Apparently the Thai editions of the rest of the capri books are out!! They're gorgeous, Thailand stays winning. And now we have four different covers where Damen holds Laurent's waist for Kings Rising and that's beautiful. Interesting choice to put Laurent in red instead of Damen though. It's like the opposite of the Polish cover. I like that it's the same kind of cloak he was wearing on the cover of the first Thai book but in Akielon colours this time.

And it's funny that every other country with illustrated covers chose to show the progression of Damen and Laurent's relationship through their clothing but Thailand was like "nope, Damen's gonna wear the minimal amount of clothing at all times." If they do a new cover for the Summer Palace they should let Laurent wear just the tiniest piece of fabric as a chiton

Laurent is like the platonic ideal for “look like th’ innocent flower, but be the serpent under ‘t” except he’s also not because no one except Torveld even thinks he looks like an innocent flower. So it’s like he’s the serpent that’s even more serpent-y underneath.
