HELL YEAH???? LITERALLY NEVER TOO OLD TO START WRITING. NEVER TOO OLD TO WRITE AND SHARE YOUR FIC.

her enthusiastic "i'm a very nice and bubbly person, i swear! but i love writing angst and major character death :)" nearly took me the fuck out.

decided to go lurking and something caught my eye. As a person who doesn’t feel romantic attraction, I feel comfortable talking about this.

Gather children, it’s time for me to tell a story. It was closing night at my show. My friend had one of the leads, and she was doing her bows. I was staring at her the whole time, not because I wanted to kiss her or anything, because happiness was literally radiating off of her. She was honestly insanely pretty at that moment, and I’m going to be honest, to a person who didn’t know what aroace means, or that I am, they would’ve thought I had a crush on her. News flash, I wasn’t. I just had so much love and pride for her in that moment. Not to mention that English sucks because there’s only one word for love.

now sure, there are different standards of friendship for women and men but let’s flip it on its head. If Michael and David were female, would people still ship them? Probably not, they’d just say that they were average friends, nothing "relationship-like" because that’s what society has normalized.
