In my head and heart, Bobby Nash is alive and well and in Los Angeles with his family. And since I now consider 8x04 the end of the series, Bobby will remain alive and well.

I am not at all confident that he will be that way on the show again. As nice as it is to speculate about a “government lab theory.” I don’t think it’s likely to happen. 😢

And since I haven’t said it in a while - to Tim Minear, ABC and anyone else involved in this dumbass decision

they really decided what was needed was a subplot specifically dedicated to reminding the viewer of how hot angela bassett and peter krause are.

they said these middle aged characters roleplay. they bring their uniforms home for Non Work Related Purposes. they fuck nasty when the kids are out. they get all dressed up and very sexily pretend to rob a casino for some reason.

If they had just killed him, had his funeral, let everyone grieve, and be done with it; I would have been more excepting of his death. Would I have liked it??? Hell no!!! But, in the end, it is what it is. ESPECIALLY IF IT WAS HIS CHOICE TO LEAVE (which it wasn’t).

But instead of doing that I feel like they’ve constantly left us hanging on a thread, that it’s not all as it seems. There have been too many little Easter eggs (imagery, wording, music) that keep me holding on to hope, no matter how much I want be practical about it all.

If he is really gone, the rewatch value for me is gone as well and while I will forever love and support the cast, I’m still not sure about watching any further. If he’s not🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻, while I understand the attraction of and plot possibilities of the government holding him; personally I’m hoping for it all to be someone’s dream/nightmare (I think Athenas; because it feels like the whole thing and the afterwards lean in to more of her fears and insecurities). I feel like it would explain away a lot of the inconsistencies, rushed storylines, and bad writing for the second half of the season.

I understand that we may not all have the same feelings and that some may think some Alobbys are grasping with the ‘Easter eggs’, but… I saw them, if you didn’t, that’s you; maybe our minds just work differently.

Also, I think the show forcing an actor out and then having his character say “I don’t want to go.”, was a shitty move…
