When I was just a K-pop stan who liked women I wouldn't understand fandom obsession culture at all. Like okay why do you have this random boy from 10,000 miles away who doesn't care about your existence as your phone wallpaper? You dream about marrying him? That is so weird, why would anyone do that for some random boy who sings and dances.
Anyway now that I have found Takarazuka and it's full of women I'm actually attracted to I finally understand. 30 year old quasi-masc Japanese women have me in a chokehold. I am no better than an ARMY.
i did not even say who this post was about. Coto lives in my head so much I forget everyone can't see her with me at all times
She could announce her retirement today (knock on wood) and I'd be completely happy with the incredible career she's had so far nonetheless but I love the idea of her graduating in at least January 2026 so she can take the spot for longest-serving top otokoyaku in Takarazuka's history. She'd deserve that prestige.

yesterday in place of doing just math revision for exams i made a report applying my statistics knowledge from class to find trends in the length of top stars' tenures. see takarazuka can be a very educational hobby
Of course by virtue of being top star she's going to be at the top of the talent pile and there's specific effort put into making her look as good as possible anyway but genuinely Coto is an all-rounded natural talent who's always a cut above the rest. Like she's someone you look at her and it's obvious she was BORN to do this
I was a little scared before watching Takarazuka do RRR because I was like gosh it's such a good movie the expectations are so high. Are the going to do Natu Natu and make it look good, I had my worries. But then Ms Rei Makoto said how dare you doubt me you fool and got out the fork and knife she called me stupid in 12 languages
