Every so often this song gets irrevocably trapped inside my head. I dunno why. Maybe it's the layers of acoustic guitars followed by the simple-yet-effective distorted guitars in the chorus. Maybe it's the drumming. Maybe it's the deadpan vocal delivery. I dunno, it's just catchy as hell. You can tell by the music video that the band members are all art students from 90s France though.

New Babymetal song just dropped.

Pacing myself with new content cos posting too much at once throttles your reach, so *maybe* I'll wrote something about this tomorrow. But either way, rather enjoying the folky bounce of this track.

A new EP review? that's rare.

Still struggling to get back into the rhythm of it (proof? I wrote this at 11pm and have to leave for work in the morning). But here's a short one. Discrepancies are a rad band. Check them out.

Tumblr’s “For You” section keeps suggesting posts about a certain singer who’s been re-recording albums recently (who I won’t mention by name because that would give Tumblr an excuse to flood my recs with even more posts about her). Even though nothing about my account suggests I would be remotely interested?

I had something of a crisis of faith in my ability to write over the past year, partly exasperated by a number of personal issues I won't go into. But here's my first review in over a year. It's a short one but something I've wanted to write for a while because Aurore are not a band to be slept on.
