When I was a kid, I thought those pillars went down to the sea floor.
In reality, they usually go down to some large submerged floats.

it’s so frustrating how often there are no accessible alternatives for things disabled folk need to succeed. i have an exam tomorrow and i really need to be studying, but i just took a nap immediately after class. and there’s a review session in half an hour and im so exhausted i don’t know if I’ll have the energy to get there and sit through it. and im extra tired because of my adhd meds, which i need to even do my work and concentrate in the first place. and there’s no option to do it online so whenever i ask if there’s a way to get help, the answer is always the same: “come to in-person reviews and office hours to get the help you need.” im just so tired of being tired and not being able to get help and even just needing help in the first place. idk this post doesn’t have a point im just frustrated

by far the best ad I’ve gotten on this app entirely because I tried rotating it out of sheer curiosity and absolutely nothing happened

yesterday I got the “are you a boy or are you a girl” question from a six-year-old, and I told her that some people aren’t boys or girls (like me!) I was expecting her to be a little confused, but she nodded thoughtfully and said, “wow, just like snails.”
