Oggi mi sono vestita un po’ dark e sono andata a prendere il gelato. Una delle gelataie palesemente è lella, e mi ha servita, ho preso un cono con due palline e un cucchiaino extra . È andata a prendere il cucchiaino, e mentre me lo dava ha detto grazie, io ho sorriso e ho risposto grazie, e lei ha ridetto grazie con un sorriso enorme e un po’ imbarazzato. Mi piace quando ho un certo effetto sulle ragazze. Poi lei è molto carina :)

Scrivere guida culinaria per italiani sprovveduti all’estero

because i struggle with reading digitally i'm reading trimax in italian cos i could get them as physical copies :)

so, it's been known that italians love to embellish translations and often go more by vibe than accuracy, and so far trimax has had some really gorgeous dialogue

anyway, when i got to this beautiful scene in vol 4. i thought wow i need to know what he says in the english translation <3

and it's vaguely the same in italian but at the same time the meaning changed completely ...

translation from italian by me, as literal as possible:

"But, you can rest easy. As long as I am by your side, you won't be forced to get your hands dirty. I'll deal away with any obstacles."

it puts a an entirely different light on wolfwood's and vash's dynamic with each other - the implications, the loyalty

I finished reading the metamorphosis by kafka and i cried so hard. I felt strange emotions and strong sadness and compassion. Fanfics aren’t doing it anymore guys i think i’m stuck reading kafka for a year or so now
