Gratitude with a kiss

“Thanks for helping me, Dean.” Said Castiel after they finished his hunt with Raphael. Dean was about to open the door of the Impala, while responding the angel with a half smile on his proud face.

“Not mention it, buddy…” But he was cut off by Castiel who was roughly kissing him on the lips all of the sudden. It was a quick kiss that let Dean without any reaction, his eyes wide open, and the Angel cutting the kiss so fast as he’d started it.

Dean was watching him in awe.

“Thank you.” Repeated Cas. Dean blinked, and his cheeks felt a little hot.

“What…what was that?” Asked the hunter, not knowing what else to say. Cas tilted his head in that adorable way, and somewhat confused, he said innocently…

“That was my gratitude… I’m very grateful, so I gave you my gratitude.”

“With… A… Kiss?"wanted to know Dean, something was very wrong in there. He suspected Cas didn’t know the real meaning of what he had just done. And damn he was feeling those warm lips still on his. He shook his head because the feeling was filling him with some strange warm and electric sensations all over his body.

"Yes. I saw people doing that very often.” Answered Castiel, very sure of himself. Dean blinked again. When, the really fuck, had seen Cas people gave their gratitude with a kiss on the lips? He was about to ask again, but Castiel continuing the explanation, “You know, I saw a man giving a woman some flowers, and she said thank you, and kissed him in gratitud. Then I saw a man saying goodbye to another, and he said tank you for helping me today, and they kissed. Then I saw a girl…”

“It’s ok… It’s ok… I think… I think you are right on there but…” Dean interrupted him, now Cas seemed a little confused and ashamed.

“Did I do something wrong?” He said. And Dean couldn’t avoid that gaze, that sweet, puppy, blue eyes staring at him like… Fuck the entire society. Gratitude with a kiss is a good thing.

“Not, you are not… But I guess you… Maybe made it a little… Fast and… Rough… The kiss I mean.” Dean couldn’t believe himself saying those things to this innocent angel. He felt like a devilish teacher. He approached Cas, swallowing hard, and looking at him in the eyes, he said. “I’ll show you…”

“Of course… I need to know more about human behavior.” And Castiel prepared himself, gazing back at Dean, with such an intensity, Dean couldn’t help it anymore. He had to swallowed hard again. Then the hunter put both of his hands on Castiel’s shoulder…. They felt firm and muscled… Damn… He was a fucking pervert.

“Thank you CAS for rebel against Heaven for me.” He said… Almost in a whisper. Cas parted his lips in anticipation, and Dean leaned for a kiss… He gave Cas a sweet, slow, and tasteful kiss. And now he was lost on it. Holly fucking shit! That felt like the best hot damn kiss he had had like… Ever! So warm… And soft… And Castiel moving following his lead… Those lips were addictive. He needed to stop right now, before he…

“But… If you are really, really grateful… You need to be more precise…” Dean said inches away from the angel’s heavenly lips. Cas fixed his blue eyes with Dean’s. The hunter felt his knees were weak. And his hands began to squeezing Castiel’s shoulder subconsciously. He bit his lower lip and his eyes dropped to that pink and gorgeous mouth. Why he has to be this hot.

“I want to know… Beacuse I’m really grateful… With you…” Murmured Castiel, sincerely. Dean swallowed again…

“Thanks for pulling me back from Hell…” The hunter whispered, and went for that new kiss. This time he ventured his tongue inside Castiel’s mouth, and the angel gasped, but he let him in. Now it was time for pressing his bodies one against the other. Obviously, the angel had more strength, and he pushed Dean on Baby. Dean moaned when he felt the angel’s heavy weight against him. His hands were now on Cas’s back and the angel had Dean strongly grabbed by the hips. They needed to stop… That was the limit. Dean wanted more and more… But that was enough lessons for one day.

Dean cut the kiss and released Castiel, breathing heavily.

“O… Ok buddy… This… Was…”

Cas was gazing at him again, with those beautiful eyes. Dean was already regretting his decision of stop the “gratitude lesson”.

“Was that ok?” Said Cas innocently again, giving two or three steps back, so Dean could stand more comfortably.

“Ye…yeah… I should say that was… ” He cleared his throat somewhat ashamed. He felt like a horrendous person. “That was a wonderful gratitude.” And now the angel was smiling… Great. He felt like a monster that took advantage of a sweet and beautiful creature, just because he was horny.

After that, Castiel flew away. Leaving Dean alone in the Impala. He turned around and Patted the car.

“This will be a long night, babe.” He said, getting on the Car.

He arrived at the motel and Sam was talking with Castiel, his red alert lighting up when he heard Cas saying… “Thank you Sam” and saw how CAS was approaching his brother with the clear intention of kissing him. Sam just gave two steps back with a WTF!? Expression all over his face.

“Wait! Cas??!! What the hell are you…??!!” Sam started to say when Dean put himself between the two men.

“Ok, stop, Cas!” Dean shouted in despair, and now Sam was more confused than before.

Cas opened his eyes slowly and put his “kissing lips” back to normal.

“Dean, I was trying to give my gratitude to Sam because he gave me a beer…”

“What?! You was about to kiss me!” Yelled Sam, Dean turned around to watch his brother, asking him with a wink to just calm down.

“He is just confused…"murmured Dean to his brother, Sammy frowned, but then he heard something Castiel’s said, and everything was clear as water.

"But Dean, you’ve just teached me how to be grateful with a kiss, and when you are very very grateful you use your tong…”

“Whoa whoa whoa!!! STOP RIGHT THERE BUDDY!!” Dean laughed awkwardly, glancing at his brother, he sensed it was late, beacuse Sammy was crossing his arms on his chest, looking at him with scolding eyes.:“the guy is confused….” He murmured again, at the same time his brother saw how Castiel was tilting his head.

“Oh… Is that so…?” Asked Sam “And tell me, Dean… Is he confused with the gratitude gesture part… Or the tongue part?” Dean drowned in his own saliva.

“I don’t understand… I was doing wrong?” Asked Castiel, blinking.

“Yes, Cas… Very wrong.” Said Sam, passing by his brother. “Normal people don’t go around kissing in the lips because they are grateful. Those are couple’s stuffs.” Dean was still drowning and coughing. Sam heared him, but he just rolled his eyes.

“But Dean told me…” Started Cas.

And Sammy replied, “Dean has a crush on you. It means he likes you.”

“HE KISSED ME FIRST!!” accused the big brother pointing at the angel. He was red as a tomato.

“I thought I was being grateful… I was wrong…"murmured Castiel, his mind was a mess. But then his ideas were getting on line. "Wait… Then… The other kisses… You… Just… And the tongue part?”

“Ok… I’m done. I need to go somewhere, you need to talk. Goodbye.” Said Sam, getting out from there like gacela.

Dean was still blushing, Castiel was now inches from his face. Dean couldn’t raised his eyes and face him.

“You lied to me.” The angel confronted him.

“Look, Cas… I’m… I’m sorry…”

“If you wanted to kiss me, you just had to say it.” Interrupted Castiel, Dean was about to say something, but then he just realized what the angel had just said.

“What?"asked the hunter, fixing his confusing gaze with Castiel’s blues. And Holly fucking heaven, Cas was smiling at him in such a beautiful way, he took the hunter’s breath away.

"I like you too…” The angel replied, kissing him softly and sweetly, giving Dean time to adjust to the new discover. Castiel stopped and looked at him waiting for something. Dean was stunned. He blinked and then, shyly smiling at the angel, he said…

“I need to be very grateful now…”

“With the tongue part?” Asked Cas, Dean chuckled.

“Hell yeah, come over here.” And they kissed again, as if that was the first time.

I hope you like this fluffy thing, is something I had on my mind while I was writing my Destiel chronicles.

A Pillar of Salt in 14x19 (Jack in the Box)

Catching up British-time, as ever, so this is my first piece of meta for the episode, written ”blind” as usual - before checking out what everyone else has to say!

SAM: “His body was crystallised, into a block of salt.”

DEAN: “Salt, why does that sound familiar?”

CAS: “It’s pillar of salt, it’s Biblical… Lot’s wife, punished by Heaven…”

This is the only time in the episode that Dean and Cas are, for a moment, side by side, not exactly on the “same side”, but shot close together (above) as they make brief, somewhat painful, eye-contact - whilst Cas recalls the story of Lot’s wife

We all know that story is part of the tale of Sodom and Gomorrah from Genesis, upon which two cities, God rained “brimstome and fire” for their “iniquity” (often interpreted to be the sin of homosexuality):

Indeed, Sodom and Gomorrah have become synonymous with the supposed Biblical condemnation of homosexuality, although that interpretation is disputed amongst priests and scholars - see for example Robert Gnuse (2015) “Seven Gay Texts: Biblical Passages Used to Condemn Homosexuality” Journal of Bible and Culture. Vol 45, Issue 2:

Choosing a pillar of salt as the first Biblically-inspired murder Jack (under Dumah’s influence) commits, is deliberate and significant in the subtext. Because, Dean and Cas’ fight (continuing on from 14x18) is framed (by reference to this Biblical story associated with homosexuality) as a lovers’ quarrel (in subtext). This is all the more potent because what Dean and Cas are fighting about, is the fate of their adopted son Jack, a Nephilim, the product of angel/ human congress.

Jack (precisely because he is the product of angel/ human congress) has always symbolised (in subtext) Dean and Castiel’s “forbidden” love, so (again, in subtext) Dean is (in 14x19) “boxing” (repressing/ closeting/ locking in the Ma’lak box) that love, whilst Cas is fighting desperately to save it.

The Ma’lak box, remember, has (in subtext) already been established as a potent symbol of the closet, most obviously thanks to the scenes of Dean building the box in Donna’s cabin, surrounded by 1970s gay-porn-alike male cowboy pin-ups in 14x11 Damaged Goods:

This is (one) narrative reason why, as painful as it is to witness, Dean (not Sam) is the one pushing for Jack to be locked in the box. Because it makes, tragic, sense in the queer subtext of the narrative:

This is why we see Jack (subtextual symbol of Dean and Cas’ “forbidden” love) panicking and alone in the Ma’lak box (subtextual symbol for the closet) using his phone as a flashlight:

in a way that deliberately mirrors Dean’s own nightmare at the start of 14x12 Prophet and Loss (also a Bucklemming episode) about being alone, locked and panicking in the Ma’lak box (subtextual symbol for the closet of his own making);

For those reading Supernatural in its queer subtextual register, Dean and Castiel’s 14x18 and 14x19 fight resonates with all the love (and anxiety about that love) that remains unspoken between them. Castiel’s understanding that to love a human is to break Heaven’s “most sacred oath” (12x10 Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets) for which the penalty is death (and 12x10 is all about the supposed creation of a Nephilim). Castiel’s decision, on his apparent death-bed, in 12x12 Stuck in the Middle with You, to speak that love anyway: “I love you…. I love all of you.” This links (subtextually) to Castiel’s decision to fight so hard for Jack.

Dean’s failure to say, “I love you” back, with words (although, of course, the mix-tape in 12x19 The Future, was his attempt). Dean’s abject grief and initial rejection of Jack whilst Cas was dead, at the start of S13 (which - dramatic irony claxon - we know all about, but Cas does not). Castiel’s deal trading his own life (the moment he allows himself to be happy) for Jack’s, with the Shadow in 14x08 Byzantium (which - dramatic irony claxon - we know all about, but Dean does not).

Dean and Castiel’s 14x18 and 14x19 fight, over Jack’s fate (in subtext, the symbol of their “forbidden” love) takes place in the midst of all these unspoken things. And notice how they mirror one another in this fight:

DEAN (finger pointing at Cas in 14x18): “You are dead to me!”

CAS ( finger pointing at Dean in 14x19) “Even after hearing what I said, you wanna keep Jack sealed in a living death?”

DEAN: “He agreed to it, because deep down I think he knows it’s best.”

CASTIEL: “No, you’re doing what Dumah… You’re manipulating him!”

In the subtext, where Jack represents their love, “sealed in a living death” resonates (miserably) as a metaphor for the closet. It also provides tragic fore-shadowing. Because, what Dean does not know, is that their love is already in effect, in a state of “living death”, because Castiel has sold himself to the Shadow for Jack (specifically, should he ever achieve happiness - and we all know, in subtext, that a declaration of love from Dean would make Cas truly happy).

This is also not the first time Sodom and Gomorrah have been mentioned in Supernatural, either.

In 11x20 Don’t Call Me Shurley, Metatron mentions these very cities to Chuck as one of his “greatest hits”:

METATRON: “Really? This – (METATRON holds up the manuscript and flips the pages.) This pile of self-doubt and nebbishness flooded the Earth?”

(CHUCK crosses his arms)

METATRON: “Followed up Sodom with a blockbuster Gomorrah? Created as much as he punished? No! Unh-unh! The guy I worked for – total badass! And yes, he could be a dick. Now, that guy… had some stories to tell. And he has a lot to answer for.”

Then, in the next episode, 11x21 All in the Family, Dean and Chuck (and notice it is Dean, not Sam) also have an exchange about Sodom and Gomorrah:

DEAN: “Here’s the thing, um…Chuck… And I mean no disrespect. Um… I’m guessing you came back to help with the Darkness, and that’s great. That’s, you know – It’s fantastic. Um, but you’ve been gone a – a… long, long time. And there’s so much crap that has gone down on the Earth for thousands of years. I mean, plagues and wars, slaughters. And you were, I don’t know, writing books, going to fan conventions. Were you even aware, o-or did you just tune it out?”

CHUCK: “I was aware, Dean.”

DEAN: “But you did nothing. And, again, I-I’m not trying to piss you off. You know, I don’t want to turn into a pillar of salt.”

CHUCK: “I actually… didn’t do that.”

11x21 was written, like 14x19 (and 14x12) by Bucklemming, and they often like to “quote” their own previous episodes. So, Jack in the Box recalls Sodom and Gomorrah deliberately to remind us of 11x20 and 11x21 and the fact that Chuck (and remember Chuck has always been a self-send-up stand-in for the writers) does not, in fact, condemn homosexuality.

It was also, of course, in 11x20 (Robbie Thompson’s last episode) that Chuck came out to the audience (but not - dramatic irony claxon - to Dean) as bisexual: “I had some girlfriends. Had a few boyfriends.”

Supernatural continues to tell the love story of Dean and Castiel in subtext (and you all know, by now, that I think it is most likely it will continue to do so up to, and including, the final curtain call) but, that subtext is so carefully, so intrinsically, and so very deeply woven into the fabric of the show.

N.B - of course, the call-backs to 11x20 and 11x21 are also part of the Dabb era Ouroboros narrative in relation to the central SPN theme of fate vs free will (Chuck’s latter-day policy of non-interference being called out by both Dean and Metatron hard in these two S11 episodes); a theme which has already been strongly revisited in S14. These 11x20 and 11x21 call-backs, together with Castiel’s discovery of Joshua’s reproduction of the Samulet in 14x18 Game Night, seem strongly to fore-shadow the return of Chuck.

And, as Jack specifically refers to God as his grandfather this episode (14x19) and has already (14x14 Ouroboros) been linked to Perseus (who slew the Gorgon but who was also fated to kill his grandfather) - colour me intrigued re a Jack/ Chuck encounter.

“How could you say that to Cas?” Asked Sam, looking at his brother in awe. Castiel had just left immediately after Dean threw him in the face the “You are dead to me” unhappy quote. Dean fixed his eyes with his brother.

“Because I’m sick of him.” He snapped at Sam.

“Oh, really? Beacuse I thought Cas was by our side this whole time and he had done more than anyone else. He’s our friend.”

“He lied to us, Sammy!!”

“No, he didn’t. He warned us about Jack, we just didn’t want to believe it. Because we thought the kid was alright.” Sam stayed in his place, waiting for his brother’s reaction. But the older Winchester just gave two steps towards the door.

“He should tell us…” Dean started to talk, but Sammy was so done with his classic avoiding behavior.

“What, Dean? What? About the snake?"Dean turned to see him, Sammy was almost yelling at him. Now… Everything looks like without sense… He… Being mad at CAS… And his words… "You know you just said hurtful words to him… Even when… Even when you and me know the mess you was back then… When Cas was dead and we burnt his body, and we thought he will never come back.”

Dean opened his eyes surprised. He never thought he will have this conversation about that with his brother. The hunter swallowed hard, gazing at the ground. He was muted. Sammy was waiting… Waiting for him.

“We… We must find mom now."He just murmured.

Sammy traveled his hand all over his own face in desperate impotency. "Fine, Dean, if you want to continue this way… Denying your feelings for Castiel, is just fine. But stop being a dick with him or you will lose him.” Sam passed by him very upset. It took a couple of minutes to Dean to react. But then he slowly left, closing the door behind him.

When they came back to the bunker they found Mary there, she ran to hug their sons, and the boys couldn’t understand what was happening.

“It was CAS and Chuck, they found me. Cas has his wings back and they took Jack, he is gonna restore his soul.” Said Mary smiling at them. Sam and Dean were in amazement. That sounded like a good dream and they weren’t used to have good dreams.

“Castiel found you and brought you back.” Repeated Dean. Mary nodded. And she saw his first born son’s face now showing a sad expression, with a shade of pain.

“What’s wrong sweetie?"Mary asked, Sam interrupted them.

"He fought with Castiel and… Said things he shouldn’t.” Sam informed, with bitchy face. Mary blinked confused.

“Why? What did you…?”

“Nothing, mom, I need to sleep… I’m… I’m kind of tired. See you later.” Dean said, kissing her in the forehead.

Once in his room, Dean throw his chair against the wall yelling “Son of a bitch!!”

Then he closed his eyes with anger and looking at the cénit he prayed.

“I’m sorry Cas… Please come back… I didn’t mean to… Please don’t go away with your dad and Jack into a galactic travel or wherever… We need you here… I need you here, please…”

The night came, and everyone were sleeping. Dean had fear… Afraid of loosing Castiel for ever… He was an angel after all and now that he found his father, maybe God gave him a new mission, and he knew how CAS was with that… Like a blind soldier… Damn… What if he lose him for ever??? Just will be able to see him someday… In some family reunion situation, and that will feel odd and cold for sure… Fuck Dean Winchester, you screw up the only good thing you have in your life besides family. The man you love… The angel who saved you and renounced everything to follow you, YOU, an idjit, repressed, son of a bitch who doesn’t know how to talk about feelings. He left the empty bottle of beer on the floor, and stood up, he was about to go for another beer at the kitchen, when he heard an old and familiar wings sound.

He turned around and there he was, Dean could see his wings spread out all over his room, and his grace shining blue, so intense, that was so pure and stunning and… Hot. Castiel’s face was fearsome. He looked mad, very mad.

“Cas…?” Asked the hunter, not sure of what to do or say, maybe an apology? But the angel took advantage of Dean’s frozen shape, he pushed him fiercely against the door, and put a hand on his mouth, like that time in the green room, yes… That felt like that time. Dean was amazed. His eyes drop to Cas’s full lips, that energy was intoxicating…

“You are gonna to listen, Dean Winchester. I’m sick of you and your behavior.” Whispered Castiel with such a rough and sexy voice. Damn, little Dean down there, was waking up. “You think you can say wherever you want without facing the consequences… I’m not like everyone else Dean.” Gah… His eyes were so intense, how could they be so blue and shinning and… Cas was breathing so near him, Dean felt he was about to lose it. Now he could feel the angel’s strong body against him. “Guess what?” Cas asked, pushing him harder against the door “It has consequences. You’ve got me thinking about that the whole day now you are going to pay for it.” Mother of Chuck! Yes! He wanted that! Wait… Was he turned on because CAS was so bad ass with him?? He had always loved to watch Castiel smitten demons and monsters and… “I’m gonna release you now, I don’t want to hear any disrespectful comment, so if you have something to say to me, I’ll give you just one shot. Understood?” Dean nodded still hypnotized with Castiel’s eyes and lips. Cas released him, but his bodies were still one against the other. Little Dean was about to explode down there… “Just one thing.” Warned Castiel again. Dean swallowed hard, and his mouth moved by instinct.

“Harder, Cas.” Dean’s eyes were now wide open, he couldn’t believe what he had just said.

Castiel seemed confused. “Harder? What…? What’s that supposed to mean?” The angel said, tilting his head, and yes, Dean was loosing it again…

“Push me harder against the door…” The hunter whispered, ashamed by his own words, he lowered his face blushing furiously. Castiel parted his lips and then he figured out their bodies were in such an intimate position. Now the heat reached his whole vessel.

“Do you… Do you like this? Are you enjoying this?"asked Castiel, breathing with difficulty. Dean noticed the change in Castiel’s tone. The hunter ventured his eyes to face the angel’s, hell yeah, he looked exquisitely turned on.

"Yes. Please. I’m sorry.” Dean murmured. They just stayed looking at each other with hanger in their eyes, then Dean couldn’t resist it anymore, and he pressed his lips brusquely and passionately against Cas’s pink and tasteful lips, those lips he had desired for so long. Castiel responded to the kiss immediately, pushing his body harder against Dean’s. The hunter moaned, this angel had got the message.

Whitout wasting time, Dean’s hands were now undressing Castiel, he will be able to see him naked, so many times he had imagined him like that, in top of him. Yes, he wanted Cas on top.

Their mouths began to fight against each other. That was war. Fuck, where did Cas learn to kiss like this? And now their tongues… Searching for places and exploring with heated passion.

They cut the kiss and Castiel was looking at Dean as if he was his prey. This made little Dean twitch a little.

“I was released from my Sacred Oath, Dean…” Said Cas approaching him, with fire in the eyes, then his wings again, spreading the whole place. Dean was enchanted.

“I can see your wings…” The hunter said, trying to reach them.

“We are about to copulate, Dean… This is a common behavior of my lore.” Said Cas, and hot damn, he looked delicious without any clothes and his wings, his eyes shinning with grace. Dean was amazed. His mouth was dry, and the vision of the angel was overwhelming his whole senses.

“Take me, Cas.” Asked Dean, again his mouth moving by itself. Cas bounced against the hunter and both of them were now on the bed.

They intertwined his fingers, while Castiel gave him sensual kisses following the delicious path of the lines of Dean’s neck.

Dean was about to explode, he needed to do something, that was fantastic but he needed more… Much more from Castiel…

“Cas… Please …” He whispered, Castiel understood the longing coming from him. So he took his lover’s dick in his hand and massage it softly… Then harder and harder. Dean was desperate. “Argh! Castiel! Wait I need … I need you inside of me!” Yelled the hunter, Castiel smirked and put his hand again on Dean’s mouth.

“Sh… You are being too loud.” The angel said, Dean was so submissive to him, damn why Cas was enjoying making him suffer this way? Yes he knew it… He was paying for those words. He even had said “inside of me” not knowing what that means… Fuck he was so damn lost.

Then again, for God’s sake, shining blue eyes and grace in his hands… What was he doing now? Castiel approached a hand on Dean’s entrance, and the hunter felt how he was so ready for the ride.

“I’m using my grace. I won’t hurt you, you are too precious to me, Dean.” Castiel said, kissing him again. Damn, he was so fucking hot, and he kissed so fucking good. Never in his entire life Dean had felt such a passion, and he was so tuned on, and Castiel was taking so long.

Supernatural 14x17 spoiler (a little of 14x18…)

Hello my friends!!! I just saw the new episode and I can tell you, this is a mess… Writers are doing things complicated bc they don’t want us to figure out the end of the season (as we did in season 13 🤣🤣🤣). But I must said this… It breaks my heart, really… Gah… I need my handkerchiefs… 😭

Ok let’s start with this meta here…

Again Castiel… Talking to others while talking to himself

It caught my attention the scene with Anael. When the camera focus the coffee where CAS was waiting for her, you can see an sunset there, again the sun surrending Castiel.

Cas wants to found God… And this is a huge recall to season 5…

Episode 5x02 in which Cas went to tell Dean he wanted to contact God, bc he was sure it was him who relive him and who had saved Dean and Sam. And I just wanted to put that exactly dialogue here, bc what we had seen in the trailer for the next episode… Yes… I know… 😢.

Anael discovered Castiel was lying to the Winchester, is a thing that Cas does when he is worried and don’t want his friends suffer or get hurt. He thinks in his innocent way and bc his big heart, that not saying the truth he is protecting everyone.

Another huge and beautiful thing is… Castiel doesn’t loose faith in his father. Anael is saying God doesn’t care for humanity, but Castiel says he does… And bc Chuck rebuild him so many times…

Anael was here a mirror of Castiel, so it was like talking to himself, when she affirmed: “I’m happy” he observed immediately “You sound lonely”. This here was so so important, it was like present Castiel talking with past Castiel, and ofc, CAS had learned his lesson…

Now he is transmitting what family means to Anael.

And I couldn’t be more happy when Castiel found the Samulet!!! And he took it again in his ands and he called Chuck! Even if God didn’t answer Joshua (the only angel he had talked before the big fall). Another recall to season 5!

Again to this scene, gah! In the season in which Castiel kicked Dean’s ass bc he was about to say yes to Michael!! HUSBANDS FIGHT AGAIN!!!!

So here, they are presenting us the reason why we will have a very huge fight between Dean and Castiel to the point the Hunter said that unhappy phrase (so out of character to me) to CAS: YOU ARE DEAD TO ME.

So I could say, the answer Castiel should give here… Is the first gif I put in this meta. Period. 😤

So this break up, break up as in season 5, 6, 8 and now… (In the middle so many fights, you know?) But this fight and break up I think I saw it coming in episode 14x11… Here is my meta about the spec and about Destiel fights…

So when Anael saw through Castiel again… She saw he was afraid the WINCHESTERS find out the truth… And he is… But not just the truth about Jack… But the truth about the deal with the Empty. He wants to protect them from any burden… But sometimes that’s imposible…

Dark mirror of Profound Bond through dead.

And the creepy mirror with the Profound Bond continues…

I should say… Nick kneeled, opening a door for Lucifer… And Lucifer about to touch his cheek like…???? My head was… Are they going to make this ship canon before Destiel?? 😰 WTF is going on here!!! And so gross that my brain talked to me … (Yes I need profesional opinión Sometimes, so I talk with myself … My brain for being more specific… 😳🤣🤣) And I said to myself THINK ABOUT THIS LIKE A MIRROR! A GROSS, DARK, CREEPY DESTIEL MIRROR AS YOU DID BEFORE IN OTHER METAS WITH NICK AMD LUCIFER!!.

So it was confirmed that THE PROFOUND BOND BETWEEN NICK AND LUCIFER WOKE HIM UP IN THE EMPTY, THROUGH LONGING OF POWER AND REVENGE. As a graphic representation of Destiel Profound Bond between Dean and Cas, through longing of LOVE.

To Conclude

Castiel learned his lesson about family, and by talking with Anael, again he was talking to himself. He has to learn still about WHITE LIES and why he isn’t doing any good by not saying the things, all of this fill him with insecurities and fears.

The call back to season 5 brought us again to that scene I’m 5x02 in the hospital, in which Castiel reproaches Dean all the things he did for him, and how he had failed trying to stop Lucifer. Linking this with next episode trailer and the unhappy-out of character phrase YOU ARE DEAD TO ME, from Dean to Cas.

Castiel calling his father in season 5, not finding him anywhere… But in this season Chuck will answer his prayers… Yes… Because time had passed by… Cas has learned from humans a lot… And is time for Chuck to visit his fav son.

Nick and Lucifer are a dark Destiel mirror, showing us that in Destiel case…

First Meta

Supernatural 14x17 (SPOILER ALERT) Hi beautiful things! I’m so excited (and tight of times) to share with you my first on this platform

Last night, what would be the key episode this season was broadcast.

Buuuuuuut ... I will not analyze what was the plot of it.

I was talking with my dear friend @verobatto-angelxhunter and I commented on this observation, about the colors of the clothes of Jack, Nick and Dean.

Taking into account that the color of the clothes is the reflection of our soul, I was able to interpret:

Dean

For several episodes, our brave and strong hunter wears a black shirt. The black color represents the absence of light. It’s associated with loneliness, suffering, sadness, denial and the antithesis of the visible. However, this color also has a positive meaning: it’s strength and nobility.

In simple words: A Dean who fights with his own demons, but who keeps going for his family.

Nick

In this character, there was a certain "twist" in the color of his clothes, which we can relate to the story of this guy.

In the first scene of Nick, he has a white shirt and jacket: this color is purity, innocence and light.

Before being the vessel of Lucifer, Nick was a normal man with a happy and consolidated family.

Then, we have the interrogation scene: these clothes are stained with blood.

In dreams, blood means pain and danger. Here Lucifer appears in his life, corrupting him in taking away everything he loved.

When Jack "ends" Nick's existence, we can see that by fire all his clothes turn black. Fire, in common terms, we associate with Hell. How Nick's life turned dark and bad after "yes" to Lucifer, to the point of completely consuming his soul.

Jack

My precious nougat (he’s my baby)

Throughout the episode, he wears gray clothes.

This color, in general, is associated with somber feelings. Emotional states such as worry, worry, guilt.

But also to be taken as the color of conciliation and impartiality. In any case, it is a color devoid of passion and emotionality.

In a few words: total instability. It is what Jack is going through the absence of soul, so it has led to perform both good and bad, without distinction of them.

However, let's add to the black jacket with white stripes. Immediately, I associated it with the opposite side of the Chinese symbol "ying - yang", which writers anticipate that Jack "succumbs to the dark side", although his future intentions will be good.

Well, I'm done with this analysis.

Supernatural 14x17 spoiler GAME NIGHT(with some 14x18 spoiler too)

Hello my dear Fandom!! Here I’m with my second meta, if you want to read the first one is here.

Before I start with this, I will need you to read this mini meta I wrote about guilt heritage.

The game was broken (Mary, Sam and Dean)

The game colored red (Dean toxic behavior) and yellow (Sam) was broken, Dean couldn’t fix it… Something is gonna hurt in this episode…

Mary was acting with mother instincts the whole day… She discovered early that something was wrong about Jack’s behavior… And if she could read future, she was talking so lovely with their sons… Every dialogue seemed like a goodbye letter.

And she witnessed the dark side of Jack… Brought by Michael’s grace… Intensifying his father’s essence in him. Burning Nick to death.

She was trying so hard to make Jack to understand he was doing wrong, and that they will help him, because they are family, but at the same time she was afraid of him. Jack noticed this and he also have this dark thought, maybe a desire, Dean and Sam will be mad at him if Mary tell them the truth…

Yes… The game (Dean and Sam) is broken… The game represented Dean and Sam’s childhood, that’s why that was a foreshadow for the sad events that will come in this episode.

First of all, Dean thought Sam was about to die, we had the following scene… Involving games again…

But… their childhood will be broken again… now that we don’t know what happened to Mary… something happened with her, we will see the next episode.

Castiel’s white lies

And as I said before,Castiel is giving the same steps Dean made, healing too. He has to learn, and he will, very painfully, that telling lies to “protect” his family, isn’t right.

He was having this toxic behavior the whole season, first with the Empty, and now with Soulless!Jack.

When he faces Anael, his angelical mirror, he had to confront his fears right inside of him. He had this dialogue I put in the gifs, fears to the truth, he can’t avoid it anymore, he even repeated after her THE TRUTH?? Bc he is afraid of that, he is afraid to tell the truth to Dean and Sam, bc he doesn’t want them to suffer. And because he doesn’t want to face it.

So he carries with the whole backpack by himself. Knowing they have each other, he need to learn how to share bad times too.

Jack… And the guilt heritage.

If you recall the gorgon scene…

The bisexual Gorgon kick out AUMichael from Dean’s head… We could say the Bisexuality/Noah released Dean from Michael .

And immediately after that… Jack killed Michael and literally, ate his grace, he received one of his parents guilt heritage. A very dark and toxic behavior, and he is leading now with that.

Now it was time for Sammy.

Nick hurted Sam head against the car and with a rock, calling him LUCIFER’S PERFECT VESSEL with such jealousy and rage. And now, as we could see in the promo video from 14x18, Jack is seeing Lucifer in his head (as Sammy did in season 7). So this way we could say, Nick released Sam from Lucifer guilt, and now is Jack who is receiving that heritage.

But, in these two cases (Dean/Bisexuality and Sam/Lucifer) we can name CAS as the cause of their cure.

Castiel, being the love interest for Dean, releasing him through his self acceptance, to won’t the battle against REPRESSION of feelings.

Castiel taking Sam’s pain in 7x17 and releasing him from the Lucifer hallucinations.

The equation lead us to CAS having the DECODER RING and THE KEY to solve this mess with Jack… Maybe contacting God… Let’s see.

To conclude:

The game in game night was a representation of Dean and Sam childhood, the problem was it was out of function or broken, foreshadowing the almost Sam’s death and what happened to Mary bye the end of the episode.

Castiel is facing his mistakes, he has to confront his fears to tell his friends the truth, and understand lie to protect his friends, isn’t a good technique. He doesn’t need that burden neither.

Jack is soulless and dangerous, because he can’t distinguish good acts and wrong acts. He is acting by instinct and with logic. But the guilt heritage from his father’s and his dark side, is now powered by Michael’s grace.

The end is coming and I can tell… We are gonna suffer my friends… Let’s hug each other. 😭😭💔

Hello my friends! I’m here with the third meta!!!

This is gonna be large, I hope we can enjoy it!

Kissing you goodbye, lovers separation again

We started the episode with this scenes…

The first place Conrad pass by running was the cinema, and look what are they playing??? Yaaasss Scooby Doo!!! Remember when I said to you PAY ATTENTION IN WHICH EPISODES SCOOBY DOO APPEARS??? Bc this episodes got clues about what is going to happen. So then… This was one of those… Look.

Look in the pic on the glass…. It says SAM AND EV’S (saving this one for my Sammy meta, and my spec about Psyquic!Sammy and Sammy Boy King of evils…. Demons…) But for this meta I want you to pay attention to the couple dancing there… Both of them are looking to differents places (as we noticed with @lapsus-story )One to the right another to the left… Another clue for LOVERS SEPARATION.

Then…

A kissing goodbye, the Castiel’s mirror saying I CAN’T, I MADE A PROMISE. 😏 I’m seeing you, writers. And when they hugged…

Green light! (Healing!Dean), and the most beautiful part was… The place was already closed, but she opened it! 💕

How we could read this? As an spec? Bc we have another clue for a kiss, and is a kiss of goodbye!

So… There will be a love confession from Dean, a kind of rejections from CAS, and there will be maybe a kiss a goodbye kiss, and then they will be separated… How?? Let’s continue…

Dean was everywhere…

When Castiel and Sam entered in Cloverfield Store, there was EL SOL again there…

And the places they visited, Conrad’s room

Green room here, so so symbolic, is Dean, in this Cas’s POV about passionate love vs duty and obedience. I also wanted to point here something @destielette1 saw too, the lady’s dress is GREEN AND BLUE, so interesting that she was with the big gaydar there, i want to invite you to watch this gif-set my friend @agusvedder made with this idea.

Here 👆as I said pink color was everywhere too, Conrad’s house were pink too, and that song that was all over the episode saying…

“He wears tan shoes with pink shoelaces

A polka dot vest and man, oh, man

Tan shoes with pink shoelaces

And a big Panama with a purple hat.”

And if you look this pics… There’s pink milkshake for Castiel with a GREEN light bulb… I mean drinking from a pink queer coded milkshake using the green light bulb??? Should we call this subtext? Or…? Damn…

And the pink letter… Ok I talked about pink color in my first meta but… It means to allow yourself to feel and give love to that one person… Your “half orange”.

There was Mint Condition 14x04 where CAS wasn’t there, but he was everywhere, and there was Optimism, and that thing happened again, and now we have this episode, and it was Dean’s turn to be everywhere this time. Isn’t CAS?

And what about Dean?

Dean was hanging around with Jack, trying to figure out if the kid have a soul… So he decided to do this…

Ok… It was good… But… Angel cake? Really, Dean?

Remember 04x10 “Heaven and Hell”, after Dean had sex with Anna, Uriel appeared in his dream and talked with him, he said CAS wasn’t there bc he likes Dean, and after this Uriel detected what Dean had just done, and he said to him: “You just ate an angel cake, isn’t?” My Chuck, even the episode title was heaven and hell, and Dean gave the kid DEMON/HELL AND ANGEL/HEAVEN cakes. I’m done with this!

And then we had Dean being scared with the snake, remember the snake means SELF KNOWLEDGE, SELF LOVE, SELF ACCEPTANCE. So yes, he is afraid yet to do that but, how my friend @agusvedder told me, he also offered him bacon, bc he was SAD FOR LOOSING HIS BEST FRIEND. (Remember who ate a big amount of bacon bc he had lost his “best buddy” in 13x5?? Yep… I thought so… So he was afraid of the snake but he was interested in that pet, he wanted that pet to feel better, and he was searching for the snake too… Love/fear again.

Ok and then a thing here… About a pic my friend Agus Saw too this…

It looks like the portal to the AUs… So… Lovers separation and another clue for my spec about Dean locked in another AU with AUKaia. Let’s see…

What about Jack?

I will put here this pic…

My friend @lapsus-story noticed the book in the back “BACK TO LIFE” as a reference to WINCHESTERS’S story, and Jack initiation. But it was interesting how Donnie was referencing to how was not to have a soul. He said it was like a BLACK HOLE, like EMPTY. It was a symbolic recall to the bid bad from next season, the Empty. And behind Jack you can see a very dark picture about a man, alone, walking on a path. I’m afraid about the darkness there… Related to Amara, and soulless Donnie, and maybe Soulless Jack, and bc he mentioned he need to be alone sometimes, but his family was always there…

To conclude

This episode was a huge huge symbolic one, with a very specific focus in Castiel’s romantic POV and full of clues for specs… There was also another clue for holding hands, when CAS took Sunny’s hand on the Milkshake store. But I can’t put more pics!

But yes, keep in mind all this data, and let’s wait for the next episode, enjoy the subtext and the visual narrative, bc this season is blessed!
