Idol!Harry / exec!Severus AU

Harry, Draco, Cedric, and Blaise are part of a 4-man wizard idol group of four 17 year olds in an open-magic world, and Severus is an executive in Marvolo, the company that owns Malfoy Productions.

Harry went viral on the Muse app for his dancing, his magic, and general sunny disposition and snark and has a huge follower base. He is by far the most famous of the four and the group is built around him.

Draco is popular on Muse for his covers and violin. He's also been in a few teen dramas that weren't so well-rated.

Cedric is a golden boy who's good at everything except he can't rap to save his life.

Blaise is a classically trained musician thanks to his family but rebelled when he decided to go into music for real. He writes some of their music. They do pop and hip-hop.

Because of how Draco and Harry behave as frenemies in interviews and posted Muse videos together joke-flirting, their views exploded, and so management decided to have them play up their "bromance". This plays out over two years.

In reality, Harry is sleeping with a Marvolo executive, Severus Snape.

They first met when Harry was sent to "entertain" Riddle, the CEO of Marvolo corp. Snape was in the room, as was Lucius.

Snape realises that Harry was Lily's son, and so drops a crisis in Riddle's lap. Charms a single statement muffled to tell Riddle that Grindlewald may be planning a merger with Phoenix. The truth was he was only considering it. It wasn't likely.

Riddle loses his good mood entirely and immediately goes to the balcony to call his secretary to get a meeting.

Snape is looking down at Harry imperiously from the leather seat with his legs crossed. Harry thought Draco's father was insufferably pompous and conceited despite being beautiful, and this hook-nosed, unattractive looking man was unnerving. Harry hoped he didn't have to service all three of them. He'd never even slept with anyone, nevermind three men. He supposes Riddle was at least ridiculously handsome but he was sure he couldn't get it up for the last of them. He'd rather not entangle with any of them—Riddle certainly seemed to have no scruples about taking advantage of underage idols.

Lucius asks Harry how well he's doing in WIX. Snape just stares at him with a dark, piercing gaze. Lucius excuses himself to the balcony.

S: "Tell me, Mr Potter. Do you usually whore yourself like this?"

H: "Do you usually participate in exploiting young idols or do you just watch?"

"Arrogant. Just like your father. You look just like him."

Harry furrows a brow at this man. Before he can figure out how the man knows his father, the other two step back in, but dismiss Harry and make to leave early.

"Severus. Take this boy back."

Snape apparates Harry near his flat, but get into a huge argument. Harry manages to hugely offend Snape.

Only later, after explaining what happened to Draco, is he told that Snape had saved his arse. He certainly didn't do the same for Draco when his own father handed him over to Riddle. Harry felt sick hearing about it. Riddle and Lucius were both monsters—and Snape wasn't far behind, simply letting it happen.

Harry eventually heads over to Marvolo to apologise and thank Snape in person, but obviously the man is too busy. He left a note but encountered the man on the way out and carries out his original plan. Then he asks, "Sir... Why do you keep staring at me?" "Sir, now, am I?" Harry flushes at the man's dominant tone. "Your eyes. They're Lily's. Though darker." "...You knew my mum?" Snape only scoffed in answer.

They meet inexplicably several more times, and Harry finds out Snape was his mother's best friend growing up and that his father didn't take kindly to that. They have more conversations, particularly on the roof of Malfoy Prod when Snape smokes there. Snape is seated with his legs crossed and looking at Harry next to him on the bench.

At some point, he catches Snape's eyes running down his body and on his arse, then looking away.

Snape finds out that Harry is emancipated and living alone. He says Lily wouldn't have accepted Petunia raising him and leaving him to this. He essentially becomes Harry's sugar daddy.

Harry is already the darling of WIX, but Snape uses his influence to make sure Harry gets all the resources he needs. He keeps Riddle distracted. Replaces Harry's dance shoes. Orders him food if Harry is too tired from practice. Brings up Harry's name for expensive brand deals. Gives Harry expensive cufflinks when they sell out a large venue.

Draco and Blaise both notice the difference in treatment, though they don't know who Harry's mysterious benefactor is; they just assume it's the company.

Harry and Draco continue to play up their "closeness" on shows, interviews, etc. They do actually have a degree of closeness, but Draco knows Harry isn't serious. Fans overanalyse their interactions at interviews, shows, and social media. They appear in more and more photoshoots and magazine spreads featured together.

This is common industry practice, and Snape knows about it and doesn't even blink over it. (in this world's e.asianified BL manhwa entertainment industry lol)

WIX's other members overhear Harry's phone calls. They can tell by Harry smiling softly and responding to doting questions that someone seems to be "taking care of him", even if he seems to be snide sometimes with the man over the phone. Sometimes they hear them arguing, like for instance Harry saying he doesn't need this and that, the others will resent him for it.

Draco asks his father, but Lucius says it's not Malfoy Productions. Someone more powerful.

Tom doesn't invite Harry again, though he doesn't know why. Perhaps he lost interest. Or perhaps Snape had something to do with it.

When Marvolo is hosting a private party for investors and has WIX attend, management briefs them on who they'll need to talk to and prioritise. Snape is also there to give Harry additional instructions and check in with him and talk to him. Draco catches them flirting. His eyes widen when he realises Snape is Harry's benefactor.

"Holy hell, Potter. Are you sleeping with an exec?" Harry shakes his head. "He hasn't touched me. Yet." Draco gapes at his luck.

Harry starts keeping Snape on the phone. He could get addicted to the man's voice, even as the man alternates between chiding him and checking in on him.

Snape doesn't actually have time, but he also doesn't sleep much. Harry knows this, that Snape is rearranging his time for him.

Harry waits for the man to make a move on him, but he never does. He asks if the man was still in love with his mother. Snape says he doesn't know. (He doesn't know if he loved her or if he was obsessed with the idea of her.) "What about me? Do you want... me?" "...Don't ask stupid questions, boy."

Harry smiles at him with his eyes half open in a glinting green, chin tilted up knowingly. Snape finds him terribly seductive. He taps his cigarette.

Harry makes his way up to him and climbs onto the man's lap. "I saw the way you watched me while I was on stage the other day."

Snape looked at him hungrily, but that day, his eyes had blazed with want. "Oh?"

Harry wraps his arms around Snape's neck and speaks in the man's ear. "You looked like you wanted to pull me away and ravish me in my dressing room."

Snape inhaled his scent. Ran his hands up the teen's back. Snape says in a low voice, "Do you know what you're doing, Harry?"

Harry nods. Then shakes his head. "Not really, but... I was hoping... you'd make the first move. I've gotten tired of waiting. I think you should just... take what you want, Sir."

Snape grasps him by the neck and crashes their lips together. It sets Harry aflame. Snape explores his mouth with a fervent need and runs his hands all over Harry's body and kneads his arse. Harry helplessly moans into the kiss, and grinds up into the man's growing need.

Snape lifts him by the buttocks and carries him into the bedroom in Harry's flat even as they're stripping each other's clothes the entire way before falling into bed together.

Snape and Harry start dating. Harry has to go out in polyjuice, but Snape takes him to lavish restaurants to wine and dine him, sometimes with producers.

They have dinner with Tom, who seems to know about them. ("So, it seems you have stolen Severus' eye.")

Lucius also invites them to dinner at a hotel restaurant, and Draco is there as well. Draco and Harry are photographed together out of context and Draco has to post on Bluesky, "omg relax. We were with my father and a corporate VP of talent. Schmoozing not smooching. Though Potter seems very smoochable. I wouldn't know." Harry replies "I wouldn't smooch you even if I had to choose between you, a giraffe or a horse 😔" "All that tells me is that you have a thing for quadrupeds" Blaise comments "Too bad he's a Malfoy and has never learned to crawl." People go nuts and scream elsewhere that they hope Draco crawls in front of Harry. Blaise's account posts again. "I've confiscated Blaise's phone. LOL—Cedric" Harry laughs at the thread while on Severus' sofa. Aside from Draco, none of them would ever know Harry was the one on all fours in the older man's office.

Harry walks into Severus watching old recordings of his shows. Harry finds out Severus wrote the Prince films he always really liked from 10 years ago.

Severus buys him suits and gala outfits, dresses Harry in the very clothes he wants to take off. A tailored piece by Grindlewald in emerald, dark grey, and black. Designer glasses and the best seats for the Quidditch season at Severus' side (with them both in disguise). A watch with a lion and snake.

He gets Harry's favourite choreographers involved with WIX.

Severus falls in love with Harry singing Audrey Hepburn to him on the couch, head in the boy's lap. His mother loved those movies.

WIX's next album concept is very Phantom of the Opera. Severus had brought Harry to a performance once, months ago. He suggests the idea to Narcissa, an executive producer. Harry and Cedric's outfits on stage are ruched and white with star-like embellishments on their white suits. The outfits are both feminine and boyish. Draco wears the half-mask and a half-cloak, while Blaise's sports a white venetian mask with an outfit clad in black.

The album after that is very Garden of Eden. Draco posted a Muse of himself seductively eating an apple and the rest of the team would not stop making jokes about it. Harry on Bluesky: "It is obscene what he is doing to that poor apple." commenters: "He wishes that apple were him 😭" In the music video, Harry is Eve and Draco is the snake, though. That very Eve is the one Severus desecrates in his bed.

Severus and Harry meet in hotels when the latter is on tour. Severus brings revitalization potions so that he can fuck the boy until he can't walk but Harry can still perform the next day.

Harry enjoys giving Severus lap dances and teasing the man until he loses control and screws him over the paperwork.

When Severus deals with insomnia (the potions are addictive) and Harry isn't there to fuck into exhaustion, he writes. Severus hadn't submitted any of his scripts in many years. Inspiration finally hits him. One of the main roles was written with Harry in mind. By this point, Harry has had one other role. Severus knows Harry is a natural.

Narcissa absolutely wants it made, and Lucius decides to invest in it. Filming doesn't happen until Harry's 19. When the trailers hit, old Prince fans come out of the woodwork. The film stars Kingsley Shacklebolt as an anti-hero in a revenge story and Harry Potter as the boy who tethers his humanity. Blaise lands a minor role in the movie as well. Cedric is already in a YA vampire movie. Draco's putting out solo albums.

Harry jokingly replies "We're breaking up 😔 I can't be with someone who disrespects Remus Lupin" on one of Draco's Instagram posts. Draco: "He doesn't like that I found his werewolf bodice ripper novels and dragged him for it :(" Harry: "I can't believe someone would do that. Just lie on the internet. I prefer vampires @ cedricd" The Drarry RPF fandom implodes. 😱 because they tone down the fanservice by 80% after lol.

When the movie finally premieres (Harry is ~20), Harry dangles off the arm of the first public appearance of Prince. The muggle audiences take it worse than the Wizarding ones. The films using the Prince's scripts are critically acclaimed, but Severus Snape is unattractive and twice Harry Potter's age. People think it must not actually mean anything.

When the film actually comes out, it's a box office success and Kingsley gets nominated for awards. They go to the BAFTAs together. Some people change their tune, while many cite concerns of exploitation. The drama of the publicity actually drives up ticket and CD sales.

Harry eventually says in an interview, "I think I fell in love with the Prince when he was feeding me lines in my kitchen. He was very concerned that my lack of acting experience might be an issue for the role. I respected his work a lot because his films were some of my favourites growing up, but we clashed when we first met. He is not nice. But when I said the lines to him, he would look at me solemnly, and I felt like he was staring straight into my soul. Like he had been waiting for me his whole life. Oh. He doesn't have free time, by the way. He just cuts into his sleep, and he does that just to see me. Came after his meetings and just hashed out the script with me. It was a lot of things like that."

It is partly a lie. Harry fell in love with Severus far earlier, of course, and he can name thirty other moments he fell in love more and more with Severus Snape.

Harry chokes when people on social media start calling Severus "Daddy" or Harry's "Daddy". On Muse, he posts "You guys are horrible. I called him that and he flustered and threw me out." "is he your sugar daddy" "Hey! I'm pretty rich myself, you know! I don't really use my money that much though. But... yes. He likes lavishing me with expensive gifts. He furrows his brow at me when I do it back... like this. Unless it's expensive alcohol.I used to argue with him about it, but I think it satisfies his possessive streak the whole length of the Black Lake. Ah well. He's happy and I'm happy."

Harry posts a Muse video with his head on Severus' chest. Severus' head is cut off from the video, and the camera is facing Harry. Severus is singing Music of the Night to him in a low voice. Nothing special, but... Harry's eyes gleam, utterly besotted.The caption says "My Phantom 😍🥺" It goes viral. 65% of the Drarry RPF shippers flip. Some are like "What about Draco!!" In comments, Harry replies "@draconis wet noodle, I'll never forget u. xox" Draco: "god he's so. can I steal him?" Harry: "🔪🍏"
