gabe takes a few moments to just admire monty. it's not lost on him what the boy has gone through, and how he's managed to survive. if he knows anything, it's that being by yourself with no support isn't easy especially when the little voices try to keep you down. though he'd never admit any of that to him. scar isn't normally this blunt, but it's elliot that she's talking to. they pretty much know everything about each other. she's honestly grateful that she gave many of her firsts to him instead of some fucking weirdo. she can't imagine losing her virginity to someone she didn't share a connection with like she did with him back then. it just made it more special to her.
