This fic is for onyxonline's Space Riders AU, this time with shenanigans in KoiRite's planet Imbeko! This fic is mainly centered around Onyx's OC Z and my OC, KoiRite! Please check Onyx out, their work is super cool!

Bhekumbuso, a raging province of Imbeko and home to the panthers. The state for improvement of one's values and goals; the leader.

As welcoming as it was, a particular masked tuxedo cat kept to himself for the time being. Z stayed in the shadows as he observed the servants at work within the palace. He took in the sites, the interior of the whole place.

"Enjoying yourself, Tux?"

Z suddenly turned his head, his own helmet meeting Koi's. Then down to her attire. He crossed his arms, lightly scoffing.

"Coming back from a mission, Warrior?"

Koi let her helmet disappear at silent command, the rose gold fangs framing her face once the protective material dissolved. She tilted her neck as the bones quietly cracked.

"Unfortunately. I apologize I wasn't at the entrance to give you a tour of Bhekumbuso. I hope my brothers weren't a handful."

Z shrugged, nodding off her apology.

"They were alright, nothing too bad. But about a tour of the palace-"

"Hold on there."

Koi handed him a shawl with embroidered patterns of Imbeko's mythological creatures. She lightly patted his shoulder with a small chuckle.

"Mother would scold me if you weren't given the guest shawl when you came. It's yours to keep if you want."

Z nodded, taking a look back at the detail. Koi smirked and walked off, starting off the tour of the palace.

"So, you and Solaris?"

Z turned his head to Koi as the two were out in the garden, the visor on his helmet making a confused expression.

"What do you mean?"

Koi glanced his way with a soft smirk and leaned back against a savannah tree.

"I've seen it, the times you fall secretly for him."

Z turned his head away, sighing heavily as he rested his head on his closed fist. He didn't think it wouldn't be possible.

"It can't happen. I've done things... and I don't think it wouldn't be possible for us.."

Koi raised a eyebrow then placed her hand on his shoulder.

"You underestimate DogDay. He understands you, cares for you. Who says it's not possible for you two?"

Z's ears on his helmet pinned down to his head, showing his fear.

"Koi, I-"

"You love him, don't you? Then try. Try to let yourself see that everyone is right here for you. Even him."

Z then went silent to Koi's assuring words. Then he nodded.

He just has to try.

This fic is more of a fun fic for onyxonline's Space Riders AU! This is mainly centered as the headcanoned sibling dynamic between Eve Ewe and DogDay! Please check Onyx out, their work is super cool!

DogDay felt emptiness. His mind was dulled as he tried to wake up. He felt like he was floating in the cosmos, the faint sounds of whispering angels ringing in his ears.

He then found himself at a magical place, something similar to Eden's outskirts. The sound of an owl echoed as it flew above his head and landed on the branch of a weeping willow.

"Captain DogDay. My, how you've grown."

DogDay flinched at the sound of his title as captain, quickly turning his head to whoever said.

A tall, roughly 11ft, woman sat in a bark throne made from the tree behind her. Her hair glided against no wind as her piercing teal eyes stared down at the captain. Owls perched around her like pets, waiting for her call to either attack or to befriend.

DogDay took note of the teal eyes and immediately bowed.

"Q-Queen Aurora!"

The queen lightly laughed and leaned forward, her finger under his chin. Despite her tall stature after death, she still had her benevolence.

"Now now, captain. No need to bow, not anymore. Save that for my little Eve."

DogDay nodded and stood up nervously. He didn't really know how to react, meeting Eve's mother like this in what seemed to be a dream to the afterlife.

The queen calmly scooped him up with her gentle hands, the captain being so small compared to her size.

"You have protected my little Eve very well after me and Lucien's passing. I give you my appreciation for it. But I have noticed something in particular."

DogDay went silent for a moment. He didn't understand what she was implying, it was almost scary. Yet he let her continue on.

"I give you my blessing, DogDay Solaris, to become my little Eve's older brother and my son."

DogDay then went to a stunned state. Her son? But she was a demon, a demoness at a very high rank in her hierarchy. Was it logical? What if the council in Eden found out? All those worries filled his head.

"Your Highness, I don't get it. What of the council? What about the other demons? Is this all even safe?"

The queen giggled, a ghostly aura to her.

"My dear, Lucien does not tolerate such of that. If those old kooks decide to harass you for being my son, he will not hesitate to send a little lightning their way as a warning."

DogDay slowly nodded, trying to peace everything together. As he did so, Aurora comfortingly kissed his head.

"Go now, my little shining sun. Your sisters will miss you."

"DogDay! DogDay, this is no time to be napping! It's mission time!

DogDay suddenly woke up in his room, hearing the youngest sisters Felicite and Melanie in his ears as he was shaken mainly by Felicite.

"Wha- what do you two mean by a 'mission time'?"

Melanie lightly shrugged and plopped onto his bed.

"'Mission time' is when we go steal tarts from the kitchen. And you have to stand guard so we can steal them!"

DogDay sighed yet chuckled and shook his head.

"Alright, you rascals. But you have to eat only three. You two can't really manage sweets like that."

The little ferret and mink princesses groaned and ran out of his room for the kitchen downstairs of the palace.

DogDay looked out the balcony, the stars behind the forcefield that shielded Eden still glowed beautifully. As he smiled, a certain big and bright star twinkled in response.

Aurora was watching. His new family was watching him.

Ok so APPARENTLY, my link to my qpr ship tierlist left when i was linking my stuff to the new pinned post, SO HERE WE GO (with explanations this time):

Hyperfixation: If I wasn't so focused on OC x Canon, these would be what I would be drawing 24/7!

Adore It: I love this ship and I wish there was more content of them! (mainly ones that aren't shown in art a lot, Bobby x Hoppy/Bobby x Crafty art is common)

Like It: Found out about it from somewhere or is in fanart and I get it or I personally think it can work!

Don't Mind It: I personally don't ship it but if you do, props to you! Maybe I'll get it!

Not A Fan: THIS DOES NOT MEAN I HATE THE SHIP. This means almost the same as "Don't Mind It"; I understand why you ship it but to my own preferences or if I can't see it happening, I don't ship it.

PLEASE NOTE:

I don't ship the critters romantically! I ship them like they're in a QPR (queer-platonic relationship)! I like thinking the critters are one big QPR with their own dynamics and rules and boundaries with whatever ship that's known!

QPRs also work for OC x Canon for me!

Within the universe of Matron in the Playhouse, the toys are divided. Heretics and Believers.

This post states all known information of the Heretics and how they function as a group.

Hierarchy of Heretics

Overseers:

[ Overseers group sets as the supervisor/security of the heretics. They scout all over the Playtime Co. factory, usually in specific areas (ex: Game Station - Daddy Long Legs). Overseers send a distress call to Chiefs/Second Commands to send to Scavengers/Farm Hands/Recallers so they can return to Base. ]

Chiefs:

[ Chiefs group sets as the leaders of the heretics. They govern over the heretics and care for all survivors, tending to plans for Scavengers/Farm Hands/Recallers and means of escaping the factory. Chiefs set the example and are the protectors, taking their goals seriously yet take offense when questioned (either by other chiefs or anyone lower). ]

Second Commands:

[ Second Commands group sets as the “second word” to Chiefs, being set as the second important figure among the heretics. They set the jobs for specific heretics and are in control of all weaponry and grab-pack access for only Scavengers. Second Commands are only set in their role if they are close friends with Chiefs in loyalty, they are not just any heretic. ]

Scavengers:

[ Scavengers group sets as one of the only groups that maintain the safety and survival of the heretics, They are responsible to venture outside the Base into any location for any form of resource that can be melded into a type of weapon or any hint of a functional grab-pack for later planned escapes from the factory. Scavengers have their own side jobs such as Engineers, Nurses, and Daycare Attendants. Scavengers are also responsible to fight off any Exiled if deemed necessary, being in teams with Farm Hands/Recallers. ]

Farm Hands:

[ Farm Hands group sets as one of the only groups that maintain the safety and survival of the heretics. They are responsible for the healthiness of all survivors, being their side job as Cooks/Chefs. Making food is more difficult as their is no vital life within the factory so Farm Hands resort to fresh killed living toys (mainly Brons) and edible and tasteful vending machine items to make suitable meals. Farm Hands sometimes team up with Scavengers /Recallers if a specific area have a number of farming resources. ]

Recallers:

[ Recallers group sets as one of the only groups that maintain the safety and survival of the heretics. They are the only ones that can note a specific area to give to Chiefs/Second Commands for later missions set for teams. Recallers are also the only group that are able to comfort founding survivors to be taken back to Base. Whenever out with Scavengers, Recallers create a type of note (whether a painted symbol or a crafted object) to come back to a specific area later. ]

FANDOM UPDATE/SCHEDULE

So I don't think many people that I follow or interact with note that I'm in finals season for classes so I'm trying to study as much as possible before next Friday (surprise, only one big final) but I want to give intel to what will happen after:

I will be trying new content and potentially reimagines/rewrites for big media like Lore Olympus. I am a heavy researcher and modern retellings are just so bad that I'm at it to here to just do my own version.

I will also be working on more Smiling Critters content, hopefully getting more into my AUs and post more of Matron in the Playhouse by summer. After next Friday, there's not much for me except workforce training so we'll be at it for a while.

I am going to get to my other fandoms, I promise, I just need to get some things done before I go hyperfixating again.
