So how much do we think Arthur actually knew about the cult his parents were a part of?

He didn't know who Lillith was despite his parents worshipping her to the point of sacrifice. Yet Kayne implies that Arthur's hatred of cults comes from his upbringing. Did Arthur know his parents were cultists but knew nothing about the cult? Or did he only put the pieces together later in life? And why were his parents keeping him in the dark if they were so dedicated? I doubt it was to protect Arthur since they were not great parents and went on to give up everything for Lillith.
