I have a personal Headcanon that the reason Stevonnie doesn't have any visible extra limbs is because they just have four lungs or some shit.

Steven Universe Headcanon: It doesn't take long for word to get around that Stevonnie is essentially two kids in a trenchcoat. They don't think much of this until Steven and Connie are both 21, when they find that if they are fused there's nowhere in a ten mile radius that'll serve them a drink. They go to parties with friends who know their ages. Their friends give them soft drinks. Their friends think this is funny.
