That moment where you're wondering, "Do I put this important scene into this chapter I'm currently working on, or do I make it its own chapter? And if so, what PoV should the next chapter have?"
And then you decide, "Extra chapter, and it's the next chapter, so I have two chapters in a row from the same PoV"
Delightfully devilish 🔥

Me: I have to make this character very likeable, so when he dies, it hits really hard. Me: *writes his death scene* Me: Umm, that worked too well

hello! how do you feel about second person perspective? when writing and when reading?
Hello there!
Generally, I don't write 2nd person perspective, at least not at this point, haven't felt it required yet 🤔
I can however enjoy a story that's written from that perspective. It takes some getting used to since most stories are 1st or 3rd person pov, but when done right, it's a powerful tool, like in Fifth Season from N. K. Jemisin or Dragonfall from L. R. Lam (although the latter is technically speaking not that? For the sake of argument let's pretend it is)
In short, I don't feel confident enough yet to tell a story from that perspective, but it can certainly make a story stronger

I learnt German sign language this week 🙂
Booked a class for that. One of my classmates was ill the past two days, didn't come to class today, and I thought, "I hope I won't catch what she got," mostly because I'll go on holiday next week...
Any way, turns out she got pregnant... Probably won't catch that 🤔

EVERYONE(!) I’m blazing this post because at this pace we might barely hit 1,000,000 signatures—or just fall short. PLEASE reblog this post, no matter where you are from, so we can reach as many EU citizens as possible and end this horrible practice!

Rather proud of having 2 instances that warrant a "Bloody pirates!" in one chapter, and actually using one of them (so far, this is a first draft) to actually say it 😊

Question: What is the greatest magic of all? Answer: Friendship, right? [B]: The greatest magic of all is not friendship, it's chronomancy, the ability to control and warp time. If friendship were the greatest magic, look, it's a pet peeve of mine (...)
