People who haven’t read solitaire take tori’s behaviour as a joke and just how she is but in reality my girl is STRUGGLING and crying for help and nobody sees it. More people need to realise that it is not in fact normal so spend all your time alone in your room.

The look on Nick’s face when Tao tells him Charlie hasn’t told him much about the bullying either is something that makes me super emotional; his horrified expression when he realises that Tao not knowing probably means that Charlie hasn’t told anyone and has been carrying around all those thoughts and feelings.

One thing i cannot stop thinking about when watching/reading heartstopper is when Charlie opens his first ever birthday present from Nick is the image of Nick sat at his kitchen table late one night after a long day at school just sticking the stickers to the frame, all while thinking about Charlie and how much he likes him. Sara obviously then realises that Charlie is very dear to Nick after watching him spend ages looking through his camera roll for the right photo to use to then print it out and decorate the frame and that’s why later on in the book/show after Nicks fight with Harry she says that Charlie is a special friend to Nick because she has seen Nick become vulnerable in a way that only she has ever seen, the side of nick that he chooses to hide in front of his school friends.
