You and I play a huge role in the environmental impact of our garments, 70% of the clothes we throw away are as a result of irrevisible damage such as colour fading, stubborn stains or shrinking. Embroidery/Applique done with needle can be used to prolong the life of a stained garment. Stitching a different fabric to lengthen the garment also prolongs the garment life and saves the earth from unnecessary landfills.
