yellow petplay guy again. i also would like to offer two ideas; one, yellow is somewhat owlish. two; larson does falconry with owls entirely because he likes the harder difficulty of training and the aesthetic of a snowy owl on his glove. this translates INCREDIBLY well to keeping yellow, considering the point of falconry is convincing the bird that staying with you is better for it than going wild

the masses try to silence me but considering how yellow is (desperate to please and wants clear instruction) and how larson is (control freak who calls people dogs) i think he gained yellow's trust with a 24/7 petplay dynamic in those first few days together. taught him how to project with a clicker and still had the clicker at the order so he didn't have to give him verbal cues. plus consider him petting yellow like a bond villain with a cat while sitting on a throne at the order. you understand

Larson/Daniel and Butcher the wingman 💛

Collins completes a job for Larson and drops a cut off finger in front of him as proof. Larson is like "Okay, impressive. Don't do that again".

And then he notices that a few specs of blood got on his pristine creme shirt. He grows pale. "Collins, you brute!! I have a date in 20 minutes!!"

They met in one of Larson's cars in the middle of nowhere, he has no time to get a new shirt and making Daniel wait is out of the question.

He ends up taking a scarf from Butcher (Collins demanded a ridiculous amount of money for the ugly thing, just for fun). He ties the scarf again and again frantically looking into the front mirror to make it look decent.

"Looks okay to me. It has charm to it. The man I took it off of was a real snazzy lad! When he was alive that is..."

Larson kicks him out of his car.

The date is nice as always. He gets a compliment on the scarf and wants to sink into the ground from embarrassment. But it's from Daniel so he knows it's genuine so maybe he's just charming enough to pull it off?

He fidgets with the scarf until he unties it without noticing... And one moment it's gone with a gust of wind.

He prays Daniel doesn't notice a tiny stain, but he does (man's eyes were always keen when looking at Larson...)

Larson lies about having a nosebleed earlier while sweating and overthinking every possible outcome.

Daniel just asks if he's feeling okay. And continues to ask for the rest of the evening. Brings him water. Gives Larson his hand to hold onto while climbing a rather steep path in the park. Buys him a new (and beautiful) scarf.....

Larson thinks he needs to thank the Butcher later.
