Sky: Children Of The Light

Sky: Children Of The Light is the game that was made by That Game Company. the game was released in 2019 for iOS only. Now, the game can be played in Android, Nintendo Switch, Playstation and Microsoft Windows. But for me, I play this game on my Nintendo Switch.

My first time playing this game was on my iP9ad Mini 3 that was given by my father. It is not that big, but it is still big.

This game was the first app that I installed when I first received it from my father. It was a 1GB game, but the iPad's storage is only 16GB. It was quite big when I combined the app storage that already existed on the iPad. Honestly, I wouldn't mind because, for me, games are the most important that time. Yeah, I'm matured yet that time. That was my first journey with Sky: Children of the Light. 

The first thing I like about the game is that I can interact with people around the world. Currently, I have new friends named Mano, from Japan, and Katy, from somewhere in Europe. They are indeed nice people I've ever played with. Secondly, this game can reduce my stress as their background songs are really calming. Back in high school, I often felt stressed when coming back from school. To reduce it, I played this game, and I don't care if I was tired or not at that time. Thirdly, this game always had an event ahead every year! When I finished the event, I was rewarded with a bunch of candles so I could buy my character's accessories. 

All in all, I would recommend this game for those who really like calming and soothing games for reducing their tension. There are a lot of fun challenges ahead. Happy playing!

Crocheting

Crocheting is when we create something using a crochet hook. This hobby might sound boring as it is an old people hobby, but little did they know, crocheting has become a thing for younger generations, especially Gen Z. 

At first, I saw on TikTok that people did a crochet tutorial. At first, I can say that crocheting looks kind of boring, but that time, I was really curious what other thing that crochet could do. I would not let the curiosity take over my mind, so I searched for it on Pinterest about crochet ideas. Let me be honest, everything that shows up on the page was really gorgeous and stunning! How did people have such creativity to create something just using yarn? Because of that, my interest in crocheting has grown bigger and bigger. 

One day, my passion for crochet will reach its limit. I asked my mother that time if she could buy me some yarn because I really wanted to crochet so badly. At first, she was a bit hesitant about it because she knew that her daughter could get bored easily when she tried something new. For my love of crochet, I encouraged myself that I would never get bored of it. I also encouraged my mother about it, and she finally agreed. We went to Daiso two days later, and we found lots of colourful yarn and hook. My mother bought me blue- and pink-coloured yarn with a 0.7-mm hook, and it was purple-coloured.Unfortunately, the yarn that we bought was actually an acrylic yarn, not wool yarn. But I wouldn't mind since my mother bought it for me. It was the starting point of my becoming a crocheter. 

Here is the harder part of me becoming a crocheter. I had a hard time finding a left-handed crochet tutorial on TikTok. When I search it on YouTube, of course, there are plenty of tutorials of Lefty, but it was not enough. At the end, I just learnt from crochet patterns on Pinterest. My first ever creation was a granny square bag with a sunflower pattern. I spent 1 week to get it done because I am a procrastinator. When I finished my project, I remembered the face of my family reacting to it. They did not believe that I had managed to crochet the bag even though I am a beginner. Well, I can say I am really proud of myself. 

After a month of crocheting, I would say that Im not that expert but better than before. Of course my fingers swelled a lot but I never give up.

In conclusion, crocheting has teached me to be more patient and always trust the process. It also teached me to not give up easily. I would recommend this hobby for those who love silent and indoor activity.

Weekly Journal 1:

My New Discovery

This week, I discovered a band named Malice Mizer, a Visual Kei (vkei) band. The band was active from 1994 to 2001.

At first galance, I thought this band's costume was really weird because one of the members was literally cross dressing. I forgot to mentioned, I knew the existence of this band through TikTok and it was an edit of an anime character that used one of their song, which is 'Ma Cheri'. The song itself is really unique as it has a historical vibe to it which made me addicted to it.

I tried to listen to all their songs, and I can say it is indeed addictive. The main vocalist voice is really calming and soothing. I don't know why the Japanese are really obsessed with French people dress but they portrayed it flashier than the actual outfit that French people usually dressed.

All in all, I really recommend listening to this band if you want to change your taste in music. This band will make you fall in love instantly like I did. Happy listening guys!

Introduction

Hi, my name is Nurlaila Zamirah Binti Mohd Zamzam. I am currently 18 years old and i was born at Hospital Besar Kuala Terengganu on 6 February 2006. I have two big brothers and i am the last child. My hobbies include drawing, painting, crocheting, and playing video games on my nintendo switch. I have a seven years old male cat named Latte and I used to have a male ragdoll cat named Susu who sadly died 5 years ago. For your information, I also watch anime but not really often since I am too lazy to watch full episode of it. My absolute favourite anime is Osomatsu-San and Naruto. I guess that is it about me.
