at work theres this drawer thats always gotten stuck and i hated opening it because it is packed to the brim with old files from like 1998 and i know thats how long its been because all the rubber bands have dried and literally flake off of the papers they were supposed to be binding together

so anyway today someone came in asking for a file from 3 years ago and while my manager asked the clients for more details i had to dig out every single yellow crusty paper out of that awful drawer and AT THE VERY BACK OF IT I FIND THIS???

it’s glass. I’ve been slamming that door shut like it owes me money and it never broke. what the fuck.

Venom's team if i had to put thought and logic into it

Dachsbun - you know why this one's here. Cute bread mascot doggy. Literally no reason to take this guy off of a Venom team.

Furfrou - If I wasn't worried about type overlap and choosing exclusively quadruped doglike pokemon, I would have put slurpuff into this slot. In fact, I'd say that a slurpuff would be perfect for a bakery-only Venom team, but this team represents Venom's story in a more broad sense. Furfrou is a symbol of luxury, symbolising adherence to dandyism.

Manectric - Something you'll notice if you watch Xrd's 4 hour storymode cutscenes is that Venom is always standing stiffly at attention, completely straight-backed and tense. It really distinguishes his silhouette when he's in the room with the other members of the assassin's guild, even moreso when his hair-eye isn't visible. I didn't want to have too much type overlap on Venom's team, and this is what made me pick manectric over boltund.

Lycanroc - Dusk form, an unexpected third added to what was assumed to be a duo; represents Venom's feeling left out of Millia and Zato's relationship.

Houndoom - Of the three dark type dogs that I could have used to convey Venom's outward persona of evil vs inner truth of just wants friends, Houndoom was the coolest and also had the fire typing.
