From "One Day I’ll Write" to "Okay, Fine, I’ll Write"
For years, I told myself: "One day, I’ll write my own stories."
So, naturally, I did what any aspiring writer would do : everything except writing.
I spent years deep in "research":
- 📺 Watching TV shows and calling it "story analysis" (Spoiler: it wasn’t). - 📌 Collecting writing tips like a dragon hoarding gold (only to lose them in the chaos). - 💭 Daydreaming about epic plots… instead of actually writing them.
And then it hit me: Maybe, just maybe, it was time to start writing ? Time to practice instead of just theorizing ?
So, here the new plan :
Less dreaming, more doing.
- Instead of passively enjoying stories, I’ll break them down, take notes, and learn.
- Instead of drowning in “helpful” resources, I’ll organize and share them.
- Instead of just wanting to be a writer—I’ll start writing.
That’s what this blog is for:
- ✨ Quotes & Prompts to spark inspiration
- 🎓 Tutorials & tips to improve our craft
- 💡 Creative concepts & ideas to help us stand out
- 🛠️ Tools & other ressources to help us reaching our goal
Does this mean I’m writing my own stories now? Not yet. Will I ever finish and publish a book? Who knows.
But hey, at least I’m writing—so that’s got to count for something… right?
If you’re on the same messy journey, let’s figure it out together. Follow along!
