Imagine you met the great love of your life, but in no shape or form could you ever make it work. The only way you could love each other is by moulding the other into something they're not. Imagine spending your entire life centered around this person because even though you know you're wrong for each other life feels empty without their presence. Imagine you've spent your entire life simultaneously loving and loathing this person to the point where your feelings are incomprehensible. Imagine they're your foil, every rotten part of you is reflected in them and they remind you of everything you hate about yourself.
THEN imagine finding out that this person is your God. They're your origin. No matter what you do they're always and forever inextricably woven into your body. You can never escape. Ever. They're going to haunt you until you die and even then they'll still linger in your bones. Imagine how crazy that would make you, imagine how much that would turn you insane 🤪🤪🤪🤪
HI REMEMBER WHEN THEY SAID THE DOCTOR HAD ONE CONSTANT COMPANION? AND IT WAS DEATH? REMEMBER WHEN THEY SAID THE MASTER WAS DEATHS CHAMPION. REMEMBER THE MASTER DESCRIBING HIMSELF AS DEATH. (“BECOME ME, BECOME DEATH”). WHAT DO WE THINK LADS
If you're lamenting the fact that you used to be able to shoot through a 500-page novel in like a day when you were in middle school and now you can't, it's worth bearing in mind that a big part of that is because when you were in middle school, your reading comprehension sucked. Yes, mental health and the stresses of adult life can definitely be factors, but it's also the case that reading is typically more effortful as an adult because you've learned to Ponder The Implications. The material isn't just skimming over the surface of your brain anymore, and some of the spoons you used to spend on maximising your daily page count are now spent on actually thinking about what you're reading!
the best thing about doctor who is you can just say Anything and its entirely plausible. the doctor is ruby's birth mother until further notice. just because.
