One could say that Jashinism isn’t a very organized religion. It doesn’t have any written Scriptures as Jashin-sama is a capable teacher, showing each of his followers the readings they needed to know only once they proved themselves worthy. He would whisper it in their ears during their most quiet moments of the day, and show them vision after horrifying vision in their sleep. It is also aggressively individualistic and has no central power structure unless you manually create a fellowship of your own from the ground up. Furthermore, even if you were part of a larger group, each adherent would be advised to nurture a personal relationship with the God of suffering. This means that while He may advise a follower to do a specific task, He can also guide another in the same situation towards a different direction. As a result, there are different ways of presenting a sacrifice. There are some literalists who perform the technique to tie themselves to the sacrifice and then die at the same time. On the other hand, there are also conservatives who don’t think a sacrifice had to end in death. They would take their sacrifice, put their hand on top of their offering’s, and jam their knife through both of their hands before praying.

Jashinism is the religious practice based upon the worship of Jashin, the god of pain, death, and destruction. It is a polytheist religion that acknowledges and respects the faiths of others. Followers of this faith do not believe in a single omnipotent being, for if this were the case everything would be as that being wanted it. They also perceive the concept of free will as wishful thinking for once one pledges loyalty to a god or goddess they are relinquishing their freedom to serve their lord. This is why they worship Jashin both as a god and as a philosophy. Jashinists believe that pain is a gift, which is why they fully embrace the feeling. From a young age, all Jashinists learn to enjoy the gift of pain or to ignore it completely. They never leave a sacrifice alive, especially Jashin's prophets who are the only ones who knows true pain. Additionally, only these select few are allowed to perform human sacrifices or to inflict pain on others, for they know the difference between those who are suffering and those who abuse pain for their own benefit. Lastly, once you become a Jashinist, you cannot leave the faith.

— fujisaki siblings: abilities
Abilities:
Immortality
Can heal from almost any disease or wound they’ve received from humans. They could also heal from ailments or injuries from immortal beings, but it’ll be done so at a much slower rate.
In the event that someone cuts off one of their appendages, they can either wait for it to grow back (speed would depend on what was removed) or sew the missing body piece back and simply wait for the wounds to heal. They’ll also be able to move the decapitated part regardless of how far it is from their body.
It is important to note though that it is important that they eat since this gives their body the energy to repair itself.
Hears Jashin-sama
Jashin-sama, the god of pain and suffering who they worship, is a constant presence at the back of their minds. He usually graces them with his presence by whispering about whom of the people they meet is worthy enough to be an offering or a possible disciple.
He never gives specifics, but Jashin-sama would vaguely refer to what they’ve been through as well as whether or not they’re human.
Extremely high pain tolerance
Weaknesses:
In theory, it would still be possible to kill Akiko or Ayumi. It’ll just be a very slow and painful death.
Although Jashin-sama could provide them with the information they need, their ability to hear it would depend on their state of mind during a specific time.
They can only sacrifice one person at a time.
Sacrificial Ceremony Proceedings:
Akiko or Ayumi would have to draw the symbol of Jashin on the ground either through chalk or tracing it on the soil or sand. Although there aren’t any specifics, it has to be large enough for either or both of them to stand in and within ten to fifteen meters of their sacrifice.
To officially start the ceremony, both Akiko and Ayumi have to have a taste of their sacrifice’s blood. The amount doesn’t really matter— it can either be them licking it off a blade or drinking a cup of it.
Afterward, the sacrifice will be unable to move their bodies because they will now be tied to both Akiko and Ayumi. Their own limbs will shadow whatever the two sisters do in sync.
The duo will then recite their Scripture before inevitably “killing” themselves and their sacrifice. Their most preferred method is slashing a blade across their neck. Neither of the sister duo would feel pain, only elation that they have given their god a gift.
As it all winds down, the two will remain in a state of bliss as their deadly wounds repair themselves.
Initiation Ceremony Proceedings:
Those who are deemed worthy of conversion are individuals who are open to serving a god for eternity and finding peace in the thought that pain is sacred.
It starts with at least two weeks of fasting and meditation from sun up to sun down.
Slowly, Jashin-sama will visit you during the times where you’re most unprepared. He will show you visions of death and suffering and make you experience phantom pains and aches that will leave you sobbing.
Only the strong survive until the end, and after a few days or weeks, the initiator will simply know once you’re ready. They’ll prepare a huge, bloody, and intricate circle with different symbols that you’ll have to step into.
After reciting the prayers, the initiator will the have you kneel before them and kill you. No method is preferred, so long as the heart stops beating.
During your death, Jashin-sama will closely examine your soul. Not many make the cut, but if you do, you’ll open your eyes once more to immortality, which will help you in fulfilling your lifelong purpose of servitude to the god of pain and suffering.
Note: If interested, you can learn more about the intricacies of Jashinism here.

ʙᴜᴋᴏᴅ ɴᴀ ᴘɪɴᴀɢᴘᴀʟᴀ ꜱᴀ ʙᴀʙᴀᴇɴɢ ʟᴀʜᴀᴛ
When she hasn’t been summoned, Maria liked staying at home. Hell was vast and highly diverse, filled with different kinds of creatures that prowled the lands of the underworld. In one little corner that she made for herself, the pact demon built a house that was very similar to the one she lived in back when she was still human. She currently lived in a very simple nipa hut that never failed to bring her flashes of her past life— the gnawing feeling of constant hunger, the sticky summer heat and the stench of the canals, and the sheer dread of not knowing until when she would survive living like how she did.

— maria corina grospe: abilities and weaknesses
Abilities:**
Sending people to hell
Teleportation
Manipulative Hypnosis
Invisibility (effective on humans only)
Soul reading
Pyrokinesis (both regular and unholy fire)
**Can have more in the future since the more souls she eats, the stronger she gets
Summoning Proceedings
Maria can be summoned by humans through rituals (usually involving a summoning circle, incantations, and a blood sacrifice; the sacrifice doesn’t have to be a human, it can be an animal as well)
She appears before those who summoned her in her demon form and asks them who they want to send to hell, explaining that all the payment she asks for is that when they die, their soul would belong to Maria and would have no chance of going to heaven
If they agree to her terms, she seals it all with a kiss before leaving to hunt for the soul whom she was asked to drag to hell
Since she has manipulative hypnosis, Maria often uses it on her targets— making them see, hear, and feel their greatest fears when nothing is there irl (she can make you feel like bugs are crawling underneath your skin, have it appear like you’re suddenly teleported at the side of a cliff and about to fall, etc.)
And when the humans are often at the peak of her fear, Maria appears in her demon form, saying that it’s time to go to hell and that she would bring them with her, ready or not
Large gates then appear and open behind her before she teleports them to the boat she uses to bring humans souls past the River of Styx
If souls choose to dip any of their limbs into the water or jump off the boat, they’ll experience the painful sensation of their skin melting, leaving them with only their bones (but no bleeding occurs)
As for the souls of those who made a pact with her, Maria visits you once death is at your door and inhales (read: eats) your soul just as you take your last breath (think shotgunning but like,, with souls lmao)
Weaknesses
She can withstand stepping on holy grounds, but she’ll feel a slight discomfort in the place between her wings (or where they should be if ever she was in her human form)— holy grounds include any place blessed by a priest as well as churches
When someone throws holy water on her, the most she would feel would be a burn (something like what you’d get if you accidentally spilled a bit of hot water on yourself). It can be detrimental to her health depending on the amount you throw on her
The best way to get rid of her (and temporarily send her to hell) would be to perform a demon exorcism ritual
Demon Form
Maria is much taller in this form (around 6′) and has horns sprouting from her head, a tail just above her tailbone, black feathered wings, black slightly elongated fingers and nails, and glowing, red eyes
The form I’m envisioning for her isn’t like the commercialized ones that are usually shown on media (meaning, nothing at all like this or this)
Her horns would be more similar to carabao horns, her tail would look like that of a lion’s, and her wings would look like that of a Philippine eagle’s (her final demon form is much more closer to this or this)

In existence since Ancient Japan, Mizuki’s restaurant was once a tea house. She would serve her customers in a chashitsu (a traditional tea room), where she would prepare and serve tea in accordance with the strict protocols that tea ceremony masters follow.  The interior of her shop was primarily made of wood, with floors covered with tatami mats that guests would sit on during the ceremony. There was also a nook in the room called a tokonoma, where there a vase of flowers is placed and a calligraphy scroll is hung. Mizuki served both thin and thick tea. It is important to note, however, that the drink she gave primarily depended on the nature of one’s wish. Usucha (or thin tea) was offered to those who had wished that would benefit others, while koicha (thick tea) was for those with more selfish desires.

Mizuki can grant anyone’s wishes. Whether you want to win the lottery or get revenge on someone, she has the abilities to make anything you want come true. All you have to make sure is that you’re ready to pay for what you want to get. Dishes that feature meat and seafood products as their main ingredient are served to those who make a wish for their own benefit. The luxuriousness and rarity of each ingredient— Wagyu beef, salmon, lobster, and more— represents the selfishness that each customer possesses to be able to want something so much despite the steep price that the dimensional witch usually asks for. Although each bite provides a forkful of comfort and flavor, don’t be fooled, because after you finish your plate, Mizuki will surely collect what you’ve promised her.

All you have to make sure is that you’re ready to pay for what you want to get. Desserts are served to those who make a wish that aren’t for them. Treats that are baked to perfection and layered with fresh fruit and chantilly cream or layered with thick, rich chocolate ganache are exclusively for customers who ask for the happiness of others. Anyone who wishes for matters concerning to acquiring love shall also be served such dishes. Although the main ingredient for each treat differs, one thing is for certain: each of the dimensional witch’s creations is a culinary masterpiece that perfectly intertwines flavor and texture.

When A Rave of Conspiracies isn’t in the area where Mizuki’s next customer would be, it could be found in a pocket dimension of her making. The exterior of her restaurant is expansive— with cobblestone paths, elegant garden statues, and exquisite fountains peppering the large patch of land. It also has tall trees as well as delicate shrubs, bushes, and flowers that are always perfectly trimmed and maintained.  A wrought-iron fence surrounds her property, and whenever someone steps past it, the dimensional witch is always the first to know. Additionally, past her gates is a dense forest whose inhabitants remain unknown to her until now. It is important to note that when she moves the restaurant to the location where her next guest would be, her garden would automatically adjust itself so that her next client could easily reach her front door.

Mizuki’s interior for her restaurant is distinctly Victorian, with a few pieces hinting at Edwardian and Georgian styles. The walls as well as the wooden floor are dark, with the light from the regal chandelier overhead as well as the different lamps that peppered the room casting a yellow-ish glow onto the pieces of furniture spread out in her receiving area.

Hyorin’s relationship with Nature is akin to that of an overprotective child’s with their parent. Her love for them is apparent in the soft way her fingers caressed tree barks as she walked through forests, in the way she softly curled her toes against the damp grass in mornings, and in her whispered words of gratitude before she drifted off to sleep. Furthermore, despite the diwata’s usually blunt (some people would even go far to say as crass) disposition, Hyorin is only ever soft and sweet to the spirits that constantly surrounded her. The petite woman would preen under their words of praise or affection, a pleased blush gracing the tops of her cheeks as the wind picks up, almost as if someone was running their fingers through her locks. In turn, Nature looks at Hyorin with fond eyes. They understand that the diwata is only as abrasive as she is to humans because of her concern for them, so they simply let Hyorin be. However, at times, they do gently chide her and dissuade her from going through with certain actions that they deem as excessively violent.

Despite how much she hates humans, Hyorin has a soft spot for children. Kids aren’t beguiling like adults are, so she doesn’t have as much disdain for girls and boys who knew no more than what they are taught.  The diwata frequently helps lost toddlers find their way back to their homes. She would take their smaller hand and in hers and walk with them until they were at the edges of the woods, where she knew they would be able to spot their houses from. This happened so often that people eventually created folktales about a nature deity in white with dark, long hair.  It was passed from one person to another that the spirit would help children escape the clutches of the forest if ever they lost their way. However, they would also warn others that if she encountered an adult she didn’t find worthy, she would use their body as sustenance for the earth and let the soil beneath her feet consume them whole.

Taken from the orphanage she grew up in, Jun was absorbed into ROOT when she was five years old and was assigned a partner when she first got in. Rin was someone she shared a bunk with, trained with, and spent every moment not on missions with. The other girl was her closest bond in the organization, even if they rarely talked about anything else outside of their lessons. Jun formed a bond with Rin similar to the one shared between sisters. However, when they both reached the age of twelve years old, they both had to prove themselves to their superiors by fighting Rin to the death. By severing the only bond she was permitted to have, it was as if Jun voluntarily chose the unfeeling blankness granted by her conditioning. She chose it because she had no other choice; she chose it so that she wouldn’t break.  When she won, with the blood of Rin still warm on her skin and the last breaths of her sister echoing in her ears, Jun finally became the optimum agent—  someone who’d stop at nothing to complete the missions assigned to them, because they had nothing to come back to.

— hyorin min: diwata lore
Hyorin’s kind isn’t born as humans are. They do not enter the world as an infant that is easily influenced by the people and culture around them. Rather, they simply start to exist.
Diwatas originate from the thickest roots of the oldest and tallest trees in a certain area, twisting and turning as these plants help manifest them into a physical form.
Life that was born of the will of the earth followed different laws than those who were born of the will of man. They are governed not by written rules that mortals have made, but by the innate trait they were born with to preserve nature and help it flourish so that it becomes better than how it started as.
Hyorin refers to nature as Mother and uses they/them pronouns when talking about them.
She does not travel as how humans would. Whenever she moves homes, Hyorin simply has to follow the pulling sensation that nature has before they basically teleport her to a different forest that can be anywhere in the world.
Plant Communication Abilities:
She has the ability to talk to plants, but can’t necessarily control them according to her will. Instead, Hyorin requests for their help, and since she functions to serve nature and they are very fond of her, more often than not, they lend her their assistance.
If you want a reference for how her powers would look like whenever she requests for help from nature, it’s pretty much like Mokuton from Naruto.
However, Hyorin can’t do things that are against nature’s will. For example, she can’t attack humans for destroying forests even if she wants to because the earth is benevolent and believes that violence only begets violence.
Healing Abilities:
Hyorin also has healing abilities. Her hands glow a pale green when she cures someone, and she doesn’t need to have her palms hovering directly over the injury. She just has to maintain skin contact.
Her healing powers feel warm on the end of those she helps, similar to the line of warmth you feel from the back of your throat to the pit of your stomach when you take a sip of hot cocoa.
However, they also have their limitations. She can’t heal something you aren’t born with. For example, she can’t help someone see when they were born blind.
Physical Abilities:
Hyorin would rather avoid physical fights at all costs, but if forced to, she can hold her own.
She’s quite adept at taekkyeon, a traditional form of Korean martial art that is characterized by its “softer” characteristics because of how it uses minimal force.
