Hiii thank you so much for the ask!!!!! For some reason it wouldn’t let me answer it directly?? so I had to take a screenshot 😅

My cryptid au which i have named Forest Whispers isnt based on any preexisting sets which means the guys dont have set designs so i kinda just doodled some myself ^_^ these may change/are not strict.

The matsus are still living with their parents but now theyre in the countryside yay! I dont have a specific setting yet and its not likely ill decide on one but it’s definitely not set in a very modern time. The Matsuno family lives in a two story house kind of similar to their canon one, they have a barn too that used to hold horses when they were children but now its just for storage. I think before the sextuplets were born Matsuyo and Matsuzō raised animals but then their six little babies were so much work they had to switch over to primarily farming lol (they kept their chickens though). So thats the situation now that theyre all grown up. The boys are still pretty lazy but i like to think that their chores now are related to helping around the farm. They also profit from the crops since they go to the nearby town. Other characters from the show also live around, but everyone’s properties are not that close together (Some walkable distance, others not).

As for the cryptid aspect this is where my yume comes in. Sol is a creature of unidentifiable origin, they dont have a clear species like other well known cryptids like Bigfoot and Mothman, kinda mixed with a little bit of everything lol.

They’ve existed for longer than the small town, no one can really place how long. In decades theres only been one or two “sightings”, such little is known about them that they havent even been given a name. Theyre more-so a myth nobody can prove, stories of their existence being passed down by grandparents to their grandkids. Beliefs that they’re the one that brings back rain in times of need and drought, that if you get lost in the woods you’ll see a trail of little white flowers leading you to safety, or even that they’re responsible for the new growths after fires. Theyre an enigma, most people believe that their existence doesnt go past just being childhood tales 🤫. The forest and mountains are their home, its where they belong.
