What's your favorite part of your job and what future plans do you have for your career?

I love being creative. I’ve spent a lot of my life being incredibly academic and process driven. I’m very much enjoying a career in which not everything has a rhyme or reason. Future plans? I have a meeting next week with a huge investor in New York City. If it goes well, my very first storefront could open in just a few months.

Feeling sentimental...

Going through old photo albums with Hope... She’s decided that since Daddy can’t tuck her in tonight looking at photos of him will have to do. She has also decided that she’s going to be ‘cool like auntie Hanna’ when she goes to school.

I don't know, Toby. I don't want to fight with you over work. I'm glad you're happy doing what you're doing. I'm glad you're working with Jason. I'm even more glad that you've been so supportive financially, and willing to do so much for us.

is doing the long distance hard for you and spencer now? do you do travelling or do both of you?

It’s been hard. Spencer travels sometimes but I’m gone every weekend, Thursday night through Monday morning. We don’t get to see each other much anymore and with kids in the picture it only adds to the complexity of getting things to work. 

At the end of the day, it is how it is.
