Desdemona was no stranger to the darkness; the wet and cold it also could provide. Alas her cloak was also her ally within the depths of the blackness that was the halls of deep below the Opera house. A pathway she accidentally stumbled upon before hearing the sweet keys of an organ from a distance. The closer the masked woman got, the more distinct the notes had gotten- to her it sounded roughly like...C major to G Major. To a G. Then to D sharp. And given how nobody else was down here...a pause.

"I didn't mean to disturb-" Des was quiet, gentle to answer with hesitance. The gentle sounds of her heel lightly clicked and clacked against the stone flooring as she backed away; wanting to hide her body behind a nearby wall just in case. While the lovely notes drew her in; she knew better to immediately approach...she didn't want to experience the confrontation quite yet with a stranger. It was already worse off how the staff of this Opera house had, well, treated her within her first few days.

True, she was beyond recognizable anymore after the flames- a shining star faded, as she heard around. Opera days were over, the brunette knew that- the only thing she had left was starting anew. Working as, you guessed it, consuming. Something to keep her masked wounds away from prying eyes of Opera guests.

"You're music... it's lovely. I- don't know what came over me. I can leave if you wish me to, monsieur. I merely stumbled upon a path down here...I apologize."

his fingers grazed against the keys of his organ as he continued to work on his masterpiece. don juan triumphant. it was truly a work of art. the music swelled throughout the cavern beneath the opera house as his fingers flowed through melodies.

his movements come to a halt when hearing light steps against the steps leading down to his space. who dared to enter without his say? why did giry not stop them?

his fingers reach for his cloak as he brings the hood over his head and slithers into the darkness. the candles atop his organ lighting the space of his work. blue eyes search through the darkness as he hears a voice pierce through the silence.
