#Encantober

Encantober is an Encanto fandom event with themes to challenge artists and writers throughout the month of October (link to theme list in a copy/pasteable format here). Encantober is open to any and all art and writing, including sketches, drabbles, one-shots, and more.

Fanworks can be shared via the #Encantober tag on tumblr and/or posted as part of the AO3 collection here.

The goal of the bingo event is to fill five prompts in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. You can use the bingo card on this post, or send us an ask to receive an individual randomized card. You must send the ask off anon, so that we can respond privately.

Rules:

Works must be a part of the Encanto (2021) fandom. OCs, AUs, and crossovers are permitted.

Works must adhere to one of the Encantober themes.

Series of Encantober works are welcome.

Q: Can I link prompts together? Or cover multiple prompts with one work? A: Linking works together to create a story series is a wonderfully creative idea! However, combining multiple prompts into one work defeats the purpose of the multi-prompt challenge. Each work (or chapter in a series) must focus on one prompt.

Q: Do I have to complete every prompt? A: You do not! The goal is to fill five prompts in a row, but you can choose to complete fewer, or more. This is meant to be fun, so please don’t stress yourself out.

if I had a nickel for every time mirabel needed to tell camilo something that she doesn’t want dolores to know but forgets dolores has super hearing I would have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice

was listening to “the family madrigal” and for some reason it got me thinking about the line “my primo camilo wont stop till he makes you smile today!” despite mirabel hardly interacting with camilo the whole movie she still has the nicest things to say about him. Even tho we know they were closer as kids they grew distant but their love for eachother never fades only the closeness they once had.

mirabel & camilo probably hang out at school still even if they aren’t as close as they used to be. The fact mirabel never says a bad word about him tells me they’ve never had a sour relationship. She’s always gotten along with him they just grew apart due to his gift and responsibilities, growing up, etc! One of my fav moments that says to me they missed eachother is when camilo says “we don’t have a house” and despite the situation being painfully true mirabel smiles!

it’s such a minor detail but it’s a look that screams fake annoyance to me! she’s basically smirking amused that even in worst situation he still finds a way to crack a joke! really not stopping until he makes you smile today! but idk the look on her face here makes me think she missed that! I love thinking about them talking during the rebuild and slowly red building that best friend like bond they once shared!

Alma: Well, children, as you are all getting older, it’s time to start thinking about what you might like to do in the future. Does anyone have any ideas?

Dolores: I have already planned mine, Abuela. I am going to be a musician and compose my own music.

Alma: Marvellous. I will be looking forward to hear it.

Mirabel: I have already planned mine too! Our local tailor has already promised me a job as an embellisher, seeing as he does not have one and knows I “have potential”. Don’t ask me how. I only went in for some thread and somehow walked out with future employment.

Alma: Because you are very talented, nieta. You should be proud of yourself.

Luisa: I’d like to get into construction. I really enjoyed rebuilding Casita and I’ve already looked into some architecture books, so I’d love to do something like that!

Alma: I’m sure I can arrange for you to shadow some of our builders for a while, just let me know when you are free.

Camilo: Me and Marco are gonna be dads!!! Well, he doesn’t know yet, but I’ve already started buying a ton of baby things and I’ve picked out some great names!

Alma: That all sounds amazing, Milo, you and Marco will make wonderful fathers. And you, Isabela?

Isabela: I already have a job actually, Abuela. I’m a full-time, professional lesbian.

Isabela: Just yesterday, I was a blushing mess in front of sixteen different, pretty women

I thought …ok what if they got starter Pokemon with their gifts? …So I drew the triplets with their Starters. (Starter Pokemon meaning: Pokemon they start out with! not the usual Fire/Water/Plant trio)

Mysteriously everyone else in her family runs into shiny or otherwise rare Pokemon at an alarmin frequency, to the point it has become a family business, but for some reason Mirabel doesn’t have this ability. She has a Litwick.
