve sent such a nice photo, so it’s only fair I repay you <3 Here’s Pike’s market! It’s not like I need groceries (lol) but sometimes I miss cooking. Like, sometimes I’ll make a pizza just to take a few pics and be proud I made it for a while.
