Just saw an ask abt Miki and omg I also need to know more about Abbess (she's secretly my wife trust 🙏)

Hi anon. Eris is one of my favorite secondary characters so… Let's go with some facts.

Almost all the names of the secondary characters usually have some hidden reason for having been chosen. In the case of Eris it is not very discreet being the Greek goddess of discord. Closely related to both work and effort through competitive envy among humans, as well as violence and chaos. It represents quite well the character of our Eris and her way of leading the brotherhood.

She is strict, controlling and very influential. The Brotherhood is feared by many demons for their exemplary punishments, their resources and the political power they wield but, among them all, the abbot or abbesses are the most influential. Eris was always a precocious genius of the brotherhood, who managed to synchronize with her demon the same day she was possessed. Her demon was one of envy and not a very friendly one at that. After synchronization Eris seemed to ‘devour’ her demon as neither her character nor her appearance changed much.

She unanimously succeeded her predecessor after his death by election of a special council and since then the Sisterhood became stronger and its rules were tightened. Each abbot has enough freedom to decide what is his project for the brotherhood or for themselves but no one has been able to hold the whole high command of the Church as tightly as she does. Even Valefar respects her and never makes too lofty jokes with her.

Although she is a lover of rules and traditions and seems to have learned them to the letter, there is always a halo of mystery about her. You never know exactly what Eris's motivations or beliefs are. Which makes her even more dangerous.

Finally, she is much older than she appears to be. Siblings age and eventually die but they do so at a slower rate so Eris may be at least 140 or 150 years old.

Although the previous episode was very summery…. Now the church is not going through its brightest and warmest moment. Just as neither has been the MC's reunion with Hasiel.

We find him in a secluded place, and most disturbing of all…. In his angel form. If Hasiel has allowed himself to be seen in this form that makes him so uncomfortable, something serious is going on.

Anyway, how would the druids react to the MC and Kyeran getting married and/or the MC getting pregnant? 👀

Hi anon!!! We're so glad you like Kyeran. He's such a sweet character.

Druids are very open minded and would accept any Jordan into their family. Whether he was more or less good or had tastes that clash a lot with those of the community. Above all they respect the tastes and motivations of Kyeran and they would believe that if he has chosen you it is for a very good reason. Also, for them Kyeran has always had something ‘sacred’ so they would treat you like royalty (even though they are a hermetic community with limited resources).

They would want to have a big public wedding with several days of celebrations and rituals that you may not quite understand. They would insist on wanting you to stay there and raise the child within the community just as they raised Kyeran. But, I doubt very much that Kyeran himself would like that. He doesn't want an isolationist life for his child. He would want to be able to give him a more hopeful and realistic outlook, as well as tools to be able to defend himself from a rather hostile world. Ask masterlist

Hello again!

Our protagonist spends the first days of confinement with Joe, since neither Hasiel nor Arael have been seen in the hours allowed by the curfew. Jordan suspects that Hana may be using them for her own purposes, and that worries them as much as the current situation and the conversation they had with Hana about their powers…

But if anyone is able to ease the tension we start this episode with, it's Joe. Who, of course, already has an idea to end the boredom before it kills her.

She has an escape plan… Will Jordan join her, or will they prefer to be cautious and stay and wait for the situation to relax?

Si alguien es capaz de aliviar la tensión con la que comenzamos este episodio, esa es Joe. Que, por supuesto, ya tiene un plan para acabar con el aburrimiento antes de que este la mate a ella.

Tiene un plan de escape... ¿Se unirá Jordan a ella, o preferirá ser cauto y quedarse a esperar a que la situación se relaje?

Eek, hellohello!! :D I just recently played the demo and have deeply fallen in love with everyone! Especially the characters in the Angel route 💗💗 Though, I've been scrolling through the ask masterlist and have noticed the lack of attention for the background characters D: I am aware that you're focused on the main guys but I feel like my bbg Miki is in need of love too!

Poor dude has to deal with the main characters' shenanigans, so tell me more about him/fun facts! I am genuinely curious about some of the other background characters like Abbess Eris and such too tho :o

This is a very interesting question and it's quite true that we don't usually talk too much about our secondary characters so I'll try to talk a little bit more about it.

Miki is sort of like a representation of St. Peter. Someone who looks after the doors of the church and makes sure that everything is in its place. He is often quite undervalued by the rest of his colleagues but, he's the most loyal to the cause and to the chain of command. Therefore, it's not surprising that he never questions Hana, nor disagrees with him. That doesn't make him a free thinker, though.

His virtue is patience and his powers are very similar to Joe's but, in some ways, more limited. He has the ability to astral project through a certain range and at great speed. That is why he is such a good guardian of the Church. That is the main reason why Hana put Joe in his charge. He constantly clashes with Joe because of his problems with authority and rules and his low tolerance for nonsense. But he has never questioned Hana having to teach Joe how to use her powers.

In early development we wanted to make an equivalent counterpart for the Dark Church that derived into a security character who is currently a shadow that has come out at the entrance of the Church and at the door of 7 sins. We never fully developed this idea, it was just a sort of inside joke and a reminder that the two Churches are more similar than they seem.

Eeeek! I loved the VN so far, I'm obsessed!!!! (And totally not have been stalking the official Chronicles from 4012 social media for the past week)

Anyway, I'm just asking purely out of curiosity... What did they lack as children? And how did they cope with it? (If they were ever children)

Hi anon!!! Thank you very much for the follows and for the question.

I have been thinking about this question if it would be correct to answer with supernaturals as if we could consider their arrival on earth as ‘their childhood’ but, I think it doesn't fit too much with what I think is the incarnation process, so I will just stick to talking about human childhoods.

Maske: Too obvious: Love. He was literally given everything but love. His childhood was very depressive. Maske was just a future replacement for his father. His desires didn't matter, nor was he allowed to think outside of expectations, which caused him to become frustrated with everyone around him and feel completely rootless.

Kyeran: He was the son of many and at the same time of none. Although he cannot complain about the love and raising of the druids, it's true that he did not have a conventional upbringing and that he hardly interacted with children of his own age. Passing from hand to hand with no settled place or education. His connection with others always felt superficial and he has always longed to have a deeper relationship with another human being.

Akane: She is probably the one who has had the most normal and responsible family but, since she was little, she has been a bit weird for her classmates. Too violent and confrontational, she caused more problems than she should have. So if I had to say something about her it's that she has always lacked emotional control. As the years went by and what happened with her son and Jace, wounds of abandonment and guilt were added.

Pin: Responsible parenting. His mother, though she loves Pin dearly, has been very neglectful of him. It may be partly because she's not the most affiliated pencil in the pencil case, and partly because she's a faithful believer in Raziel's church. She didn't hesitate to submit Pin to the brotherhood and encourage him to take all the risky paths offered to him there.

Joe: Understanding. Joe was born into a strict middle-class family where she was expected to be responsible and maintain realistic life expectations. Differences with her family grew over the years putting Joe on the street at a very young age to ‘take responsibility for herself’. It didn't make her more financially responsible, nor did it make her more realistic, nor less superficial. All they did was place Joe in a position of precariousness and helplessness.

If you played the route of Kyeran, this is a small summary of the end of chapter 12.2 A moment of anguish and fear that will shake the life of our young druid.

But not everything is sad, because in only two weeks… We will have a new chapter! We return with Hasiel, Arael and Joe to the church of St. Gabriel where things have also become very tense and worrying…

hello there! i saw the protaganists ask about who would brag about jordan but what if the card was reversed?

I guess it depends a lot on how you think of your Jordan. There are many answers that can help to build a more calm and friendly personality or a more tough and independent one. But if you ask me what Jordan's relationship with the protagonists would be like for me in this sense, I would say....

Zihel: I can't imagine a Jordan who doesn't beat up on Zihel. He needs to be verbally beaten up more often. It's a lot of fun and he deserves it (a little) too. So I don't think they would admit they are with Zihel. But they would make comments to tease him about it along the lines of, “With this neanderthal? He'd like that.”

Ariel: If you're with Ariel and you don't take advantage of eating his mouth every time you see him, you're wasting your time.

Pin: If Jordan decided not to brag about him, he'd feel bad even if he didn't say so. It's very easy to keep acting like two good friends but it would be painful for him.

Akane: If Jordan doesn't annoy Akane a little by embarrassing her in public I would consider it another waste. Akane is very embarrassing when it comes to public displays of affection and statements. But if she hears sincere compliments she will just melt inside.

Maske: Being clear that Maske wouldn't tell anyone... I see Jordan needing to make it clear to them that they are indeed together, including them in conversations and moments just so they don't misinterpret the situation. They would state more often than Maske would like that they are a couple.

Kyeran: I can imagine this Jordan announcing it to everyone. Making the event a community-wide celebration. Plus these two wouldn't stop having public displays of affection all the time.

Arael: She would be indifferent. She doesn't know the protocols well.

Hasiel: He would prefer not to let anyone know. But if you decided to make it public he would never deny you.

Joe: This Jordan would certainly play Joe's games and would be willing to talk about it on Social Networks but I also believe that they aren't the type to express it face to face.

Hi!! ^^ I'm the scent anon and HOLY SHITT i just finished all of the routes the other day and to summarize how i felt after:

Im back with another question and what greek gods would you assignment for each protaganist?? (If its not too spoilery to ask)

Hi, @fairyoflesbianism !!! It makes me very happy that you make theories. It's one of the things I enjoy the most when I'm a player, so for me it's a great compliment.

Zihel: Ares. Maybe the most obvious one, but if there's an idea with Zihel it's a combative character (and his slovenliness). Always at odds with the rest of Olympus and creating chaos and conflict in his wake.

Ariel: Thanatos and Eros. I know the obvious thing would have been to say something like Apollo for the seductive and musical part or Dionysus... For me it's a mix between Thanatos (I won't justify this part xDD) and Eros which, particularly, Eros and Psyche is one of my favorite myths.

Pin: Hermes and Hercules. Two characters associated with physical labor and sport. Although I don't really like the idea of Hermes' oratory, I do see Pin as a character navigating between different worlds Tartarus, Olympus... etc. I also find him to have an interesting idea about deception and with Hercules because of his transformation into a deity.

Akane: Artemis. She rejects the world of men, hunter and born warrior. Although it is true that some aspects of her are left out, such as food, jealousy or motherhood that make me look very strongly at Demeter or Hera.

Maskeguy: Hades. One of the main gods who was purposely forgotten by the rest of his peers. Nicknamed many times 'the invisible one'. They would be capable of kidnapping the love of their life. And would love the idea of living isolated in a world surrounded by darkness and death.

Kyeran: Helios. God of the sun. The all-seeing one. He has a bright side that everyone sees, but a dark side that he shows to no one.

Arael: Eleos. Goddess of mercy, mediator and defender of humanity.

Joe: Hebe and Tique. Hebe to me is the image that Joe projects to the world and Tique is where his story is headed. You can take this information with care.

Hasiel: Athena. Although he would not like to see himself represented in a woman, his values fit her perfectly. Wisdom, craftsmanship and... Even a little bit of war (maybe the next patch will shed some light on this aspect). Also, I've always seen Athena as a goddess outside of traditional female (and sexual) roles, so I like her for him.
