almost daily i see people describe fascists as schizophrenic and psychotic because "they must be mentally ill to be bad people".

it's so fucking weird to me that people can't accept that humans have the capacity to simply be fucking assholes, and that has literally nothing to do with mental health?? humans can be corrupt, evil, fucking terrible cunts and still be entirely neurotypical. so please for the love of fuck: stop saying bad actions only ever come from mental health causes. it is statistically completely inaccurate and hugely stigmatising.

(also, not to mention how offensive it is to say "fascists are only bad because they're mentally ill" when fascists literally came for disabled people with schizophrenia, psychosis, autism first and lined them all up and shot them in psych wards?? eugenics is a huge part of fascism and you're not helping by saying bigoted, stigmatising, pro-eugenics bullshit).

been living under a rock for a year and now in videos all these people are making schizophrenia jokes and its not ending 😭 they swapped out "am i crazy/ insane for seeing a pattern?" with "am i schizophrenic for seeing a pattern?" knockit off. or my favorite is hearing jokes about delusions too. its like a monkey paw sometimes you know.
